Shipping Policy
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Potential delays due to a high volume of orders or carrier issues will be announced on the home page and our Facebook Page. Be sure to follow our social media pages for the latest updates.
We currently only offer shipping to the lower 48 states in the United States.

Delivery Confirmation & Responsibility
Once an order has been shipped and the carrier’s tracking information shows the package as Delivered, the shipment is considered complete.
LA Scale Model is not responsible for packages after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier, including but not limited to theft, loss, or misplacement at the delivery location (such as a front porch, mailbox, or other unsecured area).
If a package is marked as delivered but not received, customers are encouraged to check with household members, neighbors, and the local carrier office. We will assist by contacting the carrier and filing an inquiry or claim when appropriate; however, replacement or refund is not guaranteed in cases where the carrier confirms delivery.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete.
- If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the package is delivered to that address, LA Scale Model is not responsible for loss or non-receipt.
- If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, reshipment will be at the customer’s expense.
Split Shipping
For orders containing multiple items with different availability dates (such as in-stock items combined with preorder items), the default shipping method is to ship all items together once the entire order is available.
If you would like available items to ship earlier, split shipping must be specifically requested. In some cases, we may reach out to confirm your preferred shipping option before proceeding.
If split shipping is requested or approved, a $7 split shipping fee applies per additional shipment. This means that each additional shipment beyond the first will incur a separate $7 fee.
For example, if an order contains three items that arrive at different times and you choose to ship items as they become available, a $7 fee would apply to the second shipment and another $7 fee would apply to the third shipment.
Shipment Rerouting & Reshipment
To request a shipment reroute, please contact us at info@purplestonetech.com. Note that not all packages are eligible for rerouting; eligibility is determined by the shipping carrier. If eligible, rerouting incurs a $10 fee per shipment.
In the event of a failed delivery that results in the package being returned to us, we will notify you once the return is received. You may then request reshipment or cancellation.
- If reshipment is requested, shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
- If the original order included a shipping fee, 80% of the original shipping cost will be charged for reshipment.
- For orders that qualified for free shipping, an 80% shipping charge will apply for reshipment.
If the order is canceled after a failed delivery, the original order amount will be refunded minus the original shipping cost.
Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. Refunds will be issued for the item price only; original shipping costs are non-refundable. Please review our full Return & Refund Policy.
If your order arrives damaged, please email us as soon as possible at info@purplestonetech.com with your order number and photos of the item’s condition. Damage claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and we will work with you toward a reasonable resolution.
