The ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior is a mobile suit used by ZAFT introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.

This Fatum-01 is an improved version of the original Justice's Fatum-00 with higher overall performance, it is armed with a pair of beam cannons and several beam blades. The suit can dock with the METEOR unit for additional firepower as well as speed, and can fire at multiple enemy units simultaneously using the Multi Lock-On System. As with the Justice, ∞ Justice is design to operate alongside another mobile suit, in this case, the Strike Freedom and is stationed on board the warship Eternal. Like the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam, the ∞ Justice is equipped with Neutron Jammer Canceller, Hyper-Deuterion Engine, and has joints as well as inner frame made of PS armor materials.The Hyper-Deuterion Engine is a new type of nuclear reactor and due to its massive output, the ∞ Justice has extremely high mobility and maneuverability. Meanwhile, the phase-shifting of its joints and inner frame as a result of the PS armor materials give them strength and near human flexibility while also enhancing the suit's combat abilities. Additionally, the ∞ Justice is able to discharge excess residual energy within the body through the joints' glowing effect, which is silver instead of Strike Freedom's gold. The ∞ Justice has a shorter V-fin than its predecessor as the performance of the sensor unit within the head crest has been greatly enhanced.

The MBF-02VV Gundam Astray Turn Red is a Mobile Suit appearing in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray R photonovel. The Gundam Astray Turn Red is a mobile suit created by Valerio Valeri for his own use. However, since the suit is fully controlled by the combat AI called "80", he does not need to do any actual piloting, although he still sits in the cockpit. The suit has a custom head unit and backpack. Its main body is constructed using MBF-P0X Gundam Astray Noir's spare parts and its body color is basically a reverse of MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame's (hence the suit's name).The Turn Red is usually armed with a pair of head-mounted CIWS and a pair of Tactical Arms on its back, but it can also be equipped with the same type of beam rifle, beam sabers and shield as the Red Frame. It also carries additional power packs for the Tactical Arms like MBF-P03secondL Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second L. The mobile suit is supposed to be used alongside CAT1-VGR Hyperion GR and CAT1-VGL Hyperion GL, both are commandeered by the Turn Red itself and serve as its protectors during battle. The Turn Red is installed with the Trio System to improve its cooperation with the other two AI-controlled suits.

The GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike is a prototype high mobility mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Its primary pilot was Kira Yamato before it was passed down to ace pilot Mu La Flaga. The AQM/E-X01 Aile Striker is the most commonly equipped Striker pack for the Strike as it provides the greatest versatility. Thanks to the powerful vernier thrusters built into the Aile Striker, the Strike Gundam becomes an all purpose combat mobile suit with enhanced speed and maneuverability compared to its base capabilities.Despite the strength of the thrusters, they do not perform well enough for true flight capabilities inside Earth's atmosphere. However, they do allow the Strike to glide in the air for a short time and enhance its jumping capabilities to the point that it can combat mobile suits on Guuls that are flying low. Besides the standard armament of the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, the Aile Striker pack adds a pair of beam sabers to the suit's armament.

The suit has full flight capabilities in the atmosphere and the back-mounted wings can be deployed in "High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT) Mode" to enhance its mobility in the atmosphere or in space. It also has an advanced targeting system, the Multi Lock-On System, that allows it to target and fire at multiple enemy units simultaneously. Due to its capabilities and loadout, the suit has a reputation as a specialized 'Mobile Suit Killer', but its high performance resulted in a complicated control system that demands extremely fast reaction speed and spatial awareness from its pilot.When required, the Freedom Gundam can dock with a support unit, the METEOR unit, for heavier firepower and greater speed. The Freedom Gundam has virtually unlimited combat endurance as it is equipped with a Neutron Jammer Canceller and powered by a nuclear reactor. Kira describes the suit as having over four times the power of the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. However, what this exactly means is unclear. Overall, it is one of the Clyne Faction's symbols of power, along with the Eternal, the Archangel, and the Justice.

The GAT-X102 Duel Gundam is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. It was piloted by Yzak Joule. The Duel Gundam is the first unit to be developed in the Earth Alliance's G Project series of prototype MS. Equipped with the new Phase Shift armor that makes it nearly impervious to most physical weapons, the Duel is designed as a general-purpose machine that has well-balanced performance, and also serves as a development base for the other MS in the project.The Duel's armament consists of two head-mounted "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS guns, which later become standard weaponry on most Earth Alliance's suits to intercept incoming missiles and closing in enemy units, two beam sabers stored on the backpack and hand-carried for use in close combat, a 57mm high-energy beam rifle with an attached 175mm grenade launcher for ranged combat, and an anti-beam coated shield for defense. Duel also has a rail bazooka as an optional weapon, but it was taken and used by MBF-P01 Gundam Astray Gold Frame to escape from Heliopolis.After being stolen by ZAFT and damaged in battle with the GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam, the suit is upgraded with the Assault Shroud. The Assault Shroud is a set of ejectable armor mounted on the Duel’s body to enhance overall combat performance. It adds a "Shiva" 115mm railgun to the right shoulder and a 220mm 5-barrel missile pod to the left shoulder for additional firepower, as well as various leg and backpack-mounted thrusters for better mobility. Although the equipment worked well in space, it performs poorly under gravity due to its bulk.

The ZGMF-1017 GINN is a mass-produced general purpose mobile suit introduced in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. ZAFT's first official mass-production mobile suit, the GINN was developed by the Heinlein Design Bureau, one of PLANT's state-run military design bureaus. It boasted higher versatility and expandability than its predecessor, the YMF-01B Proto GINN, and was capable of using a wide variety of weapons. While the GINN inherited much of its design from the Proto GINN, its mobility and maneuverability were greatly improved thanks to enhanced thrusters, including a pair of large backpack thrusters. The GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. It is piloted by Athrun Zala. Designated as the commander unit of the Alliance's G Project due to its enhanced communication and analysis capabilities, Aegis also has heavy attack power as well as Phase Shift armor and can transform into a mobile armor (MA) due to its X300-series frame. In MA mode, it has two different sub modes, 'Cruise' and 'Attack'. When in 'MA Cruise Mode', Aegis has higher speed and acceleration, while in 'MA Attack Mode', it can destroy enemy ship/mobile suit with its "Scylla" 580mm energy cannon directly or grab onto them with its four limbs first then destroy them using the cannon. Other weaponry includes two head-mounted CIWS, a hand-held beam rifle, a shield and a beam saber in each limb.Aegis also has a large sensor unit at the top of its head and unlike most suits, its main thrusters seem to be located in the side binders on its waist. Due to the transformation system, Aegis's internal structure is more complex and it is for this reason that there are no mass production variants of the suit. The three different modes (MS Mode, MA Cruise Mode and MA Attack Mode) also means that Aegis's pilot needs to have higher skills to be able to use the suit effectively.

The MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame is a Mobile Suit in the Gundam SEED Astray series of manga, novel and photonovel. It is piloted by Junk Guild member Lowe Guele. The MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame is one of five identical prototype mobile suits developed by Orb using stolen data from the Earth Alliance's G Project. Its original concept was to be a MS that could be piloted by Naturals, and it was eventually loaded with an incomplete Natural-use OS. Most of the technology from the G Project is successfully copied with the exception of Phase Shift armor. In its place, the Gundam Astrays' designers made the machines out of a lighter foam metal compound, with minimal armor over the frame. This made the mobile suits lighter and faster than their G Project counterparts. All five prototype Gundam Astrays are also designed with a backpack that can be lowered to the back skirt armor, allowing the mounting of additional equipment on the back.The Red Frame initially had the same armament as the other prototype Gundam Astrays, consisting of two head-mounted "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS, two backpack-mounted beam sabers for close combat, a Type 71 beam rifle and a physical shield. Red Frame's pilot, Lowe Guele, eventually acquired another armament - the "Gerbera Straight" katana. To wield this katana effectively, the Red Frame's OS was modified. Lowe also created a 150 meter long version of this sword, however it cannot be carried by the Red Frame in its normal configuration. Lowe also designed a set of upgrades for Red Frame, but they are used to repair Gai's damaged MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame instead. When there is a need for flight capability, Red Frame can be fitted with the Flight Unit and when it needs to dive underwater, it can use the Salvage Unit. After his return from Mars, Lowe developed the Caletvwlch and the Ddraig Head. The former is a multifunctional handheld equipment, while the latter is a special head unit designed to complement the former.Like other mobile suits that use beam weapons, the Red Frame is equipped with hand plugs to exchange energy with weapons the suit carries. Although considered a misuse of the system, the energy from the hand plug can be manipulated into an energy ball and discharged. This is often used by Lowe as an emergency weapon, for example to temporarily blind enemies. The mysterious organization, Librarian Works, later created a copy of the Red Frame. Known as Replica Red Frame, it has the same capabilities as the real Red Frame.

The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and is piloted by Rau Le Creuset. Like the other ZGMF-X series of Gundams created by ZAFT in CE 71, the Providence is equipped with Neutron Jammer Canceller and powered by a nuclear reactor. It is also armored with Phase Shift armor and features armaments reverse engineered from the stolen mobile suits of the Earth Alliance. Initially designed as a close combat unit with large beam sabers, the Providence is later changed into a DRAGOON system equipped unit when Rau Le Creuset is designated as its pilot and because it could be powered by the nuclear reactor, but it still retains the heavy armor of the former's design. As this change is made after the main body's design is completed, some of the new parts could not be integrated into the body. An example is the six quantum communication cables running from the backpack to the chest that are mounted externally due to lack of interior space. Though exposed, these cables still have solid protection as they are covered by Phase Shift armor.The DRAGOON system is the Providence's main weapon and is first tested on the YMF-X000A Dreadnought Gundam. It allows pilot with high spatial awareness, like Rau, to control multiple wireless guided weapon pods through quantum communication, hence enabling a single mobile suit to simultaneously battle with multiple enemies and attack from multiple directions, including its blindspot. The Providence's DRAGOON system is mounted on the large backpack and the hips, and includes 11 weapon pods that mount a total of 43 beam gun. Paired with the Multi Lock-On System, it is virtually impossible for these weapon pods to miss its mark. The suit's backpack has thrusters of different sizes to prevent loss of mobility caused by added weight of the DRAGOON Systems. It is powered by the new Hyper-Deuterion Engine, and is also equipped with the Neutron Jammer Canceler and the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system.Due to Kira's stellar piloting, his mobile suit is rarely hit during combat and thus Strike Freedom's design emphasizes maneuverability over its armor's defensive capabilities, though beam shields were installed as a compensatory defensive measure. As a result, its armor is split into smaller pieces to improve the movement range of the joints (a similar armor-splitting system was also implemented in ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam). Built on the X100 series frame first adopted by the GAT-X102 Duel Gundam, the Strike also has the Phase Shift armor system. In terms of armament, the Strike itself is equipped only with two head-mounted CIWS and a pair of combat knives stored in the side skirt armor, but it can also be armed with a bazooka, a shield, and a beam rifle. Most of the technology from the G Project is successfully copied with the exception of Phase Shift armor. In its place, the Gundam Astrays' designers made the machines out of a lighter foam metal compound, with minimal armor over the frame. This made the mobile suits lighter and faster than their G Project counterparts. All five prototype Gundam Astrays are also designed with a backpack that can be lowered to the back skirt armor, allowing the mounting of additional equipment on the back.

The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam (aka Strike Freedom, Freedom) is the successor of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam. Introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, it is piloted by Kira Yamato. A mobile suit tuned to meet Kira Yamato's needs, the Strike Freedom has Variable Phase Shift armor, and like its predecessor, ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, is primarily armed with powerful ranged weapons. Its armaments include head-mounted CIWS, an abdomen-mounted multi-phase beam cannon, hip-mounted railguns, combine-able beam sabers and beam rifles, DRAGOON pods controlled by the new Super DRAGOON system and beam shields. It is powered by the new Hyper-Deuterion Engine, and is also equipped with the Neutron Jammer Canceller and the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system.Due to Kira's stellar piloting, his mobile suit is rarely hit during combat and thus Strike Freedom's design emphasizes maneuverability over its armor's defensive capabilities, though beam shields were installed as a compensatory defensive measure. As a result, its armor is split into smaller pieces to improve the movement range of the joints (a similar armor-splitting system was also implemented in ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam). To compensate for exposing more of its internal parts, the suit's internal skeleton and joints adopted PS armor materials. When these parts phase-shift, they gain strength and near human flexibility. Additionally, excess residual energy within the body can be discharged through the joints' glowing effects.The internal PS armor materials also help to withstand the massive output and Gs caused by the Hyper Deuterion engine and the new propulsion system, playing a role in increasing Strike Freedom's mobility. However, the main contributor to the MS's superior mobility are the mobile weapon wings, which can be deployed in the "High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT)" Mode to enhance the suit's mobility in the atmosphere or in space. The wings also features a variant of the "Voiture Lumiere" propulsion system, which can generate a visual effect called the "Wings of the Skies" similar to ZGMF-X42S Destiny's Wings of Light and is used as a means of high speed movement.The Strike Freedom's Super DRAGOONs are based on ZAFT's second generation DRAGOON system, with additional unique modifications. Designed for Kira's use, they allow him to hit more targets at once using the Multi Lock-On System and Full Burst Mode as compared to when he was piloting the original Freedom. They also grant Kira the ability to hit the enemy from multiple directions remotely. Like the Freedom, Strike Freedom is designed to operate alongside another mobile suit, in this case, the ZGMF-X19A ∞ Justice Gundam and is stationed on board the warship Eternal. It also has full flight capabilities in the atmosphere and can dock with the METEOR unit to further augment its firepower.

The ZGMF-X56S/β Sword Impulse Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Shinn Asuka and later by Lunamaria Hawke. The ZGMF-X56S/β Sword Impulse is the ZGMF-X56S Impulse equipped with the β Sword Silhouette pack and is designed to serve as a close combat mobile suit. The Sword Silhouette pack adds two anti-ship laser swords, which can be combined into a larger double bladed sword, and a pair of beam boomerangs to the Impulse's standard armaments of two CIWS, two anti-armor knifes, a beam rifle and a shield. Thanks to the presence of the beam rifle, the suit has no problem engaging in range combat if required. The suit's VPS colors are different from that of the normal Impulse, and is now red, black and white.

The GAT-X103 Buster Gundam is a prototype artillery mobile suit introduced in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. It was piloted by Dearka Elsman. One of the five mobile suits developed as part of the Earth Alliance's G Project, the Buster Gundam is an artillery mobile suit and adopts the X100-series frame, similar to the one used by the GAT-X102 Duel Gundam. It has firepower rivaling that of a battleship and is meant to provide rear support for the other units and to attack enemy ships or facilities from a distance. Due to its role, the main sensor camera on Buster's head is very important and is protected with additional armor.Its primary armaments are the gun launcher and high-energy rifle, both are energy intensive and have their own sub-generators. They can also combine to form the more powerful anti-armor shotgun or the hyper-impulse long-range sniper rifle, with the improved firepower seemingly caused by the linkage of the sub-generators. Although the suit has no close combat weapon, it has a pair of shoulder-mounted missile pods that can be used to discourage enemy units from closing in. Like other units in the G Project, Buster has Phase Shift armor, making it nearly impervious to physical weapons.
