Description

The Bandai RG Evangelion Unit-01 (DX Transport Platform Set) is a Real Grade model kit from the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. This special edition set bundles the highly detailed RG Evangelion Unit-01 with a recreated transport platform, allowing builders to display the iconic pre-launch restraint scene from Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. As an RG kit with intricate construction and small parts, it is recommended for intermediate builders. Piloted by Shinji Ikari, Unit-01 is the flagship Evangelion and the first Eva to join Bandai's Real Grade lineup.

Key Features

  • Linked-Joint Construction: Intricate parts construction replicates the relaxation and contraction of muscle fibers for realistic humanoid articulation, including spine and shoulder blade linkage to armor parts.
  • DX Transport Platform: Includes a detailed transport platform that attaches to the shoulder pylons and arms to recreate the high-speed launch scene from the source material.
  • A.T. Field Effect Part: A PET material A.T. Field effect part and dedicated AT Field penetration hand parts are included to recreate the iconic breakthrough scene.
  • Extensive Articulation: Elbows and knees bend up to approximately 165 degrees, the torso bends via multiple joints, the mouth opens and closes, and the head tilts, rotates, and moves forward and backward.
  • Entry Plug and Umbilical Cable: The Entry Plug can be inserted and removed through the nape, and the umbilical cable attaches to both the unit and the transport platform.
  • Multi-Color Molding: Parts are molded in accurate separate colors with multi-injection runners, achieving faithful color separation right out of the box with minimal sticker use.
  • Progressive Knife Storage: Shoulder pylons open to store the folded progressive knives, just like in the anime.
