The Bandai Full Mechanics 1/100 GAT-X252 Forbidden Gundam is a snap-fit plastic model kit from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. This kit is the first-ever 1/100 scale rendition of the Forbidden Gundam and completes the Earth Alliance Boosted Man trio alongside the Calamity Gundam and Raider Gundam in the Full Mechanics line. The Full Mechanics grade offers high-density mechanical detail while maintaining ease of assembly, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate builders. Released in August 2023 as part of the Gundam SEED 20th anniversary celebration, the kit features new tooling with the latest design arrangements and structural engineering.Key Features MS-to-High-Speed Assault Form Transformation: A fully integrated transformation mechanism allows the backpack to flip over the head, converting the Forbidden Gundam into its High-Speed Assault Form with minimal part swapping. Geschmeidig Panzer Energy Deflection Armor: The two large shield units feature flexible multi-axis arms that can be adjusted and deployed into various positions. Nidhoggr Heavy Scythe: The signature scythe weapon features two types of surface finishes on the blade to express different textures. High-Density Mechanical Detail: Dense mechanical molding extends to the inside of exhaust ports and the undersides of armor panels for a realistic appearance. Energy Cable Reproduction: The energy cables connecting from the backpack are reproduced using included vinyl tubes for a realistic flexible look. Extensive Articulation: Double-jointed elbows and knees, ball-and-socket head joint, 360-degree waist rotation, sliding hip joints, and movable skirt armor enable dynamic posing.
