MG 1/100 GN-003 Gundam Kyrios
Bandai
$61.00The GN-003 Gundam Kyrios (aka Gundam Kyrios, Kyrios) is a mobile suit featured in season one of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and is piloted by Allelujah Haptism. In AD 2307, the paramilitary organization, Celestial Being, deployed four third-generation Gundams with the objective of eradicating world conflicts through armed interventions. The Gundam Kyrios is one of them and its most prominent feature is a transformation mechanism for switching between MS Form (also known as "MS Mode") and Flight Form (also known as "Flight Mode", "Flight Position") which was tested by its predecessor, the second-generation GNY-003 Gundam Abulhool. The Kyrios' mobility and maneuverability are greatly enhanced in Flight Form, exceeding those of the other Gundams and mobile suits utilized by the three major powers. The transformation mechanism also grants high operability, allowing Kyrios to carry another mobile suit on top during Flight Form and a partial transformation where its upper body turns into that of the MS Form's is also possible. Like its fellow Gundams, Kyrios has a semi-perpetual GN Drive in the center of its body that provides almost limitless energy and produces special, multifunctional GN Particles.Mobile suits capable of switching between MS and Flight Forms are also deployed by two major powers, but they are not designed with mid-air transformation in mind like Kyrios. The old VMS-15 Union Realdo and AEU-05 AEU Hellion (belonging to the Union and AEU respectively) have incomplete transformation mechanisms, requiring parts swapping in designated facilities to operate in the different forms; although their respective successor, the SVMS-01 Union Flag and AEU-09 AEU Enact, can transform in mid-air, this is achieved through a piloting technique known as "Graham Maneuver" (also known as "Graham Special") and not an inherent feature. On the other hand, the Kyrios has a complete transformation mechanism enabled by a control system using the special GN Particles. As a result, not only can Kyrios freely transform within and outside of the atmosphere, it also gains mobility, maneuverability and versatility that greatly surpassed those of other mobile suits with Flight Forms. It should be noted that Kyrios' transformation still requires some degree of piloting skills, but can theoretically be performed by anyone. The Kyrios' cockpit is similar to other Gundams', but the control system differs due to its Flight Form and the pilot seat can rotate to match the different forms. Another feature that takes into account the Flight Form's design is the mounting of Kyrios' main thrusters, a pair of GN Verniers, on the outer side of each leg. Such a layout is rare for Gundams, where the main thrusters are often located on the back and waist, and ensures the verniers face backward to generate high thrust during Kyrios' Flight Form. The GN Verniers create thrust by releasing GN Particles, and have a mechanism whereby their cores are revealed when being activated and when increasing their output. While all Gundams can fly due to the use of GN Particles, only Kyrios can achieve high-speed flight due to its more aerodynamic shape while in Flight Form. Various sensors are built into the Flight Form's nose unit, giving it high detection capabilities. Due to the nose unit and stabilizer being folded onto the back while in MS Form, the conical rear cover of the Kyrios' GN Drive has a flatter end than the other Gundams'.Light purple-colored "GN Cables" in various body locations facilitate the supply of GN Particles to each part of the Kyrios and for attitude control purposes via the particles' mass manipulation ability. These GN Particles are also utilized for beam weaponry, generation of defensive GN Field barrier, and stealth purposes as they can cause electromagnetic interference, leaving conventional communications and radar devices useless. Additionally, by maximizing its particle emission and deploying them in front of itself, Kyrios can conduct atmospheric entry on its own. This is because the emitted particles can shield the Kyrios from the aerodynamic heating caused by the adiabatic compression during the entry process. A pair of torso-mounted clavicle antennas serves as the primary control device for these special particles, and GN Condensers are placed throughout the body to store excess particles, ensuring a reserve that the Kyrios can rely on when its operation consumed more particles than what the GN Drive can produce instantaneously. All these GN Particles related features are also found on the other Gundams.Compared to other Gundams, Kyrios' armament configuration is simple and consisted of GN Beam Submachine Gun, GN Shield, GN Beam Sabers and GN Vulcans, but its high mobility enabled it to display high combat capabilities. It can also mount optional weapons in the form of GN Hand Missile Units, Tail Unit equipped with various missiles and air-to-surface bombs, and Tail Booster with large GN Verniers and GN Cannons. Its MS Form has a balance of ranged and melee combat capabilities, with destructive power comparable to its fellow Gundams, while its Flight Form excels at high-speed hit-and-run attacks. With the Tail Unit attached, the Flight Form can adapt to a variety of missions, and when fitted with the Tail Booster instead, the Flight Form's mobility and firepower are boosted. Like its fellow Gundams, the Kyrios can activate the "Trans-Am System" during an emergency, boosting its thrust and defensive strength, as well as increase its output to three times that of its normal specifications for a limited time period. The Kyrios also glows red as a side-effect, but this system is a double-edged sword as the machine's performance drops dramatically once it ends.Optional add-on equipment was also developed, namely the Gust equipment that changes Kyrios into the GN-003/af-G02 Gundam Kyrios Gust, which has enhanced mobility, long-range attack capabilities and can operate at up to 600km in the thermosphere. Celestial Being was defeated by the UN Forces in AD 2308 and the HRL acquired the wrecked Kyrios, minus its GN Drive that was ejected prior to capture. A reborn Celestial Being then surfaced in AD 2312 with new Gundams including the transformable GN-007 Arios Gundam, Kyrios' successor with superior specifications. Around the same time, the Earth Sphere Federation's autonomous peacekeeping force, the A-Laws, deployed the new GNX-704T Ahead developed by former HRL engineers; these engineers were selected as the developers partly because the HRL seemingly gained an edge in mobile suit development through the tests they conducted on the Kyrios. Feedback from the data of the captured Kyrios was later utilized by former AEU and Union engineers in the development of the transformable GNX-903VS Brave (Standard Test Type) and its commander variant, which were deployed by the Earth Sphere Federation in AD 2314.
MG 1/100 GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam
Bandai
$59.00 $41.30The GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. It is piloted by Athrun Zala. Designated as the commander unit of the Alliance's G Project due to its enhanced communication and analysis capabilities, Aegis also has heavy attack power as well as Phase Shift armor and can transform into a mobile armor (MA) due to its X300-series frame. In MA mode, it has two different sub modes, 'Cruise' and 'Attack'. When in 'MA Cruise Mode', Aegis has higher speed and acceleration, while in 'MA Attack Mode', it can destroy enemy ship/mobile suit with its "Scylla" 580mm energy cannon directly or grab onto them with its four limbs first then destroy them using the cannon. Other weaponry includes two head-mounted CIWS, a hand-held beam rifle, a shield and a beam saber in each limb.Aegis also has a large sensor unit at the top of its head and unlike most suits, its main thrusters seem to be located in the side binders on its waist. Due to the transformation system, Aegis's internal structure is more complex and it is for this reason that there are no mass production variants of the suit. The three different modes (MS Mode, MA Cruise Mode and MA Attack Mode) also means that Aegis's pilot needs to have higher skills to be able to use the suit effectively.
MG 1/100 RGM-89 Jegan
Bandai
$49.00The RGM-89 Jegan is a mass-produced general-purpose mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. A state-of-the-art machine adopted by the Earth Federation Forces in U.C. 0089 as its main force mobile suit, the Jegan comes from the lineage of the RGM-79 GM as inferred by its "RGM" model number. However, it was not developed by the Earth Federation Forces' own engineers like most previous RGM series mobile suit. Instead, it was produced and supplied by the Anaheim Electronics (AE). Created through combining the Earth Federation Forces' expertise of the GM series with AE's MS development technologies, the Jegan's performance is significantly higher than the RGM-86R GM III. It also has improved productivity due to the use of Titanium Alloy Ceramic Composite armor, as well as high operability, and excellent versatility. All these allows it to become the "next-generation standard MS", and it operated as the main force MS for a long period of time. Several variations of the MS were also developed. The original Jegan is sometimes referred to as "Jegan Type-A" to differentiate it from later variants, and should not be confused with the later RGM-89R Jegan A-Type.The Jegan highly exemplified the original concept of MS being "mobile infantry for melee combat", and is designed for close combat in and around space colonies. It can also operate under gravity without any modifications. With a backpack containing a single main thruster, two small thrusters at the bottom, and two articulated vernier arms at the top, the Jegan's thrust and acceleration performance could match-high mobility-type machines from the Gryps War-era. Its backpack also featured exchangeable propellant tanks. Also notable are the verniers for attitude controls on the front shoulder armor, enlarged centre shoulder armor sections to fit the side thrusters, and a calf-mounted thruster on each leg. The use of lightened armor grants the machine high maneuverability, its front skirt armor is removed to maintain the legs' range of articulation, while its head has a long-range sensor installed in the forehead in addition to the fixed main sensors. The Jegan is armed with mainly short-range weaponry, including a beam saber, a short-range type beam rifle, three hand grenades, a vulcan pod system, and a shield with twin missile launchers.
MG 1/100 ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam
Bandai
$61.00The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and is piloted by Rau Le Creuset. Like the other ZGMF-X series of Gundams created by ZAFT in CE 71, the Providence is equipped with Neutron Jammer Canceller and powered by a nuclear reactor. It is also armored with Phase Shift armor and features armaments reverse engineered from the stolen mobile suits of the Earth Alliance. Initially designed as a close combat unit with large beam sabers, the Providence is later changed into a DRAGOON system equipped unit when Rau Le Creuset is designated as its pilot and because it could be powered by the nuclear reactor, but it still retains the heavy armor of the former's design. As this change is made after the main body's design is completed, some of the new parts could not be integrated into the body. An example is the six quantum communication cables running from the backpack to the chest that are mounted externally due to lack of interior space. Though exposed, these cables still have solid protection as they are covered by Phase Shift armor. The DRAGOON system is the Providence's main weapon and is first tested on the YMF-X000A Dreadnought Gundam. It allows pilot with high spatial awareness, like Rau, to control multiple wireless guided weapon pods through quantum communication, hence enabling a single mobile suit to simultaneously battle with multiple enemies and attack from multiple directions, including its blindspot. The Providence's DRAGOON system is mounted on the large backpack and the hips, and includes 11 weapon pods that mount a total of 43 beam gun. Paired with the Multi Lock-On System, it is virtually impossible for these weapon pods to miss its mark. The suit's backpack has thrusters of different sizes to prevent loss of mobility caused by added weight of the DRAGOON Systems. Other armaments of the suit include four CIWS guns, a shield with two beam guns and a large beam saber, and a hand-carried large beam rifle. It was considered one of the most powerful mobile suits in C.E.71.
MG 1/100 Zeta Gundam Ver 2.0
Bandai
$56.00The MSΖ-006 Zeta Gundam (MSΖ-006 Ζゼータ ガンダム?) is the titular mobile suit of the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam television series and also featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ television series. It was piloted by one of its designers, Kamille Bidan, during the Gryps Conflict , and then Judau Ashta in the First Neo Zeon War.The Zeta Gundam is a high-performance, next-generation MS constructed by Anaheim Electronics in partnership with the AEUG as part of the "Project Zeta". This project aimed to develop a transformable mobile suit capable of operating in space and on earth, but it stagnated due to problems with the strength of the movable frame. Progress was later made when Anaheim Electronics studied the movable frame of the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II units stolen by AEUG from the Titans. The main feature of the Zeta Gundam is its ability to instantly transform into a streamlined Waverider mode, which can fly at high speed in space as well as in the atmosphere. The Zeta Gundam can also function as a sub-flight system in this mode, carrying another mobile suit on its top surface. Furthermore, this mode also allows the Zeta Gundam to ride the shockwaves of atmospheric re-entry, thus it can enter the atmosphere without the use of the Ballute System, a bowl-shaped balloon parachute that protects a mobile suit from the friction heat of atmospheric entry. This atmospheric re-entry capability is thanks to the incorporation of the Flying Armor into the mobile suit's back (bottom in waverider mode), which is developed using the data of the Gundam Mk-II's FXA-00 Flying Armor. The Zeta Gundam is armored with the new lightweight Gundarium Gamma alloy, and has a variety of weaponry that includes two head-mounted vulcan guns, two beam sabers stored in the side armor that function as beam guns in Waverider mode, two forearm-mounted grenade launchers, a beam rifle with retractable barrel, and a shield. When higher firepower is required, it can use the powerful hyper mega launcher. The Zeta Gundam is also one of the first mobile suit to use the Bio-Sensor, a variant of the Psycommu system that allows a Newtype pilot to more easily interface with his mobile suit via mental commands. The Zeta Gundam is said to have received various upgrades from its initial model, such as the Initial Model + Wave Shooter, mid-model (major upgrade done in December UC 0087, most notable change being the rear skirt thrusters and addition of forearm grenade hatches) and the late model (final upgrade made in March UC 0088 consisting of Zeta Plus parts).
MG 1/100 Heavyarms Ver. EW
Bandai
$44.00 $39.60The XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms (aka Heavyarms or Gundam Zero-Three) is a mobile suit from the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. It was the third of Operation Meteor's five Gundams, and was piloted by a young man operating under the pseudonym Trowa Barton. Created by Gundam Scientist Doktor S, the Heavyarms was developed in the L3 Colonies under the financial support of the Barton Foundation. The Heavyarms is a long-range attack unit with a variety of built-in firearms. Its design is a combination of the firepower aspect of the Wing Gundam Zero with an emphasis on overwhelming suppressive fire. Its overall firepower is comparable to 3 to 5 battleships', but its attack power drops drastically once it run out of ammunition. However, with the skilled circus performer Trowa's excellent piloting sense, the Heavyarms is capable of acrobatic melee combat.
MGEX 1/100 ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam
Bandai
$166.00The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam (aka Strike Freedom, Freedom) is the successor of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Kira Yamato. A mobile suit tuned to meet Kira Yamato's needs, the Strike Freedom has Variable Phase Shift armor, and like its predecessor, ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, is primarily armed with powerful ranged weapons. Its armaments include head-mounted CIWS, an abdomen-mounted multi-phase beam cannon, hip-mounted railguns, combine-able beam sabers and beam rifles, DRAGOON pods controlled by the new Super DRAGOON system and beam shields. It is powered by the new Hyper-Deuterion Engine, and is also equipped with the Neutron Jammer Canceller and the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system.Due to Kira's stellar piloting, his mobile suit is rarely hit during combat and thus Strike Freedom's design emphasizes maneuverability over its armor's defensive capabilities, though beam shields were installed as a compensatory defensive measure. As a result, its armor is split into smaller pieces to improve the movement range of the joints (a similar armor-splitting system was also implemented in ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam). To compensate for exposing more of its internal parts, the suit's internal skeleton and joints adopted PS armor materials. When these parts phase-shift, they gain strength and near human flexibility. Additionally, excess residual energy within the body can be discharged through the joints' glowing effects. The internal PS armor materials also help to withstand the massive output and Gs caused by the Hyper Deuterion engine and the new propulsion system, playing a role in increasing Strike Freedom's mobility. However, the main contributor to the MS's superior mobility are the mobile weapon wings, which can be deployed in the "High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT)" Mode to enhance the suit's mobility in the atmosphere or in space. The wings also features a variant of the "Voiture Lumiere" propulsion system, which can generate a visual effect called the "Wings of the Skies" similar to ZGMF-X42S Destiny's Wings of Light and is used as a means of high speed movement. The Strike Freedom's Super DRAGOONs are based on ZAFT's second generation DRAGOON system, with additional unique modifications. Designed for Kira's use, they allow him to hit more targets at once using the Multi Lock-On System and Full Burst Mode as compared to when he was piloting the original Freedom. They also grant Kira the ability to hit the enemy from multiple directions remotely. Like the Freedom, Strike Freedom is designed to operate alongside another mobile suit, in this case, the ZGMF-X19A ∞ Justice Gundam and is stationed on board the warship Eternal. It also has full flight capabilities in the atmosphere and can dock with the METEOR unit to further augment its firepower.
MG 1/100 RX-77-2 Guncannon
Bandai
$32.00The RX-77-2 Guncannon was a mobile suit used by the Earth Federation Forces introduced in the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam. A middle-range support mobile suit developed simultaneously with the RX-78 Gundam and the RX-75 Guntank as part of Operation V, the Guncannon adopted the same Core Block System as the other two units. Due to its role as an artillery support unit, the Guncannon's design prioritized durability over mobility, and it was not equipped with any melee weapons. However, its armor was particularly heavy, capable of surviving a direct hit from a MS-09R Rick Dom's giant bazooka.Similar to the Guntank, the Guncannon's main weapons were a pair of shell-firing cannons, chosen for their reliability over beam weapons. These cannons could be optionally swapped out for a pair of spray missile launchers. Unlike the Guntank, however, the Guncannon's generator output allowed it to equip a beam rifle. It was also equipped with a pair of head-mounted vulcan guns and hand grenades for attacking enemy strongholds.Though its head design appeared to be simpler than the Gundam's head, the Guncannon's sensor system was in fact more complicated than the Gundam's due to its need to engage in artillery warfare. This "twin eyes with goggles" sensor design was later inherited by the RGM-79 GM. While the Guncannon's mobility was adversely affected by its weight, it was still comparable to that of the Zeon's MS-06 Zaku II. Furthermore, the backpack thrusters have sufficient thrust to enable jumping maneuvers under gravity for a short period of time.
MG 1/100 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee
Bandai
$57.00The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (aka Banshee) is a mobile suit that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. It is built alongside its brother unit, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, under the Earth Federation's UC Project. Originally piloted by Marida Cruz, it was later assigned to Riddhe Marcenas. After its completion alongside the Unicorn Gundam, the Banshee was eventually stationed on Earth with the Augusta Research Lab and tested for atmospheric combat. Rather than that of a Unicorn, the Banshee's motif is that of a lion, illustrated with gold accents on the forehead, a golden collar to signify a lion's mane (the Banshee originally had the same collar as the Unicorn but this was changed after it suffered damages while battling in space), and a much more elaborate horn/V-fin.The Banshee's armor is almost entirely black, and its psycho-frame emits a golden-orange glow when the NT-D is activated. Although the Banshee lacks the Unicorn's distinctive La+ System, its performance in atmospheric combat is vastly superior, presumably because of a significant reconfiguring of the suit's operating system to account for Earth's gravity and the atmosphere's frictional resistance.Combat improvements were made according to Unicorn Gundam's battle data, which had been relayed to the Augusta Research Lab. However, the two Gundams have no major operating differences. Aside from lacking the Unicorn's La+ operating system, the Banshee's raw performance is equal to that of the Unicorn. In other words, any modification to the Banshee (i.e. atmospheric combat performance) could also be applied to the Unicorn, making both suits equal in ability. In the anime version, it weighs more than Unit 1 and has a larger effective sensor radius. Its armament also differs from that of Unit 1, as it is equipped with the added psycho-frame armaments "Armed Armor BS" and "Armed Armor VN", granting it better continuous battle capability than Unit 1, and it is said to have a higher degree of completion.
MG 1/100 MSN-04 SAZABI Ver.Ka
Bandai
$120.00 $117.00The MSN-04 Sazabi is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. It is piloted by Char Aznable. After Char Aznable returned as the leader of his own Neo Zeon faction in U.C. 0093, he ordered his engineers to create a new mobile suit that would fit his piloting skills and Newtype powers. The result was the MSN-04 Sazabi, which was later built by the Luna-based contractor Anaheim Electronics. With an overall height of 25.6 meters, the Sazabi is much bigger than most standard mobile suits, but thanks to the use of lightweight armor materials and a great number of thrusters it is much faster and more maneuverable than other suits. The suit is armed with an abdomen-mounted scattering mega particle cannon, a beam shot rifle, a pair of beam sabers stored in the arms, and a shield with three missiles as well as a beam tomahawk.Because Char is a Newtype, the Sazabi was also equipped with six funnels which the pilot could control through his psycowaves via a Psycommu system. The Sazabi was also the first MS to be equipped with the revolutionary new psycho frame cockpit. This system featured microscopic psycommu receiver circuits installed throughout a mobile suit's internal frame and cockpit walls. These tiny circuits amplify and transmit a Newtype pilot's psycowaves, enabling the mobile suit to respond instantaneously to mental commands.
MG 1/100 Mobile Suit RX-93 Nu Gundam Ver.Ka
Bandai
$90.00 $82.00The ν Gundam is one of the most advanced mobile suits during the Second Neo Zeon War in U.C. 0093, together with Char Aznable's MSN-04 Sazabi, it is used by Amuro Ray who also came up with its basic design. It was manufactured at Anaheim Electronics' Von Braun plant and completed in a short period of time (about three months) under the supervision of chief engineer October Saran. Its design is based on the average specification values of each successive generation of Gundam-type units from the original RX-78-2 Gundam to the MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam and updated with state-of-the-art technologies introduced at the time. Various test data collected from the ARX-014P Silver Bullet (Funnel Test Type), the YRA-90A μ Gundam, and the RX-9 Narrative Gundam were also used in its development. The ν Gundam's design focuses on versatility and operational aspects, as well as emphasizes on reliability and durability for protracted battles. It adopts unitized parts that are designed according to EFF standards, except for the Psycho-Frame, for easier procurement of parts and materials and reducing special components as much as possible. It can be easily repaired due to maintenance feedback and combat data. In addition, it reflects Amuro Ray's experience as an MS pilot cultivated over the years.Incorporating the Psycho-Frame technology secretly provided to Anaheim Electronics by Char Aznable of Neo Zeon, the ν Gundam was able to utilize Psycommu weapons and channel the emotions and mental energies of a Newtype pilot. It is also the first Gundam-type machine to be equipped with Funnels, and a newly developed MS control program is installed to account for the ν Gundam's center of mass during the separation and movement of the Funnels. Despite its short development time, the ν Gundam proved itself to be a formidable mobile suit and when combined with legendary ace pilot Amuro Ray's immense skill and experience, this powerful, state-of-the-art machine was able to almost single-handedly hold back the whole Neo Zeon force, and its Psycho-Frame was put to the test to determine the history of humanity living on earth.
MG 1/100 Celestial Being Mobile Suit GNT-0000 QAN[T]
Bandai
$55.00The GNT-0000 00 Qan[T] (aka 00Q, 00 Qan[T], pronounced "Double-Oh Quanta") is the successor to the GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie: Awakening of the Trailblazer. It is piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei.A fifth Generation Gundam designed and tuned specifically for Celestial Being's first Innovator, Gundam Meister Setsuna F. Seiei, 00 Qan[T] is the latest mobile suit (MS) designed by Celestial Being. Its blueprints originated from an Innovators draft and were sent over from Veda/Tieria (with level 7 clearance) for Celestial Being engineers to analyze and develop. As the successor to GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser, 00 Qan[T] contains an upgraded and improved Twin Drive System and possesses the new Quantum System. Whereas Zabanya and Harute were developed using parts from their predecessors, 00 Qan[T]'s was made as a new mobile suit. The development resources and focus used on 00 Qan[T] are of a higher level than the other two.The unit possesses two newly created GN Drives specifically made for its Twin Drive System. The drives are located on its back and underneath the shield respectively and were developed by a team led by Linda Vashti at Jupiter. As these newly made solar furnaces are developed with perfect synchronization in mind, no external help with stabilization is required, thus 00 Qan[T] does not need a support unit such as 0 Raiser like 00 Gundam did. They can also be directly connected with each other which would result in a higher sync rate and output, however, when used this way they become extremely hard to control. To prevent unexpected problems, they are usually kept separate. The Quantum System is also the successor to 00 Raiser's Trans-Am Burst System, which allows Setsuna to expand his quantum brainwaves. It creates a massive quantum field that extends an Innovator's consciousness to communicate with sentient minds for advanced communications. To activate the system, the Innovator pilot's quantum brainwaves must be active. Once scanned, the two GN Drives connect. Finally, large portions of Qan[T]'s armor is purged, and the condensers within the limbs and the GN Drive core extend beyond the frame of the suit.Like its predecessors (the Exia and 00), 00 Qan[T] is a close combat-oriented mobile suit. Its primary weapon is the GN Sword V, the latest in the line of dual-functioning weapons that can alternate between sword and rifle modes. A GN Shield is mounted over the left shoulder in a similar fashion to one of the GN-0000 00 Gundam's GN Drives. The shield itself can deploy 6 GN Sword Bits (stored on the sides of the shield) which serve many functions but are primarily remote blades. The Sword Bits can be attached to the GN Sword V to form either a powerful buster sword or a buster rifle for combat. For added defense, 00 Qan[T] can deploy a GN Field by placing the 6 Sword Bits in a closed spherical formation and can activate the Trans-Am System to enhance its overall capabilities.00 Qan[T] can quantize like 00 Raiser, but with improvements over the original, it is now able to execute this function at will. Unlike 00 Raiser, 00 Qan[T] is capable of quantizing not only for short distances, but all the way across the universe, which was shown when it teleported to the ELS homeworld on the far side of another galaxy. 00 Qan[T]'s Sword Bits have the ability to form a portal and aid in the process. This similar function is also present in GNW-100A Sakibure which appeared 50 years after the end of the movie. The headpiece of the 00 Qan[T] acts as a controlling device for the Sword Bits. The particle-controlling capabilities of the antennae have yet again improved, allowing the 00 Qan[T] to communicate using Quantum Brainwave interfacing. Ian Vashti has designed the head of the 00 Qan[T] to resemble Setsuna's previous Gundams, the GN-001 Gundam Exia, and the GN-0000 00 Gundam. The arm parts of the 00 Qan[T] were made to allow the 00 Qan[T] to wield it's close combat weapons to the fullest. The wrist joints were made to be so flexible that they actually could move like a human arm. The GN Condensers located within the arms have been improved, allowing GN Particles to be transferred to the weapons more smoothly and effectively than the 00 Raiser's condensers. The leg parts of the 00 Qan[T] have built-in AMBAC (Active Mass Balance Auto-Control) capabilities to allow it to achieve high maneuverability in zero-G conditions. The knee joints of the 00 Qan[T] were made to be as fluid in motion as a real human knee, with GN condensers located in them, which also improved. Some parts of the legs were developed from the GNZ series, while other parts bore massive improvements to the original parts from the 00. The remaining parts were derived from other GN Drive-equipped mobile suits.Being Celestial Being's most advanced MS to date, the 00 Qan[T] is so powerful that it could possibly have eliminated the entire ELS attack force single-handedly had Setsuna chosen not to communicate with them. However, it should be noted that this is just a hypothetical calculation by Veda. It excludes important factors such as ELS' healing abilities, and the physical impossibility of the pilot fighting without food or rest over a whole week of constant battling, making it a very difficult feat to achieve nevertheless.
MG 1/100 Destiny Gundam Extreme Blast Mode
Bandai
$72.00The ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam is the titular mobile suit of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny and was piloted by Shinn Asuka. A straight-built Gunpla version is piloted by Shimon Izuna in Gundam Build Fighters Try. The ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam is a high performance general-purpose MS commissioned by ZAFT Chairman Gilbert Durandal, who ordered it to be incorporated with the most advanced technology of the time, including technologies banned by the Junius Treaty. Based on the ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam and Shinn Asuka's combat data, it is designed to handle any combat situations with a single set of varied armament, a concept first tested on the ZGMF-X56S/θ Destiny Impulse. For close combat, it has two beam boomerangs that double as beam sabers, a pair of palm beam cannons, and a large beam sword. For ranged battle, it is equipped with a long-range beam cannon and a beam rifle. For defense, it mounts a small physical shield as well as two beam shield generators. Lastly, the suit has a standard set of CIWS.For the Destiny Gundam to use its variety of weapons effectively and quickly, it needs to have a wider range of body movements as well as be more flexible. To achieve a wider range of body movements, the suit's basic structural components are split into smaller, movable pieces, while its armor is divided into smaller pieces in a manner similar to that of the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam's. The exposed gaps in the armor due to smaller armor pieces are remedied by mapping out the ranges of motion of the frame using Shinn's combat performance to determine the most efficient way to separate the armor parts. This ensures the wider range of body movements do not compromise defensive power. To be more flexible, the Destiny's joints are constructed of the same materials found in Phase Shift armor. This allows the joints to possess near-human flexibility when phase-shifted and a faint metallic glow is produced when discharging excess residual energy within the body through the joints. Through these measures, the suit met its requirements, however, various problems remain to be solved, including maintenance problems and production issues.Other special aspects are the Destiny's use of the new Voiture Lumiere propulsion system and the use of Mirage Colloid to create illusionary copies of itself. Destiny's Voiture Lumiere propulsion system is installed in the wings, which are improved version of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam's wings, and will produce a special light effect known as Wings of Light during high speed movements. The Voiture Lumiere propulsion system is frequently used alongside the Mirage Colloid to confuse the enemy as the real Destiny sets up for a high-speed attack. Like the ZGMF-X666S Legend Gundam, the Destiny Gundam is powered by the Hyper-Deuterion Engine and armored with Variable Phase Shift armor. Although classified as a "Second Stage Series" mobile suit, as indicated by the "S" in its model code, the Destiny should be a "Third Stage Series" instead based on its performance. This is done to hide the fact that it is a nuclear-powered suit and should have an "A" instead.
MG 1/100 00 Raiser Celestial Being GN-0000+GNR-010
Bandai
$75.00 $70.00The GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser (aka 00 Raiser) is the combined form of GN-0000 00 Gundam and GNR-010 0 Raiser in season 2 of Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Setsuna F. Seiei pilots the 00 Gundam and Saji Crossroad pilots the 0 Raiser, however, when combined Setsuna can operate both units himself. Despite its power, the GN-0000 00 Gundam is a highly experimental unit that suffers from power instability issues and so requires constant maintenance and fine-tuning. The Twin Drive System was also a very new technology, requiring the external stabilizing equipment on 00's main support unit, the GNR-010 0 Raiser, to safely execute Trans-Am and fully synchronize the GN Drives. Some data from GN-XXX+GNR-000 Sefer Rasiel was also exploited in its development. When combining is needed, laser guidance sensors would mutually lock onto each other, with a Haro auto-configuring the docking sequence. 0 Raiser's binders detach from the 0 Raiser body and latch onto 00's GN Drives, and its main body combines with the 00 Gundam's backpack, resulting in an angelic-like form. After successful docking, 00 Gundam's system screen(s) reflect the changes to the frame and the Twin Drive's stabilization. Each of 0 Raiser's binders can be mounted with a GN Shield to increase it's defensive capabilities, this form can remain the same even when docked onto 00 Gundam's GN Drive housing units. Without the GN Shields attached, the binders also act as shields themselves, capable of blocking beam shots from GNZ-003 Gadessa's GN Mega Launcher in Trans-Am mode.As the 00 Raiser the Twin Drive reaches 100% synchronization rate, it can achieve GN Particle generation rates far exceeding 300% during Trans-Am(700% during the first dock), and also gains the usage of the Raiser System. These feats allow 00 Raiser to fully harness its massive particle production (too much for the 00's frame to properly handle alone) and perform at peak capacity. While in Trans-Am, 00 Raiser has also been seen utilizing quantum teleportation in a few battles although the specific activation and control mechanism has not been elaborated upon. The Raiser System allows the 00 Raiser to execute powerful attacks such as a massive GN Beam Saber dubbed the "Raiser Sword", allowing for greater close combat abilities, and using Trans-Am mode with even greater power and duration. Originally requiring both of its GN Swords working with the 0 Raiser's binders to produce and control the Raiser Sword, the 00 was later equipped with a GN Sword III. This weapon was capable of harnessing the power of the Raiser System to generate a refined, more controllable version of the Raiser Sword. The power of 00 Raiser is further enhanced with the presence of an Innovator pilot. Once such a being is detected the Twin Drive can execute Trans-Am Burst, a massive flood of purified GN Particles across a massive area. With the Twin Drive's full abilities in constant demand to combat the A-Laws and Innovators, 00 Raiser became the mainstay unit to effectively combat opposing MS. Overall, 00 Raiser is a mobile suit that exceeds the performance of all others, surpassing the very concept of "Gundam".
MG 1/100 Gundam Dynames Celestial Being GN-002
Bandai
$47.00The GN-002 Gundam Dynames (aka Gundam Dynames, Dynames) is a mobile suit featured in season one of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and is piloted by Lockon Stratos. Using combat data obtained from the Gundam Astray Blue Frame Third, the Blue Frame Second L was upgraded into the Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise. The new MS has better balance and its main weapon, Tactical Arms II, is an improved version of the original Tactical Arms and has 2 new forms, Gatling Arm and Sword Arm. Blue Frame 2nd Revise retains the other weapons of Second L as well as the Trans Phase Armor system around the cockpit. It also stores additional power packs on its rear skirts, which are often used together with the Gatling form. Like the original Blue Frame, the Blue Frame 2nd Revise can be equipped with the Scale System for aquatic missions. The paramilitary organization, Celestial Being, deployed several Gundams in AD 2307 to eliminate world conflicts through armed interventions, and the Gundam Dynames which specialized in long-range shooting is one of them. Like its fellow Gundams, Dynames has a semi-perpetual GN Drive in the center of its body that provides almost limitless energy and produces special, multifunctional GN Particles. The GN Particles grant outstanding mobility and are also utilized for beam weaponry, attitude control, and stealth purposes as they can cause electromagnetic interference, leaving conventional communications and radar devices useless. The Dynames is a third-generation unit developed using the operational data from the second-generation GNY-002 Gundam Sadalsuud, inheriting the reconnaissance mobile suit's powerful sensing capabilities that are now utilized for long-range shooting.During combat, the Dynames primarily serve as a sniper as well as a fire support unit for its allies. Its main weapon is the extremely long-range and powerful GN Sniper Rifle, and when operating this rifle, Dynames is in "Sniper Mode", whereby the Gun Camera hidden in its head is exposed and a precision shooting scope in the cockpit is deployed. The Dynames is however not just limited to long-range attacks as it has a variety of guns and weapons, allowing it to engage in close to mid-range combat when needed, and adapt to various types of missions (including solo missions) as well as changing battlefield conditions. Other standard armaments of the Dynames included GN Beam Sabers on its rear waist unit for close combat, GN Missiles on its knees and front waist armor that can be used to deter approaching enemies, and a GN Shield on the left shoulder for defense. As for optional armaments, it can equip GN Beam Pistols for close to mid-range combat, a GN Full Shield for enhanced defensive capabilities, and a Super Substratospheric Altitude Gun to snipe targets outside the atmosphere from the ground.Besides mounting the GN Beam Sabers, the Dynames' rear waist unit can be used to support the Gundam when it is shooting from seated positions and has a pair of propulsion systems, known as GN Verniers, that create thrust by releasing GN Particles. These verniers are also utilized by other Gundams and have a mechanism whereby their cores are revealed when being activated and when increasing their output. Additionally, the verniers can be moved at the point of attachment, allowing their thrust direction to be adjusted. The overall layout of the Dynames' cockpit is similar to other third-generation Gundams, except for two differences. The first is the aforementioned precision shooting scope stored in the ceiling that lowers down when in use and retracts when not needed. The second is a dock on the right side for placing the individual support AI, Haro, which serves as a sub-pilot, controlling various aspects of the Dynames so the Gundam Meister, Lockon Stratos, can focus on shooting using the precision shooting scope. The third generation Gundams deployed in AD 2307 have several common pieces of equipment, including a pair of clavicle antennas on the torso that serves as the primary control device for the GN Particles, light purple-colored "GN Cables" on various body locations to facilitate the supply of GN Particles to each part of the Gundam and for attitude control purposes, and GN Condensers placed throughout the body to store excess GN Particles, ensuring a reserve of particles that the Gundam can rely on when its operation consumed more than what the GN Drive can produce instantaneously. There is also the special "Trans-Am System" that the Gundams can activate during an emergency to enhance their thrust and defensive capabilities, as well as increase their output to three times that of their normal specifications for a limited time period. This system also causes the Gundams to glow red, and in Dynames' case, its shooting accuracy is improved as well. Unfortunately, this system is a double-edged sword, as the Gundams' performance will drop dramatically once it ends. Additional optional equipment was also developed for the Dynames, such as the set of a sub-aquatic sniper rifle and accompanying sensors that change it into the GN-002/DG014 Gundam Dynames Torpedo and the GNR-001D GN Arms Type-D support mecha that it can dock with to form the more powerful GN-002+GNR-001D GN Armor Type-D. A successor machine with all-around improved performance is later developed based on the Dynames' data and it is known as the GN-006 Cherudim Gundam. Additionally, the Dynames that was moderately damaged during the battle with the UN Forces was eventually refurbished into the GN-002RE Gundam Dynames Repair and deployed on Earth following the defeat of the A-Laws and the Innovators.
MG 1/100 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex (Gold Coating)
Bandai
$160.00 $142.00The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex[1] (aka Phenex) is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam UC: One of Seventy Two. It also appears in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. 0096: Last Sun and the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn novel. It makes its animated debut in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative, which succeeds the events of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OVA, and is piloted by Rita Bernal. The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex was a new machine secretly built under the direction of a EFSF official who disapproved of the Vist Foundation's involvement in the UC Project. Using a psycho-frame body delivered in advance, it was assembled independently by the Earth Federation Forces and reflects the data of Units 1 and 2. Rather than that of a Unicorn, the Phenex's motif is that of a phoenix, illustrated with a much more elaborate horn/V-fin and a golden body.
MG 1/100 MS-07B Gundam Gouf Ver.2.0
Bandai
$46.00The MS-07B Gouf is a mass production close-quarters combat ground mobile suit. It was first featured in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. The MS-07B Gouf is designed specifically for Earth-based, close-quarter MS combat. It featured much-improved mobility with a powerful backpack and leg-mounted thrusters for jet-assisted jumps based on the YMS-08A High Mobility Test Type. For armaments, it has the 5-barrel 75mm machine gun in its left hand and a heat rod, which could be used as a superheated slicing weapon or as a grappling weapon with a powerful electric shock effect. It also had a powerful heat sword stored within a shield, and could also use the standard Zaku II weapons, such as the 120mm machine gun or the 280mm bazooka. The Gouf outclassed the MS-06 Zaku II in terms of speed, power output, and melee combat ability, but its overall performance was not great enough to be justified by its increased cost. The Gouf's production was cut short by the development of a more cost efficient unit, the more powerful and nimble MS-09B Dom. Despite its very short production run, several variations were produced in limited numbers and it was still deployed across the world alongside Zakus and Doms. One customized unit was piloted by Visch Donahue, which had the original 5-fingered machine gun left hand replaced by a normal manipulator hand, in its place a 3-barrel 35mm machine gun was mounted on the left forearm.
MG 1/100 Wing Gundam Ver.Ka XXXG-01W
Bandai
$45.00 $37.00The XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (aka Gundam Zero-One) is the titular mobile suit of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series. The unit was primarily piloted by Heero Yuy.Out of the five original Gundams created for Operation Meteor, Wing Gundam is the most well-balanced in terms of abilities and bears the closest resemblance to their common ancestor: the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero. Similar to Wing Zero, the Wing Gundam can transform into an alternate flight form known as "Bird Mode" and has a powerful Buster Rifle as part of its armaments. However, the "ZERO System" interface (which had technical problems) and other parts considered to be excessive were not included, and the skills of the pilot are needed to make up for the shortfall. The major contributor to Wing's mobility is the pair of wing units on the backpack. These units not only generate lift but can also change the aerodynamic characteristics of the mobile suit through the movements of their individual panels, supporting a range of speeds from stall to hypersonic. Even in outer space, the wing units exhibit high attitude control capability using both AMBAC and built-in vernier thrusters. By transforming into Bird Mode, Wing's mobility and movement range are increased further, allowing it to conduct operations that other Gundams could not. The leg thrusters on the back of the knees serve as the main verniers in Bird Mode and are also used for dashing on the ground in MS mode. The Wing Gundam EW is Hajime Katoki's redesign of Wing created after the release of the Gundam Wing sequel OVA/movie Endless Waltz, which has been featured in the Glory of the Losers manga re-telling of the series (among other works). The redesigned Wing retains largely the same armament and abilities, but resembles Wing Zero in appearance even more than before and can be equipped with extra energy cartridges to enable the Buster Rifle to fire a maximum of nine shots instead of three.
MG 1/100 Freedom Gundam Z.A.F.T. Mobile Suite ZGMF-X10A (Ver. 2.0)
Bandai
$61.00The ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam (aka Freedom, X10A) is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and piloted by Kira Yamato. One of ZAFT's ZGMF-X series of Gundam units build in C.E. 71 using technology derived from the four captured Alliance's Gundam, the Freedom Gundam has Phase Shift Armor and its armaments include CIWS guns, beam sabers, shield, plasma beam cannons, railguns, and a beam rifle. When the latter three weapons are used simultaneously, the Freedom is said to be in 'Full Burst Mode'. The suit has full flight capabilities in the atmosphere and the back-mounted wings can be deployed in "High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT) Mode" to enhance its mobility in the atmosphere or in space. It also has an advanced targeting system, the Multi Lock-On System, that allows it to target and fire at multiple enemy units simultaneously. Due to its capabilities and loadout, the suit has a reputation as a specialized 'Mobile Suit Killer', but its high performance resulted in a complicated control system that demands extremely fast reaction speed and spatial awareness from its pilot. When required, the Freedom Gundam can dock with a support unit, the METEOR unit, for heavier firepower and greater speed. The Freedom Gundam has virtually unlimited combat endurance as it is equipped with a Neutron Jammer Canceller and powered by a nuclear reactor. Kira describes the suit as having over four times the power of the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. However, what this exactly means is unclear. The Freedom Gundam is meant to operate alongside the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, and they are often based on the warship, the FFMH-Y101 Eternal, which is designed specifically to maintain them. Even in CE 73, the suit is still considered by some people, such as Shinn Asuka, as the most powerful mobile suit out there. Overall, it is one of Clyne Faction's symbols of power, along with the Eternal, the Archangel, and the Justice.
MG 1/100 MS-09R Rick Dom
Bandai
$61.00The MS-09R Rick Dom (リック・ドム Rikku Domu?) is a mass production space combat mobile suit and a variant of the MS-09 Dom. It was introduced in the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam. Proposed by Zimmad as one of the competing designs for Zeon's next generation space-use mobile suit in the middle stage of the One Year War, the MS-09R was a variant of the ground-use MS-09 Dom. The MS-09 was chosen as the developmental base due to its good basic design. Its block structure was a major factor that enabled its specifications to be easily changed without modifications to its basic frame. The MS-09R removed the ground-use equipment of its predecessor and replaced them with space-use equipment, increasing its propellant capacity and its vernier thruster output. The thermonuclear jet engines on its feet were replaced with thermonuclear rocket engines. Its total spec, including cost and ease of manufacture, surpassed that of the MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type, the most advanced mobile suit at the time.In addition to retaining the Dom's armaments, including its signature Giant Bazooka, some units under Dozle Zabi were said to be equipped with the experimental Beam Bazooka. Though the Rick Dom's generator output was insufficient to use beam weapons, the Beam Bazooka did not require energy from the mobile suit to be used. However, the weapon never reached mass production due to frequent explosions, though it was rumored that an improved variant of the Rick Dom capable of using the Beam Bazooka safely existed.
