GN-0000+GNR-010/XN 00 XN Raiser (aka 00 XN Raiser, pronounced Double-Oh Sun Raiser), is the combination of the GN-0000 00 Gundam and the GNR-010/XN XN Raiser. It appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam 00V side story. 00 XN Raiser carries a pair of GN Buster Sword IIIs that can combine into one large sword. The additional pair of manipulator arms on the XN Raiser allows the 00 XN Raiser to carry more weapons, as well as grant it another pair of arms for combat use. XN Raiser's binders do not dock into the 00 Gundam's twin GN Drives; instead, they fold up when the XN Raiser is docked onto the 00 Gundam. The entire system docks onto the 00 Gundam's back as a weapons backpack.

The MSN-06S Sinanju (aka Sinanju) is a mobile suit featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn novel, its OVA adaptation and the television re-cut. A modified version of the MSN-06S Sinanju Stein, it was piloted by Full Frontal. Originally the MSN-06S Sinanju Stein developed by Anaheim Electronics as part of the Earth Federation's "UC Project", its movable frame is partly made from Psycho-Frame materials. This mobile suit was then stolen and modified into the MSN-06S Sinanju by the Neo Zeon remnant group known as "The Sleeves", and became the personal machine of the group's leader, Full Frontal.All of the Gundam-like features (except for the head-mounted vulcan guns) in the Sinanju Stein have been replaced with a Zeonic design and weaponry. Painted in crimson and with gold engraving, the Sinanju looks like the emblem of the Neo Zeon forces embodied. This decoration not only strengthens the armor, but is also said to be a design that is meant to control the organization known as the Neo Zeon remnants. The Sinanju Stein was an experimental machine, so there were some concerns about the armor's resistance to elasticity, but in order to increase the pilot's survival, the beam coating was strengthened from the two-layer structure used in most conventional MS to a five-layer structure, and the entire cockpit block was covered with Luna Titanium X material, and the Sinanju's armor has been strengthened as flagship machine.The Sinanju is also equipped with thrust deflector thrusters shaped like the large wings of a bird of prey, and flexible thrusters on the left and right sides of both legs and shins. Together with the numerous thrusters located all over its body, it is capable of acrobatic maneuvering combat that is impossible for a normal MS to achieve. With its overwhelming combat ability, crimson body, and mono-eye sensor, the Sinanju reminds all who see it of the legendary "Red Comet".

The RX-78-2 Gundam is the titular mobile suit of Mobile Suit Gundam television series. Part of the RX-78 Gundam series, it was built in secret on Side 7. The Gundam would turn the tide of war in favor of the Earth Federation during the One Year War against the Principality of Zeon. It was primarily piloted by Amuro Ray. The Gundam was incredibly advanced for its time. Built from lightweight Luna Titanium Alloy, its frame was both lighter than that of Zeon's mass-produced mobile suits and much sturdier, able to shrug off a MS-06 Zaku II's machine gun fire with little to no damage. Its offensive power was above and beyond that of the Zakus. The Gundam would engage in most battles with its beam rifle, making it the first mobile suit to have firepower equivalent to a battleship's beam cannons. In addition, it made use of two beam sabers, blades of extremely hot plasma which could cut through any metal with ease. Those beam sabers could be extended into a spear-like beam javelin, which could be used to stab into an enemy from a longer distance.The Gundam also used more conventional weaponry; it could launch rockets with a "Hyper Bazooka", the Federation's answer to the bazookas used by Zeon's Zakus; in addition, its head was outfitted with a pair of small vulcan guns, as a way of attacking light-armored aircraft and vehicles without wasting ammo or energy from its more powerful armaments. It also made use of a very unconventional close-range weapon known as the "Gundam Hammer" - a large weapon similar to a flail which could be swung at enemies to deal crushing damage. The Gundam Hammer was eventually upgraded for use in space and outfitted with a number of verniers on the ball, and renamed to be the "Hyper Hammer". Lastly, it wielded a shield which would offer it a defense against enemy attacks that not even its Luna Titanium body could withstand without damage. Gundam pilot, Amuro Ray, would make use of the shield as a decoy in many battles, taking advantage of its size to fool the enemy into thinking he was charging at them, then attacking the enemy through the shield.In terms of technology, the Gundam was equipped with a sophisticated Learning Computer which would collect pilot and enemy data during skirmishes and allow the Gundam to operate more effectively. The data from the computer was used by the Federation to improve the controls of the Gundam's mass-produced form, the RGM-79 GM. In addition, it was upgraded by Federation technician Mosque Han shortly before the Battle of A Baoa Qu to improve its reaction times, the joints of the Gundam were given a Magnet Coating, based on the experimental procedure performed on the RX-78-3 "G-3" Gundam and later used on Amuro's intended successor unit, the RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex".The Gundam makes use of the Core Block System implemented in the other V Project units. The torso of the Gundam is mostly hollow so that a FF-X7 Core Fighter can dock with it. This allows the pilot to jettison the legs and torso of the Gundam should the machine be too heavily damaged and gives the pilot a chance to escape from battle. Later, during Operation Odessa, the Gundam is given a support unit known as the G-Fighter. The RGM-96X Jesta is a mobile suit based on the RGM-89 Jegan, and it is introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. The Jesta is a high performance special operations mobile suit of the Jegan series developed by Anaheim Electronics to escort the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, as the Unicorn Gundam's operating time in its Destroy Mode is limited. Aside from escorting the Unicorn Gundam, the Jesta's intended mission also consisted of dispatching ordinary enemy forces, creating "situations" in which the Unicorn Gundam can directly confront and destroy enemy Newtype weapons.The Jesta is fitted with a backpack capable of tremendous thrust so as to keep up with the Unicorn Gundam. Although the Jesta's weapon loadout is similar to the Jegan's, it features improved and more advanced weapons, such as the customized beam rifle and backpack-mounted movable shield, which like the Jegan's shield, contains four missiles. In addition to its advanced weaponry, the Jesta also carries three spare magazines for the beam rifle on the right forearm, and a beam saber on its left forearm.Although intended to be an escort unit, the Jesta's performance surpasses most Federation mobile suits of its time, overwhelmingly exceeding the Jegan type of the same period, with its performance reaching 90% of the RX-93 ν Gundam's. The Jesta is essentially a product of the UC Project, however this fact has been kept hidden even within the Earth Federation Forces.

The ZGMF-X56S/β Sword Impulse Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Shinn Asuka and later by Lunamaria Hawke. The ZGMF-X56S/β Sword Impulse is the ZGMF-X56S Impulse equipped with the β Sword Silhouette pack and is designed to serve as a close combat mobile suit. The Sword Silhouette pack adds two anti-ship laser swords, which can be combined into a larger double bladed sword, and a pair of beam boomerangs to the Impulse's standard armaments of two CIWS, two anti-armor knifes, a beam rifle and a shield. Thanks to the presence of the beam rifle, the suit has no problem engaging in range combat if required. The suit's VPS colors are different from that of the normal Impulse, and is now red, black and white.

The GAT-X103 Buster Gundam is a prototype artillery mobile suit introduced in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. It was piloted by Dearka Elsman. One of the five mobile suits developed as part of the Earth Alliance's G Project, the Buster Gundam is an artillery mobile suit and adopts the X100-series frame, similar to the one used by the GAT-X102 Duel Gundam. It has firepower rivaling that of a battleship and is meant to provide rear support for the other units and to attack enemy ships or facilities from a distance. Due to its role, the main sensor camera on Buster's head is very important and is protected with additional armor.Its primary armaments are the gun launcher and high-energy rifle, both are energy intensive and have their own sub-generators. They can also combine to form the more powerful anti-armor shotgun or the hyper-impulse long-range sniper rifle, with the improved firepower seemingly caused by the linkage of the sub-generators. Although the suit has no close combat weapon, it has a pair of shoulder-mounted missile pods that can be used to discourage enemy units from closing in. Like other units in the G Project, Buster has Phase Shift armor, making it nearly impervious to physical weapons.

The ν Gundam is one of the most advanced mobile suits during the Second Neo Zeon War in U.C. 0093, together with Char Aznable's MSN-04 Sazabi, it is used by Amuro Ray who also came up with its basic design. It was manufactured at Anaheim Electronics' Von Braun plant and completed in a short period of time (about three months) under the supervision of chief engineer October Saran. Its design is based on the average specification values of each successive generation of Gundam-type units from the original RX-78-2 Gundam to the MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam and updated with state-of-the-art technologies introduced at the time. Various test data collected from the ARX-014P Silver Bullet (Funnel Test Type), the YRA-90A μ Gundam, and the RX-9 Narrative Gundam were also used in its development.The ν Gundam's design focuses on versatility and operational aspects, as well as emphasizes on reliability and durability for protracted battles. It adopts unitized parts that are designed according to EFF standards, except for the Psycho-Frame, for easier procurement of parts and materials and reducing special components as much as possible. It can be easily repaired due to maintenance feedback and combat data. Despite its short development time, the ν Gundam proved itself to be a formidable mobile suit and when combined with legendary ace pilot Amuro Ray's immense skill and experience, this powerful, state-of-the-art machine was able to almost single-handedly hold back the whole Neo Zeon force, and its Psycho-Frame was put to the test to determine the history of humanity living on earth.

The GN-005 Gundam Virtue (aka Gundam Virtue, Gundam Virtue Particle, Virtue) is a mobile suit featured in season one of Mobile Suit Gundam 00. It is piloted by Tieria Erde. A heavily armed and armored mobile suit, the Gundam Virtue has the highest offensive and defensive power among the third-generation Gundams deployed in AD 2307 by the Celestial Being, a paramilitary organization aiming to eliminate world conflicts through armed interventions. Specializing in artillery warfare for fleet battles and assaulting enemy strongholds, the Virtue's firepower is unmatched among contemporaries thanks to heavy beam weaponry, consisting of a GN Bazooka and two GN Cannons. As Virtue is not meant for anti-mobile suit combat, its only melee weapon is a pair of GN Beam Sabers. Due to its large size, Virtue's mobility and evasive capabilities are lower than the other Gundams, but these weaknesses are mitigated by its high defensive strength in the form of heavy armor and the ability to generate a 360-degree GN Field barrier around itself that can nullify most physical and beam attacks.The Virtue demonstrated impressive propulsion capabilities when it was shown to be capable of overcoming the combined thrust of six MSJ-06II-E Tieren Space Types. Like the other Gundams, Virtue has a semi-perpetual GN Drive in the center of its body that provides almost limitless energy and generates special, multifunctional GN Particles. The GN Particles have a unique mass reduction effect and because of this, the heavily equipped Virtue can operate efficiently and weighs only half as much as the similarly bulky MSJ-06II-A Tieren Ground Type operated by the Human Reform League. This reduction effect remains even when the Virtue is not operating as the GN Drive continues to function. The GN Particles are also utilized for propulsion, beam weaponry, generation of GN Field, attitude control, and stealth purposes as they can cause electromagnetic interference, leaving conventional communications and radar devices useless.Due to the heavy GN Particle demand of Virtue's beam weaponry and GN Field, large capacity GN Condensers are mounted throughout its body to store excess particles produced by the GN Drive when the Gundam is not operating. The GN Particles are primarily controlled through a pair of torso-mounted clavicle antennas, and light purple-colored "GN Cables" are installed in various locations to facilitate the supply of these particles to each part of the Gundam and for attitude control purposes. In an emergency, the Virtue can activate the special "Trans-Am System" to enhance its thrust and defensive strength, as well as increase its output to three times that of its normal specifications for a limited time period. The Virtue glows red as a side-effect and though Trans-Am boosts the power of its beam weaponry, this system is also a double-edged sword as Virtue's performance will drop dramatically once it ends.Besides the Trans-Am System, which is also utilized by other Gundams, the Virtue has another method of responding to emergencies that is unique, it can purge its armor to reveal the GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh. However, this was not the original intention of the armor purging mechanism, which was meant for the simultaneous switch to Nadleeh while activating the latter's Trial System. The concept of hiding a Gundam within another Gundam can be traced to the common predecessor of Virtue and Nadleeh – the second generation GNY-004 Gundam Plutone, which is fitted with an ejectable flight unit known as the "Core Fighter". The Plutone is also the first Gundam capable of generating a 360-degree GN Field, but its generation system is not as stable as Virtue's. The Nadleeh is concealed to prevent its Trial System, an ability to stop betrayers, from being discovered and for effective utilization of the limited numbers of GN Drives that Celestial Being has.Among the third-generation Gundams, Virtue's development was the slowest. At that time, the current form of Virtue was also known as "Gundam Virtue Particle" to differentiate it from an alternate design, the physical projectile-based GN-005/PH Gundam Virtue Physical. Both designs are prepared by Veda, Celestial Being's quantum computing system, based on its predictions about armed intervention missions. Despite their differences, both Virtue Particle and Virtue Physical are designed as artillery units for anti-fleet and anti-stronghold combat, this ensures the Nadleeh is positioned at the rear and could quickly return to the base or mothership to be outfitted with more effective equipment to stop betrayers. In the end, after studying the results of multiple joint exercises involving the four Gundam Meisters, Veda chose Virtue Particle as it displayed better cooperability with the other Gundams.Veda rejected the idea of keeping the Virtue Physical as alternate equipment because switching equipment mid-mission is expected to be very difficult due to the lean manpower and the design of the mothership. There is also the worry that the enemy might discover the hidden Nadleeh by observing the commonalities between the two equipment sets. The Gundam Virtue is eventually succeeded by the reborn Celestial Being's GN-008 Seravee Gundam, which is also an anti-fleet and anti-stronghold mobile suit equipped with multiple beam cannons and GN Field. Data from the Gundam Virtue is also utilized in the development of the CBY-077 GN Cannon and the GNZ-003 Gadessa, the former is part of Veda's alternate plan for armed intervention and the latter is used by an enemy of the reborn Celestial Being.

The MBF-P03R Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise is the improved form of the MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second L developed by the Serpent Tail with help from Lowe Guele. It first appeared in the photo series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED VS Astray. The unit is piloted by Gai Murakumo. Using combat data obtained from the Gundam Astray Blue Frame Third, the Blue Frame Second L was upgraded into the Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise. The new MS has better balance and its main weapon, Tactical Arms II, is an improved version of the original Tactical Arms and has 2 new forms, Gatling Arm and Sword Arm. Blue Frame 2nd Revise retains the other weapons of Second L as well as the Trans Phase Armor system around the cockpit. It also stores additional power packs on its rear skirts, which are often used together with the Gatling form. Like the original Blue Frame, the Blue Frame 2nd Revise can be equipped with the Scale System for aquatic missions.

The GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and piloted by Nicol Amalfi. The GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam is developed for the purpose of conducting surprise attacks deep behind enemy lines. It is the only unit among the five prototypes created under the Alliance's G Project to use the X200 series frame that is designed to support special systems. In this case, the Mirage Colloid Stealth System that renders Blitz invisible to both sensors and the naked eye. The suit is painted mainly black to enhance the effectiveness of the stealth system and is fitted with other systems to ensure the silent operation of internal mechanisms and systems, as well as to control the heat dissipation while cloaked. Like the other four units, Blitz is also equipped with Phase Shift armor system, but unlike them, it does not have any built-in weaponry like the CIWS. Its armament are all arm-mounted and consists of a grappling claw and an offensive shield system, which mounts both melee and range, beam as well as non-beam weapons.

The MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom is an upgraded variant of the MS-07B Gouf that was introduced shortly after the MS-09B Dom. It first appeared in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. During the deployment of the Gouf, its limited combat versatility became evident with its design concept of emphasis on hand-to-hand combat. Numerous disadvantages surfaced during operation on the battlefield, such as lack of flexibility due to the Gouf's fixed armament. The Gouf would be completely redesigned as the MS-07B-3, which was an improvement over the original. The Gouf Custom was designed with improved close quarters shooting and detachable weapons. It was designed primarily for ace pilots preferring a lighter mobile suit that could leap and jump as opposed to the heavy, yet effective MS-09B Dom.The Gouf Custom featured multiple changes to the MS-07B, including the elimination of the awkward five finger 75mm machine guns, replacing it with a normal manipulator and a wrist mounted 3-barrel 35mm Machine gun. The coil-like heat rod is replaced with a magnetic grappler wire that connects and disables an enemy with an electric charge rather than damaging them. The grappler wire could also be used as a repelling line that could slow or even halt the descent of a falling Gouf in the right conditions. The shield of the Gouf was modified so that it not only stored the Gouf's heat sword but is also capable of carrying a 75mm gatling gun, greatly enhancing the mobile suit's fire power.

The YMS-15 Gyan is a mobile suit that appears in the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam. The YMS-15 Gyan was developed by the Zimmad company in the late stages of the One Year War for the Principality of Zeon's second phase main mobile suit development project. It was designed with exceptional close combat ability in anticipation of melee combat against the Earth Federation's mobile suits. When needed, the Gyan can receive fire support from the MS-09B Doms or MS-09R Rick Doms. However, its focus on close combat resulted in lower versatility and this contributed to its loss to the Zeonic's MS-14 Gelgoog.A Gyan (depending on sources, this is either the sole unit produced or one of three produced units) was later customized for use by Colonel M'Quve of the Mobile Assault Force. A powerful beam saber serves as Gyan's primary weapon, it also has a shield with 60 needle missiles and 25 hide bombs (space mines) for laying traps. The appearance of the Gyan, with its silver armor and Pickelhaube helmet design, has a strong resemblance to a medieval armored knight. This is further emphasized by M'Quve's fighting style, which is heavily based on fencing.
