Micro Set is a very versatile decal setting solution that does several things to Microscale Decals to improve the application. Micro Set should be applied to the surface of the model where you will be sliding the decal off the paper backing. Micro Set prepares the surface with special wetting agents that cut the oils into new paint and convert the adhesive on the back of the decal to a stronger and longer-lasting one. In addition, Micro Set slightly softens the decal film to make it more flexible so that it will conform better to the model's surface. Better adhesion of the decal to the model prevents tiny air bubbles from forming and results in an invisible carrier film for the so-called "painted-on look." To apply Micro Set: Use a soft flat artist's brush and apply Micro Set where you are going to apply the decal. Then slide the decal off the backing paper using a small pointed tip synthetic bristle brush to carefully position the decal in its proper position. Blot the decal carefully with a tissue or paper toweling, being careful not to disturb its position. Allow the decal to dry overnight. It will then be ready for a protective coat of Micro Coat Flat, Satin, or Gloss.

Mr. Colour Leveling Thinner is an all-around outstanding thinner, for use with lacquer-based paints that contain a drying retarder. This makes the thinned paint slower drying meaning it has more time to spread and level to a smooth finish. This helps you create a much smoother surface and a higher gloss finish.

Mr. Mark Setter is an adhesive component, which gives decals greater adhesion to plastic parts. It is much easier to affix decals to plastic model part where the parts either have a rough or irregular surface. First, the area to which the decal will be affixed is painted and then the decal is applied. After any air bubbles are removed by pressing on the decal with a cotton swab, a coating of Mr.Mark Setter is applied and allowed to dry. Because the decal now has a greater degree of adhesion, adhesive silvering (the floating and shiny quality of the clear parts of decals) will be greatly reduced or eliminated, and decals can be firmly affixed to uneven surfaces. It is perfect even for poorly made decals. Decals will have greater adhesion if the painted surface is prepared with a gloss finish.

The Tamiya Extra-Thin Quick-Setting Cement is a great time saver for the hobby enthusiast. This thin cement dries around 4 times faster than the Tamiya Extra-Thin Cement and is perfect for small parts. Being a thin formula it is able to flow into small seams or cracks and will set very quickly. Modeling Tip:It is best to use the Quick Setting Extra Thin Cement when you are looking to glue parts together very quickly, in order to move onto the next step of the building process faster. It is also recommended that you are sure of your parts attachment and fit when using this faster setting glue. The Quick Setting Cement typically dries in under 10 seconds.NOTE: Not recommended for larger gaps or for use with elastomer (used on tank tracks) as it can cause brittleness.

A surfacer containing a primer component. [Precautions for use] Store out of reach of children and be careful not to accidentally swallow or eat. Since it contains organic solvent, improve ventilation both during painting and drying. When spraying paint, be careful not to get it on people or objects. Wear a mask and gloves during handling to avoid touching the skin as much as possible. If it gets on your skin, wash it with soapy water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. If you feel sick, rest in a clean air. Seek medical attention immediately if you experience pain or changes in appearance. Cover the remaining paint and do not store it in direct sunlight, near heaters, or in rusty water or humid places in cans to prevent damage. Do not apply in places with fire. Do not use for anything other than painting.
