The ZGMF-X191M2 ∞ Justice Gundam Type II is a mobile suit introduced in the animated film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. It is piloted by Athrun Zala. An upgraded version of the ZGMF-X19A ∞ Justice Gundam, modified by Erica Simmons at the request of Cagalli Yula Athha. Originally made to test out the performance of the AMGS-X18P Cavalier Aifrid support craft, the Type II features enhanced performance over its predecessor. External changes to the Type II include a new head, new larger shoulders, changed skirt armors and legs, and the replacement of its signature horn's sensors with a beam blade emitter. A new panoramic cockpit has also been installed to improve the pilot's situational awareness. The main change to the Type II is the new M2X32E "Volantes" 4-winged sub-flight lifter developed off data from the EW454F Ootori Striker pack. It features enhanced flight performance and improved firepower, including additional beam saber emitters and missile launchers.

The ZGMF/A-262PD-P Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam is a mobile suit introduced in the animated film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. It is piloted by Kira Yamato and co-piloted by Lacus Clyne. The ZGMF/A-262PD-P Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam is the combination of the ZGMF/A-262B Strike Freedom Gundam Type II and the MDE262S Proud Defender support craft, replacing the Super DRAGOON wing backpack and giving it enhanced combat ability. The ZGMF-1001/M Blaze ZAKU Phantom is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.

The MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame is a Mobile Suit introduced in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray. It is piloted by Junk Guild member Lowe Guele. The MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame is one of five identical prototype mobile suits developed by Orb using stolen data from the Earth Alliance's G Project. Its original concept was to be a MS that could be piloted by Naturals, and it was eventually loaded with an incomplete Natural-use OS. Most of the technology from the G Project is successfully copied with the exception of Phase Shift armor. In its place, the Gundam Astrays' designers made the machines out of a lighter foam metal compound, with minimal armor over the frame. This made the mobile suits lighter and faster than their G Project counterparts. All five prototype Gundam Astrays are also designed with a backpack that can be lowered to the back skirt armor, allowing the mounting of additional equipment on the back. The Red Frame initially had the same armament as the other prototype Gundam Astrays, consisting of two head-mounted "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS, two backpack-mounted beam sabers for close combat, a Type 71 beam rifle and a physical shield. Red Frame's pilot, Lowe Guele, eventually acquired another armament - the "Gerbera Straight" katana. To wield this katana effectively, the Red Frame's OS was modified. Lowe also created a 150 meter long version of this sword, however it cannot be carried by the Red Frame in its normal configuration. Lowe also designed a set of upgrades for Red Frame, but they are used to repair Gai's damaged MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame instead. When there is a need for flight capability, Red Frame can be fitted with the Flight Unit and when it needs to dive underwater, it can use the Salvage Unit. After his return from Mars, Lowe developed the Caletvwlch and the Ddraig Head. The former is a multifunctional handheld equipment, while the latter is a special head unit designed to complement the former. Like other mobile suits that use beam weapons, the Red Frame is equipped with hand plugs to exchange energy with weapons the suit carries. Although considered a misuse of the system, the energy from the hand plug can be manipulated into an energy ball and discharged. This is often used by Lowe as an emergency weapon, for example to temporarily blind enemies. The mysterious organization, Librarian Works, later created a copy of the Red Frame. Known as Replica Red Frame, it has the same capabilities as the real Red Frame.

The GAT-04+AQM/E-A4E1 Jet Windam is a variant of the GAT-04 Windam introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. A custom unit is piloted by Neo Roanoke.

The NOG-M1A1 Black Knight Squad Shi-ve.A is a mobile suit introduced in the animated film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. An advanced high-performance mobile suit developed by the Kingdom of Foundation using ZAFT technology, designed to specialize in close combat. It utilizes many advanced technologies, such as the new Femto Technology Armor to defend against beam weaponry.

The ZGMF-56E2/α Force Impulse Gundam Spec II is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. It is piloted by Lunamaria Hawke. An upgraded version of the ZGMF-X56S/α Force Impulse Gundam secretly modified by Erica Simmons at the request of Cagalli Yula Athha, the Force Impulse Gundam Spec II features improved battery capacity. It is visually distinguished from the original by a slightly darker and desaturated color scheme, caused by differences in voltage from the new battery on the Variable Phase Shift armor. Otherwise, the Force Impulse Spec II retains all of the capabilities of the original Impulse Gundam.

The ZGMF-X56S/α Force Impulse Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Shinn Asuka and later by Lunamaria Hawke. The ZGMF-X56S/α Force Impulse Gundam is the ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam equipped with the α Force Silhouette pack. The Force Impulse is a general purpose MS like the original Impulse, but has extremely high mobility under gravity and in zero gravity due to the Force Silhouette's high output thrusters and large wings. This pack also enables atmospheric flight, and adds a pair of beam sabers to the Impulse's standard armaments, granting the Force Impulse high melee and ranged combat capabilities. The Force Impulse is the most commonly used form of the Impulse due to its high versatility, and it is said that its aerial combat capabilities are equivalent to the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam's. The Force Impulse retains the same VPS colors as the original Impulse.

The ZGMF-X23S Saviour Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Athrun Zala. The ZGMF-X23S Saviour Gundam is one of ZAFT's five Second Stage Series mobile suits, and like other machines of the series, it inherited the basic performance of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam and the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, making it superior to the ZAFT's mass production MS in CE 73, the ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior. The design of the Saviour Gundam emphasizes mobility, and not only does it demonstrate high aerial combat capability in MS mode due to its two large wings, it can also transform into a fighter jet-like mobile armor (MA) mode, which has higher acceleration and cruising speed.With sensor-type devices mounted at the top, the Saviour's head is reminiscent of the GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam's. The Saviour excels in hit-and-run attacks using a combination of its MS and MA modes and is armed with a beam rifle, a shield, two beam sabers, two CIWS guns, two machine guns as well as a pair of beam and plasma beam cannons. It can also operate in space and is equipped with a new form of Phase Shift armor known as Variable Phase Shift armor as well as a battery that can be recharged during battle using the Deuterion Beam Energy Transfer System. As with the ZGMF-X24S Chaos Gundam, the Saviour Gundam is based upon a similar prototype unit, in this case the ZGMF-YX21R Proto-Saviour.

The ORB-01 Akatsuki Gundam (aka Akatsuki Gundam, Akatsuki) is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is initially piloted by Cagalli Yula Athha using the "Oowashi" Sky Pack, and later by Mu La Flaga using the "Shiranui" Space Pack. The Akatsuki Gundam was developed through the fusion of the knowledge that the Orb engineers had gained from studying the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam and its Striker Pack support system, with newer Orb-based prototype technologies. Its standard armaments include a twin beam saber, head-mounted CIWS, an arm-mounted shield, and a beam rifle. Its most remarkable feature is its gold-colored armor, known as the Yata-no-Kagami. Gold is the color reserved for Orb's ruling class, and this armor is actually a mirror surface armor capable of deflecting and even reflecting beam fire with help from the Akatsuki's sensors, making the mobile suit virtually impervious to beam shots. Despite this, its vulnerability to melee and physical weapons remained equal to that of any other mobile suit, hence the presence of a shield as part of its armaments.The Akatsuki can also equip two optional backpacks, which are derived from the Strike Gundam's Striker Packs, to improve its combat abilities. On Earth, it can use an aerial backpack known as "Oowashi" Sky Pack, granting it atmospheric flight capabilities. Armed with two beam cannons, the Oowashi can separate from the mobile suit and transform into a support aircraft, similar to the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam's Fatum-00. With this pack on, the suit is known as Oowashi Akatsuki Gundam. When operating in space, the Akatsuki can use another backpack known as the "Shiranui" Space Pack, which increases the suit's mobility and equipped it with seven remote control beam turret units that have offensive and defensive capabilities. With this pack on, the suit is known as Shiranui Akatsuki Gundam.

The ZGMF-X666S Legend Gundam is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Rey Za Burrel. The direct successor of the ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam, the Legend Gundam, unlike its predecessor, was designed with the use of the DRAGOON System in mind. As such, the layout and structure of its DRAGOON System was greatly improved. In addition, improvements in the operating system allowed pilots without high spatial awareness to use the DRAGOONs as well. Thanks to the two pairs of blade antennas on its head, the Legend Gundam also had enhanced intelligence gathering capabilities compared to its predecessor.Developed as part of the Third Stage Series, the Legend Gundam's output far surpassed the Second Stage Series units due to its use of the Hyper-Deuterion Engine, a hybrid of nuclear power and the Deuterion Beam Energy Transfer System. However, since the Junius Treaty banned the use of nuclear engines, it was classified as part of the Second Stage Series due to political concerns (hence the "S" at the end of its model number).In addition to the DRAGOONs, the Legend was armed with the MA-BAR78F high energy beam rifle, an improved version of the Providence's MA-M221 "Judicium" beam rifle, as well as a pair of MA-M80S Defiant Kai beam javelin, which could be connected to form a double-bladed beam saber known as the "ambidextrous halberd". It also had a pair of head-mounted CIWS, and like the ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam, was equipped with a pair of MX2351 "Solidus Fulgor" beam shield generators behind its hands for defense.

The ZGMF-1001/M Blaze ZAKU Phantom is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. The Blaze ZAKU Phantom is the ZGMF-1001 ZAKU Phantom equipped with the Wizard System's EX-M Blaze Wizard on its back. As a result, the suit has higher mobility in space and on earth due to additional high output thrusters mounted in the Blaze Wizard. The Blaze Wizard also adds two missile launchers containing large number of AGM138 "Firebee" guided missiles to the ZAKU Phantom's standard armaments.

The ZGMF-XX09T DOM Trooper is a prototype heavy mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Hilda Harken, Mars Simeon and Herbert Von Reinhard. A modified design of ZAFT's ZGMF-XX09T DOM Trooper Original Spec Type, the DOM Trooper is armed with an enhanced beam saber stored on the back-mounted EZ Wizard, a "Screaming Nimbus" in the abdomen, a handheld "Giga-launcher" capable of firing physical projectiles and high-powered beams, and a pair of shoulder-mounted CIWS. The DOM Trooper also mounts a defensive "Solidus Fulgor" beam shield generator, the same type used by ZAFT's ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam and ZGMF-X666S Legend Gundam, on each forearm. Its large body and legs mount numerous thrusters, giving the DOM Trooper excellent mobility in spite of its bulk. It also possesses a hovering system built into its legs for moving rapidly over land. As seen in the series, the DOM Troopers' capabilities far exceeds that of the mass production suits of ZAFT.A trio of DOM Troopers can utilize a special attack known as "Jet Stream Attack", which allows them to combine the power of three mobile suits into one through a highly synchronized attack. This maneuver involves the three units attacking in rapid succession, with each using a different weapon, and the lead pilot activating the "Screaming Nimbus". The "Screaming Nimbus" produces a "cloud" of particles with both offensive and defensive capabilities that spread out to form a barrier around the DOM Troopers. This has the end effect of allowing the DOM Trooper to tear through groups of enemy units with ease while still having a certain level of defense from enemy fire.
