RG 1/144 Celestial Being GNT-0000 00 QAN[T]
Bandai
$31.00The GNT-0000 00 Qan[T] (aka 00Q, 00 Qan[T], pronounced "Double-Oh Quanta") is the successor to the GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie: Awakening of the Trailblazer. It is piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei. A fifth Generation Gundam designed and tuned specifically for Celestial Being's first Innovator, Gundam Meister Setsuna F. Seiei, 00 Qan[T] is the latest mobile suit (MS) designed by Celestial Being. Its blueprints originated from an Innovators draft and was sent over from Veda/Tieria (with level 7 clearance) for Celestial Being engineers to analyze and develop. As the successor to GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser, 00 Qan[T] contains an upgraded and improved Twin Drive System and possesses the new Quantum System. Whereas Zabanya and Harute were developed using parts from their predecessors, 00 Qan[T]'s was made as a new mobile suit. The development resources and focus used on 00 Qan[T] is that of a higher level than the other two.The unit possesses two newly created GN Drives specifically made for its Twin Drive System. The drives are located on its back and underneath the shield respectively and were developed by a team led by Linda Vashti at Jupiter. As these newly made solar furnaces are developed with perfect synchronization in mind, no external help with stabilization is required, thus 00 Qan[T] does not need a support unit such as 0 Raiser like 00 Gundam did. They can also be directly connected with each other which would result in a higher sync rate and output, however when used this way they become extremely hard to control. To prevent unexpected problems, they are usually kept separated. The Quantum System is also the successor to 00 Raiser's Trans-Am Burst System, which allows Setsuna to expand his quantum brainwaves. It creates a massive quantum field that extends an Innovator's consciousness to communicate with sentient minds for advanced communications. To activate the system, the Innovator pilot's quantum brainwaves must be active. Once scanned, the two GN Drives connect. Finally, large portions of Qan[T]'s armor is purged, and the condensers within the limbs and the GN Drive core extend beyond the frame of the suit.Like its predecessors (the Exia and 00), 00 Qan[T] is a close combat-oriented mobile suit. Its primary weapon is the GN Sword V, the latest in the line of dual functioning weapons that can alternate between sword and rifle modes. A GN Shield is mounted over the left shoulder in a similar fashion to one of the GN-0000 00 Gundam's GN Drives. The shield itself can deploy 6 GN Sword Bits (stored on the sides of the shield) which serve many functions, but are primarily remote blades. The Sword Bits can be attached to the GN Sword V to form either a powerful buster sword or a buster rifle for combat. For added defense, 00 Qan[T] can deploy a GN Field by placing the 6 Sword Bits in a closed spherical formation and can activate the Trans-Am System to enhance its overall capabilities.00 Qan[T] can quantize like 00 Raiser, but with improvements over the original, it is now able to execute this function at will. Unlike 00 Raiser, 00 Qan[T] is capable of quantizing not only for short distances, but all the way across the universe, which was shown when it teleported to the ELS homeworld in the far side of another galaxy. 00 Qan[T]'s Sword Bits have the ability to form a portal and aid in the process. This similar function is also present in GNW-100A Sakibure that appeared 50 years after the end of the movie. The head piece of the 00 Qan[T] acts as a controlling device for the Sword Bits. The particle controlling capabilities of the antennae have yet again improved, allowing the 00 Qan[T] to communicate using Quantum Brainwave interfacing. Ian Vashti has designed the head of the 00 Qan[T] to resemble Setsuna's previous Gundams, the GN-001 Gundam Exia and the GN-0000 00 Gundam. The arm parts of the 00 Qan[T] were made to allow the 00 Qan[T] to wield it's close combat weapons to the fullest. The wrist joints were made to be so flexible that they actually could move like a human arm. The GN Condensers located within the arms have been improved, allowing GN Particles to be transferred to the weapons more smoothly and effectively than the 00 Raiser's condensers. The leg parts of the 00 Qan[T] have built in AMBAC (Active Mass Balance Auto-Control) capabilities to allow it to achieve high maneuverability in zero-G conditions. The knee joints of the 00 Qan[T] were made to be as fluid in motion as a real human knee, with GN condensers located in them, also improved. Some parts of the legs were developed from the GNZ-series, while other parts bore massive improvements to the original parts from the 00. The remaining parts were derived from other GN Drive equipped mobile suits.Being Celestial Being's most advanced MS to date, the 00 Qan[T] is so powerful that it could possibly have eliminated the entire ELS attack force single-handedly had Setsuna chosen not to communicate with them. However, it should be noted that this is just a hypothetical calculation by Veda. It excludes important factors such as ELS' healing abilities, and the physical impossibility of the pilot fighting without food or rest over a whole week of constant battling, making it a very difficult feat to achieve nevertheless.

HG 1/144 RGM-79 Powered GM
Bandai
$15.00The RGM-79 Powered GM is a test-use mobile suit introduced in the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Known pilots include Dick Allen. The RGM-79 Powered GM was a testbed unit developed for the Gundam Development Project. Based on the RGM-79C GM Type C, it was equipped with an early development version of the RX-78GP01 Gundam GP01 "Zephyranthes"'s a large backpack, as well as a pair of new model shock absorber units with integrated auxiliary power on its knees. Thanks to these modifications, its thrust was increased by 30%. Due to being a testbed unit, it was not given a new model number. Since the units assigned to Torrington Base were destroyed and the Gundam Development Project was later erased from Federation records, the details of its modifications and its specifications were all lost.

HG 1/144 HGUC RX-93-V2 Hi-Nu Gundam
Bandai
$27.00The RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam (pronounced "High-New") is an alternate interpretation of the RX-93 ν Gundam which appears in Mobile Suit Gundam: Beltorchika's Children. It is piloted by Amuro Ray. Originally developed in the Anaheim Electronics facility near Von Braun, the Hi-Nu Gundam's basic design was an update of past Gundam Type mobile suits, returning to the basics of Federation-made mobile suits and going against the trend of larger and more complex mobile suit designs at the time. Its most notable feature was a set of six all-range weapons mounted on its back, known as "Fin Funnels", which were capable of both attack and defense. This made it the first full spec Newtype-use Gundam type mobile suit. The Hi-Nu Gundam also featured a Psycommu system designed by its main pilot and engineer, Amuro Ray. Originally, the system only served as the control mechanism for the Fin Funnels. However, after the Londo Bell captured a MSN-03-2 Psycho Doga used by Neo Zeon, the Psycho-Frame technology obtained from it was incorporated into the Hi-Nu Gundam, improving its responsiveness via brainwave controls.Other than the Fin Funnels, the Hi-Nu Gundam was also armed with a pair of head-mounted vulcan guns and an arsenal of custom-made weapons: a beam rifle, a new hyper bazooka, three beam sabers (one on each back-mounted funnel rack, one inside a saber rack in the left forearm), a machine gun mounted in the right forearm, and a shield with built-in ranged weaponry. The Hi-Nu Gundam was completed within three months, this was the result of the maturation of movable frame technology, the tireless effort of engineers, as well as Amuro's own deep understanding of mobile suits.

HG 1/144 Gundam 00 Command Qan[T]
Bandai
$26.00The GNT-0000SDV Gundam 00 Command Qan[T] (ガンダムダブルオーコマンドクアンタ Gandamu Daburuō Komando Kuanta?) is a Gunpla that appears in the Gundam Breaker Battlogue ONA. It first debuted in Gundam Breaker Mobile. A custom Gunpla with SD Command Gundam elements was added to the 00 Qan[T]. In addition to improving the defense power with additional armor, it is possible to fight in any situation with a number of new weapons both close and far. The 00 Command Qan[T] is also equipped with a sub-energy tank for prolonged battles and its combat style is reminiscent of an elite soldier who detaches used-up weaponry to increase mobility and strives to complete a mission even if it only has its Combat Knives left.

HG 1/144 RGM-79SP GM Sniper II
Bandai
$20.00The RGM-79SP GM Sniper II (ジム・スナイパーII Jimu sunaipā II?) is a variant of the RGM-79G GM Command and first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. Based on the GM Command series and the concept of the RGM-79SC GM Sniper Custom deployed earlier in the war, the GM Sniper II is a high-performance machine capable of using specialized weaponry at maximum capacity for ultra-long-range engagements. It was the last and most advanced of the Federation's line of GM Sniper mobile suits during the One Year War. It was also one of the last GM-type units to be developed during the war.The GM Sniper II's specialized head visor has built-in compound sensors with specialized laser sensors, powerful zoom cameras, and image stabilizers for precision, and long-range targeting. During operation, goggles cover the main camera and other elements of the head sensor array, and together with head unit coolers, they physically eliminate noise interference and enhance long-range sniping capabilities. The suit is one of the few capable of accurately firing MS-sized sniper rifles that used physical projectiles. Unlike beam weapons, these rifles are not affected by magnetic forces or solar winds, but only a few were made.Operationally, the GM Sniper II was used to eliminate priority targets such as base ships and command machines from beyond the range of conventional weapons. However, the suit is not just a long-range specialist. Like the highly regarded GM Sniper Custom deployed earlier, the GM Sniper II maintains versatility while having enhanced performance. It has sufficient specifications for mid-range support and close combat and can use almost any existing MS armament. In terms of overall performance, it was one of the few machines to match the RX-78-2 Gundam, which was the standard against which other Federation suits were held to. In fact, its specifications on paper were superior to the Gundam's, and it was one of the few Federation production suits that could take on the MS-14A Gelgoog in a one-on-one fight. The armor of the GM Sniper II is reinforced with pieces of Luna Titanium alloy, and mobility is improved via sub-thrusters in various locations and a total of six large vernier thrusters – two in the backpack and four on the legs. The four large vernier thrusters in the legs have high output to make up for the shortfall in the output of the backpack thrusters, which are designed for precision, and boast superb pitching performance (rapid up and down movements). The suit's main verniers are built along the machine's core axis, an arrangement also used in later MS such as the MSA-003 Nemo and RGM-89 Jegan. This is an effective way to boost mobility while maintaining the same basic silhouette. The suit's torso is an upgraded version of the GM Command's and has superior specifications with additional waste heat and electrical noise suppression material. Its arms are constructed with the same parts used in other GM models, but with highly tuned servos and actuators and an updated driver.Only very few GM Sniper II were manufactured due to it being developed late in the war. Production costs were also undeniably higher than standard mass-produced machines, and apart from a few prototypes built for test purposes, the suit did not have any follow-up models. It is believed that the GM Sniper II's development team later worked on the Nemo, but this is unconfirmed. Due to the GM Sniper II's excellent performance and shooting capabilities, it continued to be used for sniping missions long after the war ended. Units deployed by the Titans have a dark blue color scheme and updated features such as a new optical camera system for long-range shooting and improved sensor radius.

HG 1/144 RX-78GP03S Gundam GP03S
Bandai
$21.00The RX-78GP03S Gundam "Stamen" (Development codename: Dendrobium Stamen) is a mobile suit that serves as the core unit for the RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium". It was first seen in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory OVA and was piloted by Kou Uraki. The RX-78GP03S Gundam Stamen is one of two components that make up the RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium", with the other being the armed base Orchis. The Stamen serves as the control unit for the Gundam "Dendrobium" and can operate on its own when required. The suit has two beam sabers, a folding shield, and a beam rifle as standard armament, and can optionally use folding bazookas. The traditional twin-head Vulcans were removed, with the freed space used to install more advanced avionics and sensor systems. The "Stamen" was designed with two cockpit options: a Core Block System, and a spherical cockpit with linear seat and panoramic monitors that gives its pilot a full view of the battlefield that was first used in the RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex". In the end, the spherical cockpit was selected as the default as it provided superior fire control capabilities. This is of particular importance as when the Stamen is docked with the "Orchis", it must be able to efficiently control and use the large amounts of weapons stored in the "Orchis". Another unique feature of the "Stamen" is the tail binders mounted on the sides of the waist for increased maneuverability and to dock with the Orchis. Lastly, a set of foldable manipulator arms used to retrieve weapons from the Orchis' weapon containers were concealed in the forearms of the GP03S.

HG 1/144 MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom
Bandai
$21.00The MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom is an upgraded variant of the MS-07B Gouf that was introduced shortly after the MS-09B Dom. It first appeared in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. During the deployment of the Gouf, its limited combat versatility became evident with its design concept of emphasis on hand-to-hand combat. Numerous disadvantages surfaced during operations on the battlefield, such as a lack of flexibility due to Gouf's fixed armament. The Gouf would be completely redesigned as the MS-07B-3, which was an improvement over the original. The Gouf Custom was designed with improved close-quarters shooting and detachable weapons. It was designed primarily for ace pilots preferring a lighter mobile suit that could leap and jump as opposed to the heavy, yet effective MS-09B Dom.The Gouf Custom featured multiple changes to the MS-07B, including the elimination of the awkward five-finger 75mm machine guns, replacing it with a normal manipulator and a wrist-mounted 3-barrel 35mm Machine gun. The coil-like heat rod is replaced with a magnetic grappler wire that connects and disables an enemy with an electric charge rather than damaging them. The grappler wire could also be used as a repelling line that could slow or even halt the descent of a falling Gouf in the right conditions. The shield of the Gouf was modified so that it not only stored the Gouf's heat sword but is also capable of carrying a 75mm Gatling gun, greatly enhancing the mobile suit's firepower.

HG 1/144 RX-798GP02A Gundam GP02A Physalis
Bandai
$25.00The RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis" (aka "Physalis", GP02A) is the second of four mobile suits in the Gundam Development Project featured in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Originally belonging to Earth Federation, it was stolen and piloted by Delaz Fleet's ace pilot, Anavel Gato. The Gundam "Physalis" was initially supposed to be an assault-use, heavy mobile suit similar to the Principality of Zeon's Dom series. This was eventually dropped and replaced by the goal of being the most powerful MS to date. Inadvertently, this led to the Physalis being armed with the most deadly weapon available, a nuclear warhead. The second research division of Anaheim Electronics in charge of developing the Physalis was mainly comprised of former Zeon engineers, so Zeon-based technology is strongly incorporated into the mobile suit.Due to the jamming effects of Minovsky particles, guided precision nuclear weapons were rendered unusable and because of this, strategic nuclear warheads that served as a deterrent and as a means of retaliation were useless. Thus, the only viable choice is a tactical nuclear warhead meant for use in combat situations with friendly forces nearby and tend to have a lower explosive power than the strategic nuclear warheads. However, this is not always the case, as the Mk-82 warhead used by Physalis has an explosive power comparable to a strategic nuclear warhead despite its tactical classification. The Physalis uses an atomic bazooka to launch the Mk-82 warhead, but due to the bazooka's relatively short firing range, the mobile suit's armor was designed to be both heat and shock resistant to protect itself from the nuclear blast. Similarly, to ensure the pilot's safety when the Physalis operates near the blast area, its cockpit was designed to be more impact resistance and with higher pilot survivability than normal mobile suit's. Instead of a Core Block System, the Physalis utilized a spherical cockpit block that was first proposed at the end of the One Year War, and it is protected by multiple layers of composite armor and cushioning material. The cockpit itself is also filled with powerful neutron moderators to better protect the pilot from the harmful effects of being near the blast area. In case of emergency, the cockpit can be ejected with explosive bolts. The Physalis also carried a large shield that contains a powerful cooling system. This shield also stores the barrel of the bazooka when the weapon is not in use. Other weapons of the Physalis included two head-mounted Vulcan guns and two beam sabers stored in the side skirt armor.Despite its bulky appearance, the Physalis is highly maneuverable and can hover when operating under gravity. This is thanks to the newly developed high-output generators installed in the mobile suit, as well as the pair of 'Flexible Thruster Binders' mounted on the shoulders that house multiple thrusters. Overall, the Physalis is a powerful mobile suit even without its nuclear weapon. It was also rumored to be designed to work in tandem with its brother unit, the RX-78GP01 Gundam "Zephyranthes".While nuclear weapons were abhorred due to their destructive effects, the leaders of the Earth Federation Forces viewed them as a necessary evil to maintain its superiority in the post-One Year War period. In fact, the Principality of Zeon had deployed or attempted to deploy nuclear weapons on multiple occasions during the war, even after the signing of the Antarctic Treaty. Furthermore, the Antarctic Treaty only prohibited the "use" of nuclear weapons as opposed to the "development" and "storage" of them. Thus, the Physalis was technically not a violation of the treaty. There were also some that viewed the Antarctic Treaty as a wartime treaty that was defunct in the post-war period, but there were others that thought differently. Aiguille Delaz of the Delaz Fleet, a Principality of Zeon remnant group that eventually stole the Physalis, was an example, albeit a radical one. He considered the treaty still in effect as he did not recognize the peace treaty signed at the end of the One Year War. He then used this supposed violation by the Earth Federation Forces to rationalize the capture and use of the Physalis and its nuclear weapon.

MG 1/100 Mobile Suit RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.Ka
Bandai
$34.00The RX-78-2 Gundam is the titular mobile suit of Mobile Suit Gundam television series. Part of the RX-78 Gundam series, it was built in secret on Side 7. The Gundam would turn the tide of war in favor of the Earth Federation during the One Year War against the Principality of Zeon. It was primarily piloted by Amuro Ray. What is Ver.Ka In 2002, Bandai started releasing a Master Grade line under the label of “Ver. Ka” (Version Katoki), in honor with veteran mecha designer Hajime Katori. Some of the Ver. Ka kits were produced as a result of annual fan votes.

HGUC 1/144 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex Destroy Mode (Narrative Ver.) (Gold Coating)
Bandai
$65.00 $61.00The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex (aka Phenex) is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam UC: One of Seventy Two. It also appears in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. 0096: Last Sun and the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn novel. It makes its animated debut in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative, which succeeds the events of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OVA, and is piloted by Rita Bernal. The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex was a new machine secretly built under the direction of a EFSF official who disapproved of the Vist Foundation's involvement in the UC Project. Using a psycho-frame body delivered in advance, it was assembled independently by the Earth Federation Forces and reflects the data of Units 1 and 2. Rather than that of a Unicorn, the Phenex's motif is that of a phoenix, illustrated with a much more elaborate horn/V-fin and a golden body.

RG 1/144 Gundam Astray Red Frame
Bandai
$31.00The MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame is a Mobile Suit in the Gundam SEED Astray series of manga, novels, and photonovel. It is operated by Junk Guild member Lowe Guele. The MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame is one of five identical prototype mobile suits developed by Orb using stolen data from the Earth Alliance's G Project. Its original concept was to be an MS that could be piloted by Naturals, and it was eventually loaded with an incomplete Natural-use OS. Most of the technology from the G Project is successfully copied with the exception of Phase Shift armor. In its place, the Gundam Astrays' designers made the machines out of a lighter foam metal compound, with minimal armor over the frame. This made the mobile suits lighter and faster than their G Project counterparts. All five prototype Gundam Astrays are also designed with a backpack that can be lowered to the back skirt armor, allowing the mounting of additional equipment on the back.

MG 1/100 Wing Gundam Ver.Ka XXXG-01W
Bandai
$45.00 $36.00The XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (aka Gundam Zero-One) is the titular mobile suit of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series. The unit was primarily piloted by Heero Yuy.Out of the five original Gundams created for Operation Meteor, Wing Gundam is the most well-balanced in terms of abilities and bears the closest resemblance to their common ancestor: the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero. Similar to Wing Zero, the Wing Gundam can transform into an alternate flight form known as "Bird Mode" and has a powerful Buster Rifle as part of its armaments. However, the "ZERO System" interface (which had technical problems) and other parts considered to be excessive were not included, and the skills of the pilot are needed to make up for the shortfall. The major contributor to Wing's mobility is the pair of wing units on the backpack. These units not only generate lift but can also change the aerodynamic characteristics of the mobile suit through the movements of their individual panels, supporting a range of speeds from stall to hypersonic. Even in outer space, the wing units exhibit high attitude control capability using both AMBAC and built-in vernier thrusters. By transforming into Bird Mode, Wing's mobility and movement range are increased further, allowing it to conduct operations that other Gundams could not. The leg thrusters on the back of the knees serve as the main verniers in Bird Mode and are also used for dashing on the ground in MS mode. The Wing Gundam EW is Hajime Katoki's redesign of Wing created after the release of the Gundam Wing sequel OVA/movie Endless Waltz, which has been featured in the Glory of the Losers manga re-telling of the series (among other works). The redesigned Wing retains largely the same armament and abilities, but resembles Wing Zero in appearance even more than before and can be equipped with extra energy cartridges to enable the Buster Rifle to fire a maximum of nine shots instead of three.

Full Mechanics 1/100 GAT-X370 Raider Gundam
Bandai
$64.00The GAT-X370 Raider Gundam is a transformable Mobile Suit introduced in the series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and is piloted by "Biological CPU" Clotho Buer. The Raider is a transformable mobile suit and the only second generation GAT-X machine to adopt the X300-series frame used by the GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam. Compared to the Aegis, Raider has improved anti-mobile suit capabilities when in MA mode and its transformation system is greatly simplified. It is actually a variant of the GAT-333 Raider Full Spec and maintains some of its predecessor's characteristics, like a MA mode specialized for flight and the two large fighter plane-like main wings that give it full atmospheric flight capabilities. These wings also boost Raider's turning capabilities and acceleration speed on earth and in space, as well as allow it to serve as a subflight lifter unit for carrying other mobile suits (usually the GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam). During battles, Raider often utilizes hit-and-run attacks and has Trans-Phase armor like the other second generation machines. The Raider is armed with both energy and shell-firing weapons (with some of them being usable only in flight mode) and uses the "Mjolnir" Spherical Breaker, a wire tethered mace, as its handheld weapon.

MG 1/100 Freedom Gundam Z.A.F.T. Mobile Suite ZGMF-X10A (Ver. 2.0)
Bandai
$55.00The ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam (aka Freedom, X10A) is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and piloted by Kira Yamato. One of ZAFT's ZGMF-X series of Gundam units build in C.E. 71 using technology derived from the four captured Alliance's Gundam, the Freedom Gundam has Phase Shift Armor and its armaments include CIWS guns, beam sabers, shield, plasma beam cannons, railguns, and a beam rifle. When the latter three weapons are used simultaneously, the Freedom is said to be in 'Full Burst Mode'. The suit has full flight capabilities in the atmosphere and the back-mounted wings can be deployed in "High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT) Mode" to enhance its mobility in the atmosphere or in space. It also has an advanced targeting system, the Multi Lock-On System, that allows it to target and fire at multiple enemy units simultaneously. Due to its capabilities and loadout, the suit has a reputation as a specialized 'Mobile Suit Killer', but its high performance resulted in a complicated control system that demands extremely fast reaction speed and spatial awareness from its pilot. When required, the Freedom Gundam can dock with a support unit, the METEOR unit, for heavier firepower and greater speed. The Freedom Gundam has virtually unlimited combat endurance as it is equipped with a Neutron Jammer Canceller and powered by a nuclear reactor. Kira describes the suit as having over four times the power of the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. However, what this exactly means is unclear. The Freedom Gundam is meant to operate alongside the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, and they are often based on the warship, the FFMH-Y101 Eternal, which is designed specifically to maintain them. Even in CE 73, the suit is still considered by some people, such as Shinn Asuka, as the most powerful mobile suit out there. Overall, it is one of Clyne Faction's symbols of power, along with the Eternal, the Archangel, and the Justice.

HG 1/144 GN-001 Gundam Exia
Bandai
$15.00The GN-001 Gundam Exia (aka Exia, Gundam Seven Swords) is a mobile suit featured in season one of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and is piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei.Specializing in close combat and armed mainly with melee weapons, the Gundam Exia is one of four Gundams deployed in AD 2307 by the paramilitary organization, Celestial Being, to eliminate world conflicts through armed interventions. To fight against the world with their small numbers and win, these Gundams have overwhelming power and equipped with advanced technology a century ahead of its time. Notably, the semi-perpetual GN Drive mounted in the center of the Gundams provide almost limitless energy and generates special, multifunctional GN Particles. The GN Particles grant outstanding mobility, including independent flight capabilities, and are also utilized for beam weaponry, attitude control, and stealth purposes as the discharged particles can cause electromagnetic interference, leaving conventional communication and radar devices useless. The Gundams also share common aspects with conventional mobile suits, such as the use of E-Carbon for its armor material. However, the Gundams' E-Carbon has higher defensive power due to the use of advanced materials. An example of Exia's overwhelming power is that its output was estimated to be about six times that of the SVMS-01 Union Flag, one of the newest conventional mobile suits at the time. The technical hurdles that had to be overcome to create the powerful Gundams and their GN Drives were high, making their production extremely difficult and caused the Gundams' development to occur in phases. The first generation machine, the GN-000 0 Gundam, established the basic system of a mobile suit powered by a GN Drive, and armed with a beam gun and beam saber. Subsequently, four second generation machines were developed with individual capabilities required for armed intervention, and their data served as a basis for the third generation machines, which included Exia and the other three Gundams deployed in the armed interventions. Specifically, Exia was developed from the GNY-001 Gundam Astraea, a general-purpose mobile suit with human-like movability that was used for testing various weapons, and the two machines have a number of similarities in terms of appearance. The Astraea's movability aspect is particularly appropriate for the Exia, which requires the same range of articulations as the human body due to its close combat specialization. Thus, while the Exia is armed mainly with melee weapons, its basic performance remains that of a general-purpose mobile suit. In fact, Exia is the only Gundam deployed for the armed intervention that has a body structure capable of range of articulations like the human body's, and the omission of such a structure in the other three Gundams is simply because they do not require it as their specialization is in other areas. To achieve its wide range of articulations, Exia has the most complex basic frame out of the four Gundams, its armor is also more minutely segmentalized as well. This armor design however causes some internal structures and the joints to be unprotected during certain poses, lowering Exia's defensive capability. On the other hand, this design does provides better mobility, giving Exia the best projectile evasion capability among the four Gundams. The Exia also has finer attitude control capabilities than the other Gundams, which is beneficial for close combat, and this is related to its GN Cables. The GN Cables, also known as “GN Power Lines”, are the light purple-colored cables running through various parts of the Exia's body and also one of its eye-catching visual features. While these cables are also found on other Gundams, the ones extending from the shoulders to the upper arms are unique to Exia. The cables facilitate the supply of tremendous amount of GN Particles, and thus energy, to each part of the Gundam instantaneously. They are also used for attitude control due to the GN Particles' mass reduction effect, and so, the Exia which has more cables on its exterior than the other Gundams is able to achieve finer control. In terms of defense however, such placements are dangerous, and later in GN-001REII Gundam Exia Repair II, the cables become mostly stowed in the armor. The GN Particles' mass reduction effect also lightens the Gundam, and can be used to alter the mass ratio of various body parts. Due to this latter ability, it is possible to freely control the machine's inertia and turning capabilities when in the air, and for Active Mass Balance Auto-Control (AMBAC) when in space. This also eliminates the need for the legs to "walk” when moving. As for the control of GN Particles, it is largely carried out by the two clavicle antennas on the Gundam's torso. A minor role is played by the third generation Gundams' head antenna, which is experimentally equipped with particle control functions. The head antenna also has communications and radar search functions, as well as the black box for quantum communication linkage with Veda (the Celestial Being's quantum computing system). The rest of the Gundams' humanoid head unit also contain systems responsible for controlling the entire body, much like a human's head. On a side note, the Exia's head is designed to look like the helmet of the pilot suit worn by the Gundam Meisters in AD 2307-2308 to express the belief of “Meister = Gundam”.While the GN Drive can produce GN Particles endlessly, even when the Gundams are inactive, there is a limit to the amount that could be instantaneously produced. Thus, continuous or heavy usage of beam weapons and other GN Particles consuming systems might cause the Gundams to run out of particles. To avoid this, the Gundams have GN Condensers in various body parts to store excess GN Particles. For maintenance purposes, the condensers can display the particles' compression rate and the amount stored. During mission, this display function is used for transmitting coded messages to allied units. On the matter of GN Drives, Celestial Being only created five units as that was deemed to be the minimum needed for armed interventions. The low number is not only due to difficulties in manufacturing the GN Drive, which requires Jupiter's high gravity environment, but also because having more GN Drives would increase the risk of them falling into the enemy's hands. The Gundam Exia is nicknamed “Gundam Seven Swords” as its development code was “Seven Swords”, and as indicated by this name, it is equipped with a total of seven blades to meet the needs of the moment during combat. Of these seven, the GN Sword, GN Long Blade, GN Short Blade are physical blades, while the rest are beam-based and consisted of two GN Beam Sabers and two GN Beam Daggers. The GN Sword serves as the primary weapon and due to its low energy consumption, the Exia has an advantage in prolonged combat, which mainly occurs when fighting ace pilots or when subjected to traps such as the three major bloc's joint military exercise. The three physical blades also serve as countermeasures against GN Field, a protective barrier made of GN Particles. In other words, Exia is also intended to fight against Gundam/GN Drive-equipped machine that is piloted by a betrayer or captured by the enemy and used against Celestial Being. Early on, an alternate configuration of the GN-005 Gundam Virtue also had an anti-betrayer role, but its design was dropped and this increased the responsibilities placed on Exia and its Gundam Meister.Other armaments include a GN Shield for defense that also provides protection to the internal structures and joints that might be exposed during movements. The GN Shield is usually in a compact size to maintain Exia's range of articulations, but can expand to increase the defensive area when needed. Similarly, the GN Sword, can fold its blade and has a Rifle Mode for ranged combat. The last of Exia's armament is another ranged weapon in the form of a pair of low-power GN Vulcans mounted in the forearms. During battles, the Exia gloriously sliced through its opponents in close combat, leaving a powerful impression on those who witnessed it and contributing greatly to the instillment of a "fear of Gundams" in the world. This was already anticipated by Celestial Being, and it is because of this that the organization's tactical forecaster, Sumeragi Lee Noriega, selected the Exia to intervene in the AEU-09 AEU Enact's presentation ceremony, which became the unveiling of the paramilitary organization. The Gundam Exia has an "Over Boost Mode" that temporarily boosts its GN Drive's performance and thus increase the mobile suit's capabilities. During an emergency, the Exia can activate a special "Trans-Am System" that enhances its thrust and defensive capabilities, as well as increase its output to three times that of its normal specifications for a limited period of time. This system also causes the Gundam to glow red, but it is a double-edged sword as Exia's performance will drop dramatically once it ends. A number of additional optional equipment was also developed for Exia, such as the high mobility Avalanche Unit and the GNR-001E GN Arms Type-E support machine. When equipped with the Avalanche Unit, the Exia becomes the GN-001/hs-A01 Gundam Avalanche Exia and can speed past specialized high-speed mobile suits, which it normally cannot do despite having remarkable mobility. When docked with the GN Arms Type-E, the Exia becomes the GN-001+GNR-001E GN Armor Type-E, obtaining better mobility, offensive and defensive capabilities.

RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn
Bandai
$25.00The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (aka Banshee) is a mobile suit that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. It is built alongside its brother unit, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, under the Earth Federation's UC Project. Originally piloted by Marida Cruz, it was later assigned to Riddhe Marcenas. After its completion alongside the Unicorn Gundam, the Banshee was eventually stationed on Earth with the Augusta Research Lab and tested for atmospheric combat. Rather than that of a Unicorn, the Banshee's motif is that of a lion, illustrated with gold accents on the forehead, a golden collar to signify a lion's mane (the Banshee originally had the same collar as the Unicorn but this was changed after it suffered damages while battling in space), and a much more elaborate horn/V-fin.The Banshee's armor is almost entirely black, and its psycho-frame emits a golden-orange glow when the NT-D is activated. Although the Banshee lacks the Unicorn's distinctive La+ System, its performance in atmospheric combat is vastly superior, presumably because of a significant reconfiguring of the suit's operating system to account for Earth's gravity and the atmosphere's frictional resistance.Combat improvements were made according to Unicorn Gundam's battle data, which had been relayed to the Augusta Research Lab. However, the two Gundams have no major operating differences. Aside from lacking the Unicorn's La+ operating system, the Banshee's raw performance is equal to that of the Unicorn. In other words, any modification to the Banshee (i.e. atmospheric combat performance) could also be applied to the Unicorn, making both suits equal in ability. In the anime version, it weighs more than Unit 1 and has a larger effective sensor radius. Its armament also differs from that of Unit 1, as it is equipped with the added psycho-frame armaments "Armed Armor BS" and "Armed Armor VN", granting it better continuous battle capability than Unit 1, and it is said to have a higher degree of completion.

RG Evangelion Unit-03 The Enchanted Shield of Virtue Set
Bandai
$75.00Evangelion Unit-03 (エヴァンゲリオン 3号機, "Evangerion Sangōki") is an Evangelion Unit that never sees action before being possessed by Bardiel in Episode 17 of Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was piloted by Tōji Suzuhara. Built by NERV Second Branch in Massachusetts, USA, Evangelion Unit-03 is one of two Units built with the Second Production Model design. It is the brother Unit of Unit-04 (Unit-03 and Unit-04 were oddly the only Evangelions who were addressed as males during the series). The United States government insisted on having the rights to build Unit-03 and Unit-04.A few minor changes were made between the first and second Production Models. Unit-03's color was unique, with much darker plates than any other Evangelion. The head was oddly shaped, too, with a rounded top and exaggerated chin. Unit-03 sports a predominately black color scheme with white and red highlights. It has grey eyes, as evidenced by the freeze-frame play of its destruction. However, when it first activated, red veins could be seen in the eyes of the Evangelion, showing the infection of the angel.

MG 1/100 MS-09R Rick Dom
Bandai
$61.00The MS-09R Rick Dom (リック・ドム Rikku Domu?) is a mass production space combat mobile suit and a variant of the MS-09 Dom. It was introduced in the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam. Proposed by Zimmad as one of the competing designs for Zeon's next generation space-use mobile suit in the middle stage of the One Year War, the MS-09R was a variant of the ground-use MS-09 Dom. The MS-09 was chosen as the developmental base due to its good basic design. Its block structure was a major factor that enabled its specifications to be easily changed without modifications to its basic frame. The MS-09R removed the ground-use equipment of its predecessor and replaced them with space-use equipment, increasing its propellant capacity and its vernier thruster output. The thermonuclear jet engines on its feet were replaced with thermonuclear rocket engines. Its total spec, including cost and ease of manufacture, surpassed that of the MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type, the most advanced mobile suit at the time.In addition to retaining the Dom's armaments, including its signature Giant Bazooka, some units under Dozle Zabi were said to be equipped with the experimental Beam Bazooka. Though the Rick Dom's generator output was insufficient to use beam weapons, the Beam Bazooka did not require energy from the mobile suit to be used. However, the weapon never reached mass production due to frequent explosions, though it was rumored that an improved variant of the Rick Dom capable of using the Beam Bazooka safely existed.
