The Bandai MGEX 1/100 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Ver.Ka) is a Master Grade Extreme model kit from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. As the inaugural kit in the MGEX line, it features an integrated flexible LED sheet system that replicates the Unicorn Gundam's iconic Psycoframe luminescence in both red and green, toggled by button press. This is an advanced build recommended for intermediate to experienced modelers due to the LED integration and complex transformation mechanism. Designed under the full supervision of mecha designer Katoki Hajime, this kit celebrates the 40th anniversary of Gunpla and the 25th anniversary of the Master Grade line.Key Features Flexible LED Sheet System: Integrated LED strips illuminate the Psycoframe throughout the entire body, with button-operated red and green color switching and adjustable intensity. Full Transformation: Converts between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode with the LED system intact, achieving transformation, luminescence, color variation, and articulation simultaneously. Updated Proportions by Katoki Hajime: Entirely new molds with anime-accurate proportions supervised by the original mecha designer, incorporating engineering advances from previous MG, PG, and RG Unicorn releases. Extensive Articulation: Elbows and knees bend up to approximately 165 degrees, with Emotion Manipulator hands featuring individually articulated fingers. Final Battle Configuration: Includes three shields and six Beam Gatling Guns to recreate the Unicorn Gundam's final battle loadout from the series. Dedicated MS Cage Display Base: Hangar-styled base included for dramatic display, with lead wires enabling shields to glow while detached from the main body.
