The ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam (aka Freedom, X10A) is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and is piloted by Kira Yamato. One of ZAFT's ZGMF-X series of Gundam units build in C.E. 71 using technology derived from the four captured Alliance's Gundam, the Freedom Gundam has Phase Shift Armor and its armaments include CIWS guns, beam sabers, shield, plasma beam cannons, railguns, and a beam rifle. It also has an advanced targeting system, the Multi Lock-On System, that allows it to target and fire at multiple enemy units simultaneously. Due to its capabilities and loadout, the suit has a reputation as a specialized 'Mobile Suit Killer', but its high performance resulted in a complicated control system that demands extremely fast reaction speed and spatial awareness from its pilot.When required, the Freedom Gundam can dock with a support unit, the METEOR unit, for heavier firepower and greater speed. The Freedom Gundam has virtually unlimited combat endurance as it is equipped with a Neutron Jammer Canceller and powered by a nuclear reactor. Kira describes the suit as having over four times the power of the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. However, what this exactly means is unclear. The Freedom Gundam is meant to operate alongside the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, and they are often based on the warship, the FFMH-Y101 Eternal, which is designed specifically to maintain them. Even in CE 73, the suit is still considered by some people, such as Shinn Asuka, as the most powerful mobile suit out there. Overall, it is one of the Clyne Faction's symbols of power, along with the Eternal, the Archangel, and the Justice.

The MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom is an upgraded variant of the MS-07B Gouf that was introduced shortly after the MS-09B Dom. It first appeared in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. During the deployment of the Gouf, its limited combat versatility became evident with its design concept of emphasis on hand-to-hand combat. Numerous disadvantages surfaced during operation on the battlefield, such as lack of flexibility due to the Gouf's fixed armament. The Gouf would be completely redesigned as the MS-07B-3, which was an improvement over the original. The Gouf Custom was designed with improved close quarters shooting and detachable weapons. It was designed primarily for ace pilots preferring a lighter mobile suit that could leap and jump as opposed to the heavy, yet effective MS-09B Dom.The Gouf Custom featured multiple changes to the MS-07B, including the elimination of the awkward five finger 75mm machine guns, replacing it with a normal manipulator and a wrist mounted 3-barrel 35mm Machine gun. The coil-like heat rod is replaced with a magnetic grappler wire that connects and disables an enemy with an electric charge rather than damaging them. The grappler wire could also be used as a repelling line that could slow or even halt the descent of a falling Gouf in the right conditions. The shield of the Gouf was modified so that it not only stored the Gouf's heat sword but is also capable of carrying a 75mm gatling gun, greatly enhancing the mobile suit's fire power.

The MSM-04 Acguy (アッガイ Aggai?) is an amphibious mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. Following the Zimmad Company's MSM-03 Gogg, the Zeonic Company produced their own amphibious mobile suit for the Principality of Zeon, the MSM-04 Acguy. The Acguy used many of the same parts and components as the MS-06F Zaku II, including two of the Minovsky Ultracompact Fusion Reactors used by the latter. Even with the twin reactors, the Acguy left only a trace heat signature, making it effective for stealth and infiltration operations. It is also one of the tallest amphibious mobile suit used by the Zeon during the war. About 60 units were produced according to some sources.The Acguy's weapons consisted of four 105mm vulcan guns mounted in its unusually large head. In its right forearm was a mega particle gun, but in some units, this was replaced by a vulcan gun. The right forearm also had extendable claws known as Iron Nail (along with an extendable arm to increase striking distance) for striking the Earth Federation's mobile suits and property. In the left forearm was a six-tube missile launcher. Some models also had missile launchers in the right forearm, replacing the mega particle cannon and claws.

The MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type (aka MS-06S Zaku II, MS-06S, S Type) is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam. One such unit was famously piloted by Char Aznable. Developed in response to veteran pilots' request for a high performance unit, the MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type was far more mobile than its predecessor, the MS-06F Zaku II, but was also far more difficult to control. Compared to the F Type, the S Type's vernier nozzles were enlarged, and the output of its main thrusters were increased by 30% while retaining the same size. To make space for the improved thrusters and enlarged propellant tanks, various automatic control systems of the F Type were removed. While this reduced S Type's operability, it also enabled experienced pilots to disable many unnecessary limiters and push the mobile suit to its structural limit.Other changes from the F Type included the S Type's generator being 5% lighter, and its armor composition and structure were improved, improving its overall power-weight ratio. Finally, the S Type were all equipped with a head-mounted multi-blade antenna. Though the antenna itself was identical to those found on the F Type, the structure at its base was different, giving it improved communications and enemy detection capabilities. Despite having many special internal components, the S Type still shared 80-90% of its parts with the F Type, making it easy to resupply and maintain. This also meant that like the F Type, it could easily be modified to operate in space or under gravity.

The RGM-79C GM Type C (also known as GM Kai and GM Late Type) is a mass production mobile suit based on the RGM-79[E] GM Early Type. It was introduced in the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Based on the late production type of the RGM-79 GM, the GM Type C features improved generator output and incorporates several new technology, such as sensor and devices from the GM D type and G type. Its various components were all designed to maximize reliability, ease of production, ease of maintenance, and ease of modification. The RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam (aka Full Armor Unicorn, Unicorn) is the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam equipped with an array of weapons. It is piloted by Banagher Links. The Full Armor Unicorn Gundam was an enhancement plan devised by Takuya Irei while aboard the Nahel Argama and is based on his extensive knowledge of mobile suits. After Banagher's Newtype potential manifests itself, the psycoframe changes color to a vibrant green. Unlike other mobile suits with the Full Armor designation, the FA Unicorn does not have any additional armor for the MS itself (except additional shields). However, it does introduce a large array of weapons, which are added to the legs, backpack and forearms.The new array of weapons includes two backpack-mounted hyper bazookas, numerous hand grenades, two grenade launchers, two missile pods, three pair of Gatling guns, and two additional shields, one on the backpack and the other on the right forearm. The backpack also features two boosters taken from a Base Jabber Type 94 to compensate for the increased mass, with one of the additional shields situated between them. Thanks to its large amount of armament, the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam can handle any combat situations, and all the added weaponry can be ejected whenever their ammunitions are spent to avoid becoming dead-weight. Like the normal Unicorn, the Full Armor Unicorn can take control of an enemy's psycommu weapons, even Quasi-Psycommu bits, when the NT-D is activated. What is Ver.Ka In 2002, Bandai started releasing a Master Grade line under the label of “Ver. Ka” (Version Katoki), in honor with veteran mecha designer Hajime Katori. Some of the Ver. The GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike is a prototype high mobility mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Its primary pilot was Kira Yamato before it was passed down to ace pilot Mu La Flaga. The AQM/E-X01 Aile Striker is the most commonly equipped Striker pack for the Strike as it provides the greatest versatility. Thanks to the powerful vernier thrusters built into the Aile Striker, the Strike Gundam becomes an all purpose combat mobile suit with enhanced speed and maneuverability compared to its base capabilities.Despite the strength of the thrusters, they do not perform well enough for true flight capabilities inside Earth's atmosphere. However, they do allow the Strike to glide in the air for a short time and enhance its jumping capabilities to the point that it can combat mobile suits on Guuls that are flying low. Besides the standard armament of the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, the Aile Striker pack adds a pair of beam sabers to the suit's armament.

The ν Gundam is one of the most advanced mobile suits during the Second Neo Zeon War in U.C. 0093, together with Char Aznable's MSN-04 Sazabi, it is used by Amuro Ray who also came up with its basic design. It was manufactured at Anaheim Electronics' Von Braun plant and completed in a short period of time (about three months) under the supervision of chief engineer October Saran. Its design is based on the average specification values of each successive generation of Gundam-type units from the original RX-78-2 Gundam to the MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam and updated with state-of-the-art technologies introduced at the time. Various test data collected from the ARX-014P Silver Bullet (Funnel Test Type), the YRA-90A μ Gundam, and the RX-9 Narrative Gundam were also used in its development.The ν Gundam's design focuses on versatility and operational aspects, as well as emphasizes on reliability and durability for protracted battles. It adopts unitized parts that are designed according to EFF standards, except for the Psycho-Frame, for easier procurement of parts and materials and reducing special components as much as possible. It can be easily repaired due to maintenance feedback and combat data. In addition, it reflects Amuro Ray's experience as an MS pilot cultivated over the years.Incorporating the Psycho-Frame technology secretly provided to Anaheim Electronics by Char Aznable of Neo Zeon, the ν Gundam was able to utilize Psycommu weapons and channel the emotions and mental energies of a Newtype pilot. It is also the first Gundam-type machine to be equipped with Funnels, and a newly developed MS control program is installed to account for the ν Gundam's center of mass during the separation and movement of the Funnels. Despite its short development time, the ν Gundam proved itself to be a formidable mobile suit and when combined with legendary ace pilot Amuro Ray's immense skill and experience, this powerful, state-of-the-art machine was able to almost single-handedly hold back the whole Neo Zeon force, and its Psycho-Frame was put to the test to determine the history of humanity living on earth.

The WMS-03 Maganac is a mobile suit featured in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. The WMS-03 Maganac was a mobile suit developed by the countries of the Middle East to counter OZ and the United Earth Sphere Alliance. Intended for operations in the desert, an unusual environment for mobile suits, the Maganac was given high dust-proof capabilities and mobility. Despite being mobile suits with specifications close to local types, they have high versatility and their performance surpassed the OZ-06MS Leo. The Maganac was also developed to be operated in cooperation with the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock. Almost all of the 40 units were individually customized to have different abilities and traits such as enhanced melee combat capabilities and communication functions depending on their pilots' skills and roles, there is also the commander type piloted by Rasid Kurama, the leader of the Corps. They can also be adapted for operations in space.

The GN-005 Gundam Virtue (aka Gundam Virtue, Gundam Virtue Particle, Virtue) is a mobile suit featured in season one of Mobile Suit Gundam 00. It is piloted by Tieria Erde. A heavily armed and armored mobile suit, the Gundam Virtue has the highest offensive and defensive power among the third-generation Gundams deployed in AD 2307 by the Celestial Being, a paramilitary organization aiming to eliminate world conflicts through armed interventions. Specializing in artillery warfare for fleet battles and assaulting enemy strongholds, the Virtue's firepower is unmatched among contemporaries thanks to heavy beam weaponry, consisting of a GN Bazooka and two GN Cannons. As Virtue is not meant for anti-mobile suit combat, its only melee weapon is a pair of GN Beam Sabers. Due to its large size, Virtue's mobility and evasive capabilities are lower than the other Gundams, but these weaknesses are mitigated by its high defensive strength in the form of heavy armor and the ability to generate a 360-degree GN Field barrier around itself that can nullify most physical and beam attacks.The Virtue demonstrated impressive propulsion capabilities when it was shown to be capable of overcoming the combined thrust of six MSJ-06II-E Tieren Space Types. Like the other Gundams, Virtue has a semi-perpetual GN Drive in the center of its body that provides almost limitless energy and generates special, multifunctional GN Particles. The GN Particles have a unique mass reduction effect and because of this, the heavily equipped Virtue can operate efficiently and weighs only half as much as the similarly bulky MSJ-06II-A Tieren Ground Type operated by the Human Reform League. This reduction effect remains even when the Virtue is not operating as the GN Drive continues to function. The GN Particles are also utilized for propulsion, beam weaponry, generation of GN Field, attitude control, and stealth purposes as they can cause electromagnetic interference, leaving conventional communications and radar devices useless.Due to the heavy GN Particle demand of Virtue's beam weaponry and GN Field, large capacity GN Condensers are mounted throughout its body to store excess particles produced by the GN Drive when the Gundam is not operating. The GN Particles are primarily controlled through a pair of torso-mounted clavicle antennas, and light purple-colored "GN Cables" are installed in various locations to facilitate the supply of these particles to each part of the Gundam and for attitude control purposes. In an emergency, the Virtue can activate the special "Trans-Am System" to enhance its thrust and defensive strength, as well as increase its output to three times that of its normal specifications for a limited time period. The Virtue glows red as a side-effect and though Trans-Am boosts the power of its beam weaponry, this system is also a double-edged sword as Virtue's performance will drop dramatically once it ends.Besides the Trans-Am System, which is also utilized by other Gundams, the Virtue has another method of responding to emergencies that is unique, it can purge its armor to reveal the GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh. However, this was not the original intention of the armor purging mechanism, which was meant for the simultaneous switch to Nadleeh while activating the latter's Trial System. The concept of hiding a Gundam within another Gundam can be traced to the common predecessor of Virtue and Nadleeh – the second generation GNY-004 Gundam Plutone, which is fitted with an ejectable flight unit known as the "Core Fighter". The Plutone is also the first Gundam capable of generating a 360-degree GN Field, but its generation system is not as stable as Virtue's. The Nadleeh is concealed to prevent its Trial System, an ability to stop betrayers, from being discovered and for effective utilization of the limited numbers of GN Drives that Celestial Being has.Among the third-generation Gundams, Virtue's development was the slowest. At that time, the current form of Virtue was also known as "Gundam Virtue Particle" to differentiate it from an alternate design, the physical projectile-based GN-005/PH Gundam Virtue Physical. Both designs are prepared by Veda, Celestial Being's quantum computing system, based on its predictions about armed intervention missions. Despite their differences, both Virtue Particle and Virtue Physical are designed as artillery units for anti-fleet and anti-stronghold combat, this ensures the Nadleeh is positioned at the rear and could quickly return to the base or mothership to be outfitted with more effective equipment to stop betrayers. In the end, after studying the results of multiple joint exercises involving the four Gundam Meisters, Veda chose Virtue Particle as it displayed better cooperability with the other Gundams.Veda rejected the idea of keeping the Virtue Physical as alternate equipment because switching equipment mid-mission is expected to be very difficult due to the lean manpower and the design of the mothership. There is also the worry that the enemy might discover the hidden Nadleeh by observing the commonalities between the two equipment sets. The Gundam Virtue is eventually succeeded by the reborn Celestial Being's GN-008 Seravee Gundam, which is also an anti-fleet and anti-stronghold mobile suit equipped with multiple beam cannons and GN Field. Data from the Gundam Virtue is also utilized in the development of the CBY-077 GN Cannon and the GNZ-003 Gadessa, the former is part of Veda's alternate plan for armed intervention and the latter is used by an enemy of the reborn Celestial Being.

The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam (aka Strike Freedom, Freedom) is the successor of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Kira Yamato. A mobile suit tuned to meet Kira Yamato's needs, the Strike Freedom has Variable Phase Shift armor, and like its predecessor, ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, is primarily armed with powerful ranged weapons. Its armaments include head-mounted CIWS, an abdomen-mounted multi-phase beam cannon, hip-mounted railguns, combine-able beam sabers and beam rifles, DRAGOON pods controlled by the new Super DRAGOON system and beam shields. It is powered by the new Hyper-Deuterion Engine, and is also equipped with the Neutron Jammer Canceller and the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system.Due to Kira's stellar piloting, his mobile suit is rarely hit during combat and thus Strike Freedom's design emphasizes maneuverability over its armor's defensive capabilities, though beam shields were installed as a compensatory defensive measure. As a result, its armor is split into smaller pieces to improve the movement range of the joints (a similar armor-splitting system was also implemented in ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam). To compensate for exposing more of its internal parts, the suit's internal skeleton and joints adopted PS armor materials. When these parts phase-shift, they gain strength and near human flexibility. Additionally, excess residual energy within the body can be discharged through the joints' glowing effects.The internal PS armor materials also help to withstand the massive output and Gs caused by the Hyper Deuterion engine and the new propulsion system, playing a role in increasing Strike Freedom's mobility. However, the main contributor to the MS's superior mobility are the mobile weapon wings, which can be deployed in the "High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT)" Mode to enhance the suit's mobility in the atmosphere or in space. The wings also features a variant of the "Voiture Lumiere" propulsion system, which can generate a visual effect called the "Wings of the Skies" similar to ZGMF-X42S Destiny's Wings of Light and is used as a means of high speed movement.The Strike Freedom's Super DRAGOONs are based on ZAFT's second generation DRAGOON system, with additional unique modifications. Designed for Kira's use, they allow him to hit more targets at once using the Multi Lock-On System and Full Burst Mode as compared to when he was piloting the original Freedom. They also grant Kira the ability to hit the enemy from multiple directions remotely. Like the Freedom, Strike Freedom is designed to operate alongside another mobile suit, in this case, the ZGMF-X19A ∞ Justice Gundam and is stationed on board the warship Eternal. It also has full flight capabilities in the atmosphere and can dock with the METEOR unit to further augment its firepower.
