HG 1/144 HGGS GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam
Bandai
$15.00The GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. It is piloted by Athrun Zala. Designated as the commander unit of the Alliance's G Project due to its enhanced communication and analysis capabilities, Aegis also has heavy attack power as well as Phase Shift armor and can transform into a mobile armor (MA) due to its X300-series frame. In MA mode, it has two different sub modes, 'Cruise' and 'Attack'. When in 'MA Cruise Mode', Aegis has higher speed and acceleration, while in 'MA Attack Mode', it can destroy enemy ship/mobile suit with its "Scylla" 580mm energy cannon directly or grab onto them with its four limbs first then destroy them using the cannon. Other weaponry includes two head-mounted CIWS, a hand-held beam rifle, a shield and a beam saber in each limb.Aegis also has a large sensor unit at the top of its head and unlike most suits, its main thrusters seem to be located in the side binders on its waist. Due to the transformation system, Aegis's internal structure is more complex and it is for this reason that there are no mass production variants of the suit. The three different modes (MS Mode, MA Cruise Mode and MA Attack Mode) also means that Aegis's pilot needs to have higher skills to be able to use the suit effectively.

HG 1/144 HGGS MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame
Bandai
$15.00The MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame is a Mobile Suit introduced in the manga series Gundam SEED Astray and featured in the photo-novel Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray B. It is piloted by Gai Murakumo. The MBF-P03 Astray Blue Frame was one of five identical prototype combat mobile suits developed using stolen data from the Earth Alliance's G Project and was designated for testing optional equipment. Its computer contains data and blueprints for various optional equipment. Most of the technology from the G Project was successfully copied with the exception of Phase Shift armor. In its place the Astrays' designers made the machines out of a lighter foaming metal compound and were built with minimal armor over the frame. This made the Astray mobile suits lighter and faster than their G Project counterparts.Originally, the Astray Blue Frame was armed with the standard armament of the other prototype Astray suits. These weapons include two head-mounted "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS, two back-mounted beam sabers for close combat, a Type 71 beam rifle, and a single physical shield. However its mercenary pilot used his resources to outfit the Astray Blue Frame with a wide variety of equipment to suit multiple combat situations and to meet the needs of different mission. Like the other prototype Astray suits, Astray Blue Frame's backpack can be lowered to the back skirt armor, allowing the mounting of additional equipment on its back.
HG 1/144 HGGS Meteor Unit & Freedom Gundam
Bandai
$94.00The HG Meteor Unit + Freedom Gundam is a 1/144 scale model kit from the Gundam SEED anime. The model is 22 inches long and doesn't require glue to build. It includes a new color version of the Freedom Gundam, which is fully articulated and has missile hatch openings and closures. The model also has large beam cannons that can tilt when docked. The Meteor Unit can be displayed on its stand and has effect parts that replicate the Beam Swords activated. The missile launcher hatches on the sides and back of the model can also be opened.
HG 1/144 HGGS YFX-200 CGUE DEEP Arms
Bandai
$20.00The CGUE DEEP Arms is a variant of the ZGMF-515 CGUE introduced in the side story Mobile Suit Gundam SEED MSV. One unit is piloted by Shiho Hahnenfuss. The CGUE DEEP Arms (DEEP standing for Directional Energy Emission exPerimental) is a mobile suit based on the ZGMF-515 CGUE. It is created to test the beam weapon technology that ZAFT obtained from the four stolen G Project mobile suits, and is thus equipped with a pair of experimental beam cannons that are over 10 meters in length. The cannons' large size is due to the presence of a large beam-generating unit and large cooling systems. These cannons also placed an additional burden on the suit's body. To cope with it, existing power and cooling units are replaced by newer, high-output ones, and additional units are installed in the backpack.Although the beam cannons' cooling issue is not adequately solved, their performance reached acceptable levels, and data gained during their usage is used by ZAFT to develop subsequent beam weapons. Besides the cannons, the CGUE DEEP Arms' armaments include a heavy laser sword, a long physical sword with a laser edge, and the standard machine gun used by the original CGUE. The suit also has modified shoulders and leg units, while the head-mounted fin-shaped sensor array has been enlarged to improve the precision of the beam cannons' fire and the accuracy of the suit's attack while it is hiding behind cover.
HG 1/144 HGGS YMF-X000A Dreadnought Gundam
Bandai
$20.00The YMF-X000A Dreadnought Gundam (aka Dreadnaught, X Astray) is a Mobile Suit introduced in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam SEED X Astray. Its main pilot is Prayer Reverie. Based on technology stolen from the Earth Alliance, the Dreadnought was jointly developed by PLANT's three primary military design bureaus: Clarke, Asimov, and Heinlein. It was a testbed for ZAFT's newly developed Neutron Jammer Canceller, which allowed the use of nuclear power under Neutron Jammer interference, making it the first mobile suit to be powered by a nuclear engine. The Dreadnought's Neutron Jammer Canceller was installed in its head, unlike the later nuclear-powered mobile suits that were developed using its data. Therefore, while its head was a custom made, Gundam type head, its body reused many parts from the ZGMF-600 GuAIZ to shorten its development time. Additionally, several of its weapons were based on those used by the GuAIZ.Due to its prototype nature, the Dreadnought's Neutron Jammer Canceller has a greater effective range than later units. Instead of being confined to the Dreadnought's nuclear engine, it also allowed nuclear reactions to occur nearby. Taking advantage of the nuclear engine's high output, the Dreadnought was equipped with the Phase Shift armor and the new DRAGOON System, both of which consume massive amount of power. In case the Neutron Jammer Canceller is missing or inoperable, the Dreadnought could still function using its internal battery, though it was unable to use the Phase Shift armor in this state. The DRAGOON System (Disconnected Rapid Armament Group Overlook Operation Network System) is similar in concept to the Wired Gunbarrels equipped by the Alliance's TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero, but its remote weaponry are controlled wirelessly via quantum communication, which is immune to the Neutron Jammers' disruptive effects. The power intensive nature of the DRAGOON System is attributed to the quantum communication. Like the Wired Gunbarrels, the DRAGOON System can only be operated by pilots who have a high level of spatial awareness. Initially, the Dreadnought's remote weaponry only consisted of two waisted-mounted XM1 "Pristis" Beam Reamers, it gained more remote weaponry when a large, X-shaped backpack armed with four DRAGOON units was later mounted onto the mobile suit. The word 'Dreadnought' means a fearless person, and officially, it was selected as the name of this mobile suit to convey the wish that it would be a fearless machine that protects the PLANTs. However, at the development site, it was joked that the name refers to the mobile suit's pilot, who borne increased risk as the machine has a dangerous nuclear engine. Despite this joke, the Dreadnought is said to be safe as sufficient protection is built-in. With the X-shaped backpack, the Dreadnought is also called 'X Astray', but it is unrelated to the Astray series mobile suits. The 'X' is a reference to the shape of its backpack, while 'Astray' is derived from the fact that although the Dreadnought was meant to be a weapon for killing, its pilot, Prayer Reverie, wanted to use it for saving lives instead.

HG 1/144 HGGS ZGMF-X666S Legend Gundam
Bandai
$20.00The ZGMF-X666S Legend Gundam is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Rey Za Burrel. The direct successor of the ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam, the Legend Gundam, unlike its predecessor, was designed with the use of the DRAGOON System in mind. As such, the layout and structure of its DRAGOON System was greatly improved. In addition, improvements in the operating system allowed pilots without high spatial awareness to use the DRAGOONs as well. Thanks to the two pairs of blade antennas on its head, the Legend Gundam also had enhanced intelligence gathering capabilities compared to its predecessor.Developed as part of the Third Stage Series, the Legend Gundam's output far surpassed the Second Stage Series units due to its use of the Hyper-Deuterion Engine, a hybrid of nuclear power and the Deuterion Beam Energy Transfer System. However, since the Junius Treaty banned the use of nuclear engines, it was classified as part of the Second Stage Series due to political concerns (hence the "S" at the end of its model number). In addition to the DRAGOONs, the Legend was armed with the MA-BAR78F high energy beam rifle, an improved version of the Providence's MA-M221 "Judicium" beam rifle, as well as a pair of MA-M80S Defiant Kai beam javelin, which could be connected to form a double-bladed beam saber known as the "ambidextrous halberd". It also had a pair of head-mounted CIWS, and like the ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam, was equipped with a pair of MX2351 "Solidus Fulgor" beam shield generators behind its hands for defense.
HG 1/144 HGGS ZGMF-XX09T DOM Trooper
Bandai
$20.00The ZGMF-XX09T DOM Trooper is a prototype heavy mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Hilda Harken, Mars Simeon and Herbert Von Reinhard. A modified design of ZAFT's ZGMF-XX09T DOM Trooper Original Spec Type, the DOM Trooper is armed with an enhanced beam saber stored on the back-mounted EZ Wizard, a "Screaming Nimbus" in the abdomen, a handheld "Giga-launcher" capable of firing physical projectiles and high-powered beams, and a pair of shoulder-mounted CIWS. The DOM Trooper also mounts a defensive "Solidus Fulgor" beam shield generator, the same type used by ZAFT's ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam and ZGMF-X666S Legend Gundam, on each forearm. Its large body and legs mount numerous thrusters, giving the DOM Trooper excellent mobility in spite of its bulk. It also possesses a hovering system built into its legs for moving rapidly over land. As seen in the series, the DOM Troopers' capabilities far exceeds that of the mass production suits of ZAFT.A trio of DOM Troopers can utilize a special attack known as "Jet Stream Attack", which allows them to combine the power of three mobile suits into one through a highly synchronized attack. This maneuver involves the three units attacking in rapid succession, with each using a different weapon, and the lead pilot activating the "Screaming Nimbus". The "Screaming Nimbus" produces a "cloud" of particles with both offensive and defensive capabilities that spread out to form a barrier around the DOM Troopers. This has the end effect of allowing the DOM Trooper to tear through groups of enemy units with ease while still having a certain level of defense from enemy fire.
HG 1/144 HGIBO ASW-G-29 Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento
Bandai
$23.00The ASW-G-29 Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento is a mobile suit that appears in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS Gekko. Developed from the ASW-G-29 Gundam Astaroth, it is piloted by Argi Mirage. After the ASW-G-29 Gundam Astaroth was restored to 82% of its original configuration, it was stolen and sold. It was eventually recovered from an underground market in the Jupiter Sphere but had lost the majority of its armor and equipment. To replace the missing parts, the suit was fitted with armor and equipment from other mobile suits, returning it to an asymmetrical shape, and was renamed 'Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento'.The design of Astaroth Rinascimento emphasized offensive and defensive power, and is equipped with an enlarged sub knuckle, a new shield arm, and a new weapon known as Bastard Chopper. Volco Warren fitted the suit with weaponry all over its body as a way of providing equipment support to Argi Mirage, who has yet to mature as an MS pilot. The aim is to secure the advantage in combat no matter the situation via the effective use of weaponry. A larger backpack with improved thrust power is also mounted to offset the increase in weight, but with the removal of the boost armors, the suit has become so unbalanced that now Argi is the only one who can properly pilot it.
HG 1/144 HGIBO ASW-G-66 Gundam Kimaris Vidar
Bandai
$17.00The ASW-G-66 Gundam Kimaris Vidar is a mobile suit introduced in the second season of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS. It is piloted by Gaelio Bauduin. After Vidar removed his mask and revealed himself to be Gaelio Bauduin, the Gundam Vidar was retrofitted into the Gundam Kimaris Vidar, reclaiming the name Kimaris. This conversion was conducted quickly as it was planned from the beginning. The Gundam Vidar's Alaya-Vijnana Type E was retained, but the third Ahab Reactor was purged as it only served to hide the suit's true identity, which is no longer needed. The Gundam Kimaris Vidar is meant for the decisive battle against McGillis Fareed and his Gundam Bael. This variation of the Kimaris has existed since the Calamity War era.The Gundam Kimaris Vidar's equipment is the same as those used in the Calamity War era, and meant to give it an advantage in zero-gravity combat, making it the polar opposite of the Gundam Kimaris Trooper, whose equipment is meant for ground combat. Besides having a drill lance and a sword as its main weapons, Kimaris Vidar is also armed with a pair of drill knee and two shields. With its variety of weapons, the suit has the potential to be used in any range, and is considered to have a high level of completion amongst the Kimaris’ variations. Like the Gundam Kimaris and Gundam Kimaris Trooper, the Gundam Kimaris Vidar's primary battle style involves hit-and-run attacks with its lance.
HG 1/144 HGUC AMX-003 Gaza-C
Bandai
$20.00The AMX-003 (MMT-1) Gaza-C is a mass-production transformable mobile suit first featured in the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ anime series. The design was given an update and appears in the photo-novel/OVA Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. Like many mobile suits designed around the time of the Gryps Conflict, the Gaza-C line of mobile suits from Axis Zeon were built around the concept of a versatile transforming frame. Although the Gaza-C was approved and put into mass production, there were minor flaws in the design, and the manufacturing resources of the Axis asteroid was limited, so many of the Gaza-C's parts were recycled from older Gaza-A and Gaza-B construction mobile suits.Despite this, the Gaza-C was a successful design that provided an excellent balance of speed, maneuverability, and firepower for little cost and was the first mass-produced version of the Gaza-series. However, one major problem with the Gaza-C is that due to its flimsy construction, the mobile suit would literally fall apart after using its transformation systems only a few times; the average lifespan of a Gaza-C would be three combat missions. This flaw was remedied in later Gaza models.
HG 1/144 HGUC AMX-004 Qubeley
Bandai
$23.00AMX-004 Qubeley (キュベレイ Kyuberei?) is a mobile suit that appears in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. It is piloted by Haman Karn. The Qubeley is a next generation mobile suit designed for Newtypes that features numerous technological innovations which allow it to fight on par with other advanced mobile suits that appeared during the Gryps Conflict and the First Neo Zeon War. Developed from the data gathered from the MS-09R4 Psycommu Rick Dom "Schnee Weiss" and the AMX-001 Prototype Qubeley, the Qubeley featured four independently movable shoulder binders, two binders per shoulder, to assist in AMBAC (Active Mass Balance Auto Control), granting phenomenal mobility. Though lacking the full range of motion as the arms and legs, these binders bring the Qubeley's total number of movable limbs up to eight. Furthermore, these binders also contain the Qubeley's primary thrusters. The most notable feature of the Qubeley is that it is the first combat mobile suit to be equipped with a mobile suit-sized psycommu system, which is used to control the new remote controlled weaponry known as "Funnels". The prototype featured a similar system, but its psycommu had not been fully miniaturized and the Funnels were stored in its main body, leaving the prototype with a large body that stood 25 meters tall. The system aboard the Qubeley had been perfected and its ten Funnels were stored in a container located in its rear armor, allowing for quicker deployment and recall. The Qubeley lacks the mega particle cannons of the prototype version, replacing them with a pair of dual-purpose beam guns that can double as beam sabers for close combat. Lastly, the Qubeley is one of the first Zeon mobile suits to use a dual-type optical sensor instead of the traditional mono-eye.
HG 1/144 HGUC AMX-011 Zaku III
Bandai
$20.00The AMX-011 Zaku III (aka AMX-110 Zaku III) was a mass-produced general purpose mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. One unit was piloted by Rakan Dahkaran. A descendant of the Zaku series of mobile suits, the Zaku III was designed to be highly versatile, being able to perform just about any mission role and many option parts were developed for it. The Zaku III is a big step up from the venerable MS-06 Zaku II, possessing better armor, over twice the power output, three times the sensor range, and four times the thruster acceleration, not to mention the various new beam weapons it wielded. Its backpack is equipped with integrated propellant tanks and flexible vernier thrusters, improving its cruising range and mobility. In U.C. 0096, the Neo Zeon remnant group, the Sleeves, used modified Zaku III units. The Zaku III's front skirt armor were reconfigured with two sub-arms, allowing it to quickly deploy and wield both beam sabers at the same time, catching enemies off guard in close-quarters combat. The Sleeves' Zaku III's left shoulder armor is also replaced with one from the Zaku III Custom.
HG 1/144 HGUC Gundam Unicorn MSN-001A1 Delta Plus
Bandai
$27.00The MSN-001A1 Delta Plus was an Earth Federation Forces mobile suit introduced in the novel and OVA Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. The Delta Plus was a prototype Transformable Mobile Suit (TMS) developed by Anaheim Electronics. Based on the development plan of the MSN-001 Delta Gundam, the Delta Plus incorporated technologies from the Zeta series of mobile suits, as well as operating data from the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki. It was developed as an all-purpose attack machine, capable of operating both in space and in the atmosphere. Like the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, the Delta Plus was capable of transforming into a Wave Rider Mode with the ability to enter the atmosphere unassisted. The Wave Rider Mode's thrust was high enough to not only achieve atmospheric flight, but also serve as a Sub-Flight System for another mobile suit under 1G of gravity. The Delta Plus adopted a unique layout that concentrated all of its thrusters on the lower body and had no thrusters on its back. Its legs, which functioned as the main thrusters in Wave Rider Mode, were only equipped with minimal armor. This was because it prioritized mobility over durability, a design concept proven by the Hyaku Shiki. Its head sensor adopted an updated version of the IDE (Image Directive Encode) System used by the Hyaku Shiki, with scan lines appearing on the sensor when activating or switching between modes. Like its predecessor, it had a pair of dual eye sensors deep underneath. Most of the Delta Plus' weapons were stored in its shield, including a fixed beam cannon at the front, a 2-barrel grenade launcher, and two beam sabers that could function as beam guns when stored. The shield served as the Wave Rider Mode's main weapon and sensor. Its standard handheld weapon was the Long Mega Buster, but due to E-pac compatibility issues, the unit assigned to Londo Bell in U.C. 0096 used the same beam rifle as the RGZ-95 ReZEL. Finally, it was armed with a pair of head-mounted vulcan guns. Unusually, a simplified Psycommu device known as the Bio-Sensor was installed at the request of the Earth Federation Forces. While this system was believed to enhance the responsiveness of the mobile suit, it had limited effectiveness when used by regular pilots.
HG 1/144 HGUC LM314V21 Victory 2 Gundam
Bandai
$16.00The LM314V21 Victory 2 Gundam (aka Victory 2, V2) is the successor of the LM312V04 Victory Gundam featured in Mobile Suit Victory Gundam. Its development involves Myra Miggelle, wife of Hangerg Ewin, one of the founding members of League Militaire. It is piloted by Üso Ewin. Developed from the LM312V04 Victory Gundam, the Victory 2 (V2) Gundam was the newest Gundam produced by the League Militaire as their new symbol, replacing the older Victory Gundam. Nevertheless it shared many similarities with its predecessor, most notably the Core Block System, in which the V2's body is consisted of a Core Fighter (also known as V2 Core Fighter) attached to the suit's upper and lower body. This allowed damaged parts to be quickly and easily swapped out in the middle of battle. The V2 Core Fighter can also combined only with the upper body (also known as V2 Top Limb, or "Hanger" as it was informally known) or the lower body (also known as V2 Bottom Limb or "Boots") to form the V2 Top Fighter and the V2 Bottom Fighter respectively. Its armaments were mostly identical to the original Victory as well, although most of its systems were upgraded to better combat the newer mobile weapons being produced by the Zanscare Empire. Like its two predecessors, the V2 could also be outfitted with a variety of equipment to adapt to different mission roles. These upgrades typically saw the V2 outfitted with additional armor or extra weapons (or both). The most important upgrade, however, was the Minovsky Drive System, which was derived from the Victory Gundam's Minovsky Flight System and provided the unit with unparalleled power and maneuverability. This system allowed the V2 to fly in space without the use of conventional rocket thrusters (though some were still incorporated for maneuvering) and achieve incredible speeds. If used on Earth, the Minovsky Drive allowed the V2 to hover in mid-air without additional support, a significant advantage over the beam rotor technology used by Zanscare's mobile suits. The Minovsky Drive can also be used for both offensive and defensive purposes, sometimes simultaneously. The system's high-energy exhaust plumes manifested as a giant pair of wings ("Wings of Light"), which could be used as either gigantic beam sabers or as massive beam shields to shield both the Gundam itself and other targets. The defensive ability of the Wings of Light is nigh-unbreakable, if not absolute: not even the ZMT-S29S Zanneck's beam cannon, which could hit targets on Earth from high in the atmosphere, could penetrate them.
HG 1/144 HGUC MRX-009 Psyco Gundam
Bandai
$61.00The MRX-009 Psycho Gundam (aka Psyco Gundam) is a transformable mobile armor introduced in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Developed by the Earth Federation Forces' Murasame Newtype Lab as a Cyber Newtype-use machine, the Psycho Gundam incorporates several concepts from the MSN-02 Zeong. At 40 meters tall, it is more than twice the size of a regular mobile suit. This is due to the sheer bulk of the Psycommu System, and the addition of features like a Minovsky Craft System, an anti-beam barrier as well as complex transformation mechanisms. Classified as a large Mobile Armor (MA), it can transform into a Mobile Armor mode known as "Mobile Fortress Mode" that is capable of atmospheric flight thanks to the Minovsky Craft System. Plans for a "Mobile Fortress" in the base defense role were drafted after the One Year War.The Psycho Gundam is entirely controlled by the Psycommu System, and as it was designed to be used by Cyber Newtypes, it cannot be handled by normal humans as the psychological burden is tremendous and potentially fatal. The Psycho-Control System allows the pilot to control Psycho Gundam via remote operation when apart. Besides the superb defensive capabilities offered by the anti-beam barrier, the Psycho Gundam also has overwhelming offensive capabilities, and is armed with 3 diffuse beam cannons in its body, 10 beam cannons in its fingers, and 2 small mega beam cannon in the head. Two units were produced in total.
HG 1/144 HGUC MS-09 Dom / MS-09R Rick Dom
Bandai
$22.00The MS-09 Dom (aka MS-09B Dom) is a mass-production ground combat mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam. Its most well known pilots are the Black Tri-Stars. A heavy mobile suit developed by Zimmad, the MS-09 Dom was a ground combat machine equipped with hovercraft technology. It was fitted with thermonuclear jets and rockets under its feet, allowing it to quickly move across the ground, greatly improving its mobility compared to previous ground-use mobile suits. Thanks to sensors located in front of its feet, it was able to traverse uneven terrain. While in cruising mode, it could hover across the ground using only its thermonuclear jets. The Dom can hover at a maximum speed of 381 km/hr for up to 5 hours. Its primary thrusters adopted the Saturn Engine, a type of thermonuclear engine that used heavy elements such as zinc and lead as propellant, granting it higher thrust than thermonuclear engines that used lighter elements as propellant. The mobile suit's design was largely unchanged from the YMS-09 Prototype Dom aside from its appearance. It inherited the same cross-shaped monoeye rail from the MS-07C-5 Gouf Test Prototype, granting it an improved view of aerial targets. Lateral field of view was obtained by auxiliary sensors. For defense, the Dom was heavily protected, adopting a unique "skirt armor" design to protect weak points in the back, such as thrusters. Its cockpit hatch armor, which was its greatest weakness in the front, was also greatly enhanced. However, since the cockpit was entered directly from the front of the Dom, pilots in desert and wetland areas complained that the console panel would become dirty from entering and exiting. Meanwhile, the Dom's head was merged into its chest, a design intended to deflect and ricochet enemy projectiles, as well as lowering the possibility of being hit.The Dom's primary weapon, the 360mm Giant Bazooka, was developed in parallel with the mobile suit. It was capable of sinking a space cruiser with a single shot. It was also armed with a heat saber for close combat, as well as a scattering beam cannon in its chest, which was capable of blinding the enemy. It was said that the beam cannon was originally intended to be an energy port for beam weapons, but was repurposed after the development of beam weapons was delayed.
HG 1/144 HGUC MS-09F/trop Dom Tropen
Bandai
$20.00The MS-09F/trop Dom Tropen is a mass-production ground combat mobile suit first featured in the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Its design was later updated in the novel Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. The unit is piloted by Gaily and Adamski. A redesigned version of the MS-09F Dom Funf, the Dom Tropen was developed to operate exclusively in tropical regions on Earth, in particular the desert areas. Introduced by the Zeon military late in the One Year War, it also incorporated data taken from the MS-09 Dom and YMS-09D Dom Tropical Test Type. Compared to previous Doms, it is a machine that takes into consideration aerodynamic shape and maintainability. The basic structure of the head unit is closer to that of the MS-09R-2 Rick Dom II than to that of the Dom, and the top of the head is equipped with a sub-sensor. The mobile suit featured modified intake filters for its leg-mounted thermonuclear jet engines, allowing it to retain its high ground hovering speeds without fear of sand ruining the engines. In addition to dustproof air filters and enhanced cooling devices in various parts of its body for desert and hot weather specifications, the Dom Tropen has specialized block-shaped armor designed to facilitate the removal of sand that enters the interior. Armament compatibility has also been thoroughly improved, making it possible to equip anything other than beam weapons.
