MG 1/100 Gundam Astray Turn Red MBF-02VV
Bandai
$85.00The MBF-02VV Gundam Astray Turn Red is a Mobile Suit appearing in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray R photonovel. The Gundam Astray Turn Red is a mobile suit created by Valerio Valeri for his own use. However, since the suit is fully controlled by the combat AI called "80", he does not need to do any actual piloting, although he still sits in the cockpit. The suit has a custom head unit and backpack. Its main body is constructed using MBF-P0X Gundam Astray Noir's spare parts and its body color is basically a reverse of MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame's (hence the suit's name). The Turn Red is usually armed with a pair of head-mounted CIWS and a pair of Tactical Arms on its back, but it can also be equipped with the same type of beam rifle, beam sabers and shield as the Red Frame. It also carries additional power packs for the Tactical Arms like MBF-P03secondL Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second L. The mobile suit is supposed to be used alongside CAT1-VGR Hyperion GR and CAT1-VGL Hyperion GL, both are commandeered by the Turn Red itself and serve as its protectors during battle. The Turn Red is installed with the Trio System to improve its cooperation with the other two AI-controlled suits.
MG 1/100 Gundam Virtue Celestial Being GN-005
Bandai
$83.00The GN-005 Gundam Virtue (aka Gundam Virtue, Gundam Virtue Particle, Virtue) is a mobile suit featured in season one of Mobile Suit Gundam 00. It is piloted by Tieria Erde. A heavily armed and armored mobile suit, the Gundam Virtue has the highest offensive and defensive power among the third-generation Gundams deployed in AD 2307 by the Celestial Being, a paramilitary organization aiming to eliminate world conflicts through armed interventions. Specializing in artillery warfare for fleet battles and assaulting enemy strongholds, the Virtue's firepower is unmatched among contemporaries thanks to heavy beam weaponry, consisting of a GN Bazooka and two GN Cannons. As Virtue is not meant for anti-mobile suit combat, its only melee weapon is a pair of GN Beam Sabers. Due to its large size, Virtue's mobility and evasive capabilities are lower than the other Gundams, but these weaknesses are mitigated by its high defensive strength in the form of heavy armor and the ability to generate a 360-degree GN Field barrier around itself that can nullify most physical and beam attacks. The Virtue demonstrated impressive propulsion capabilities when it was shown to be capable of overcoming the combined thrust of six MSJ-06II-E Tieren Space Types. Like the other Gundams, Virtue has a semi-perpetual GN Drive in the center of its body that provides almost limitless energy and generates special, multifunctional GN Particles. The GN Particles have a unique mass reduction effect and because of this, the heavily equipped Virtue can operate efficiently and weighs only half as much as the similarly bulky MSJ-06II-A Tieren Ground Type operated by the Human Reform League. This reduction effect remains even when the Virtue is not operating as the GN Drive continues to function. The GN Particles are also utilized for propulsion, beam weaponry, generation of GN Field, attitude control, and stealth purposes as they can cause electromagnetic interference, leaving conventional communications and radar devices useless.Due to the heavy GN Particle demand of Virtue's beam weaponry and GN Field, large capacity GN Condensers are mounted throughout its body to store excess particles produced by the GN Drive when the Gundam is not operating. The GN Particles are primarily controlled through a pair of torso-mounted clavicle antennas, and light purple-colored "GN Cables" are installed in various locations to facilitate the supply of these particles to each part of the Gundam and for attitude control purposes. In an emergency, the Virtue can activate the special "Trans-Am System" to enhance its thrust and defensive strength, as well as increase its output to three times that of its normal specifications for a limited time period. The Virtue glows red as a side-effect and though Trans-Am boosts the power of its beam weaponry, this system is also a double-edged sword as Virtue's performance will drop dramatically once it ends.Besides the Trans-Am System, which is also utilized by other Gundams, the Virtue has another method of responding to emergencies that is unique, it can purge its armor to reveal the GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh. However, this was not the original intention of the armor purging mechanism, which was meant for the simultaneous switch to Nadleeh while activating the latter's Trial System. The concept of hiding a Gundam within another Gundam can be traced to the common predecessor of Virtue and Nadleeh – the second generation GNY-004 Gundam Plutone, which is fitted with an ejectable flight unit known as the "Core Fighter". The Plutone is also the first Gundam capable of generating a 360-degree GN Field, but its generation system is not as stable as Virtue's. The Nadleeh is concealed to prevent its Trial System, an ability to stop betrayers, from being discovered and for effective utilization of the limited numbers of GN Drives that Celestial Being has.Among the third-generation Gundams, Virtue's development was the slowest. At that time, the current form of Virtue was also known as "Gundam Virtue Particle" to differentiate it from an alternate design, the physical projectile-based GN-005/PH Gundam Virtue Physical. Both designs are prepared by Veda, Celestial Being's quantum computing system, based on its predictions about armed intervention missions. Despite their differences, both Virtue Particle and Virtue Physical are designed as artillery units for anti-fleet and anti-stronghold combat, this ensures the Nadleeh is positioned at the rear and could quickly return to the base or mothership to be outfitted with more effective equipment to stop betrayers. In the end, after studying the results of multiple joint exercises involving the four Gundam Meisters, Veda chose Virtue Particle as it displayed better cooperability with the other Gundams.Veda rejected the idea of keeping the Virtue Physical as alternate equipment because switching equipment mid-mission is expected to be very difficult due to the lean manpower and the design of the mothership. There is also the worry that the enemy might discover the hidden Nadleeh by observing the commonalities between the two equipment sets. The Gundam Virtue is eventually succeeded by the reborn Celestial Being's GN-008 Seravee Gundam, which is also an anti-fleet and anti-stronghold mobile suit equipped with multiple beam cannons and GN Field. Data from the Gundam Virtue is also utilized in the development of the CBY-077 GN Cannon and the GNZ-003 Gadessa, the former is part of Veda's alternate plan for armed intervention and the latter is used by an enemy of the reborn Celestial Being.
MG 1/100 MBF-02+EW454F Strike Rouge + Ootori (Ver. RM)
Bandai
$51.00The MBF-02+EW454F Strike Rouge Ootori is a variant of MBF-02 Strike Rouge introduced in the HD Remaster of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is primary piloted by Cagalli Yula Athha, and later by Kira Yamato. The Strike Rouge Ootori is the Strike Rouge equipped with the multi-purpose EW454F Ootori Striker, which Morgenroete Inc. has been developing since the first war. The Ootori Striker is a striker pack based on the P202QX IWSP (Integrated Weapons Striker Pack) and is also meant to allow a MS to handle various situations without changing equipment. However, it has a simpler structure leading to better reliability and ease of maintenance.Compared to the Aile Striker, Ootori Striker's flight system is a vast improvement as it is capable of powered flight in the atmosphere. The pack is equipped with a beam launcher, railgun, large anti-ship sword, missile launcher and several wing-mounted missiles. The droptanks on the bottom wings contain a stealth support system that utilizes mirage colloid but not much detail is known. In addition, the Ootori Striker can function as an independent unit when it is separated from the Strike Rouge.
MG 1/100 MBF-P03D Gundam Astray Blue Frame D
Bandai
$59.00The MBF-P03D Gundam Astray Blue Frame D is a variant of the Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second L/G in the novel Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray B. It is piloted by Gai Murakumo. Produced in the Ame-no-Mihashira's factory by Gai, the Gundam Astray Blue Frame D is a close combat unit created to battle Dante Gordigiani's MBF-P0X Gundam Astray Noir. Although it is a variant of the Blue Frame Second L and Astray Blue Frame Second G, the Gundam Astray Blue Frame D swaps out most of their parts for parts of the original Blue Frame. Newly designed parts are also fitted in some areas and a striker pack connector has been added to the suit's back so that it can mount the Vouivre Striker, a modified AQM/E-X01 Aile Striker. The suit is armed with 10 blades and gives the impression that it is designed to get close to the enemy using the powerful output from the Vouivre Striker and then engaged in close combat. However, these blades are actually DRAGOONs with unique abilities and most of them can also be used as handheld weaponry. Gai later upgrades the suit with a pair of blade guns that are mounted underneath the arms.
MG 1/100 Mobile Suit RX-93 Nu Gundam Ver.Ka
Bandai
$90.00 $82.00The ν Gundam is one of the most advanced mobile suits during the Second Neo Zeon War in U.C. 0093, together with Char Aznable's MSN-04 Sazabi, it is used by Amuro Ray who also came up with its basic design. It was manufactured at Anaheim Electronics' Von Braun plant and completed in a short period of time (about three months) under the supervision of chief engineer October Saran. Its design is based on the average specification values of each successive generation of Gundam-type units from the original RX-78-2 Gundam to the MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam and updated with state-of-the-art technologies introduced at the time. Various test data collected from the ARX-014P Silver Bullet (Funnel Test Type), the YRA-90A μ Gundam, and the RX-9 Narrative Gundam were also used in its development. The ν Gundam's design focuses on versatility and operational aspects, as well as emphasizes on reliability and durability for protracted battles. It adopts unitized parts that are designed according to EFF standards, except for the Psycho-Frame, for easier procurement of parts and materials and reducing special components as much as possible. It can be easily repaired due to maintenance feedback and combat data. In addition, it reflects Amuro Ray's experience as an MS pilot cultivated over the years.Incorporating the Psycho-Frame technology secretly provided to Anaheim Electronics by Char Aznable of Neo Zeon, the ν Gundam was able to utilize Psycommu weapons and channel the emotions and mental energies of a Newtype pilot. It is also the first Gundam-type machine to be equipped with Funnels, and a newly developed MS control program is installed to account for the ν Gundam's center of mass during the separation and movement of the Funnels. Despite its short development time, the ν Gundam proved itself to be a formidable mobile suit and when combined with legendary ace pilot Amuro Ray's immense skill and experience, this powerful, state-of-the-art machine was able to almost single-handedly hold back the whole Neo Zeon force, and its Psycho-Frame was put to the test to determine the history of humanity living on earth.

MG 1/100 MS-06S Zaku II
Bandai
$47.00The MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type (aka MS-06S Zaku II, MS-06S, S Type) is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam. One such unit was famously piloted by Char Aznable. Developed in response to veteran pilots' request for a high performance unit, the MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type was far more mobile than its predecessor, the MS-06F Zaku II, but was also far more difficult to control. Compared to the F Type, the S Type's vernier nozzles were enlarged, and the output of its main thrusters were increased by 30% while retaining the same size. To make space for the improved thrusters and enlarged propellant tanks, various automatic control systems of the F Type were removed. While this reduced S Type's operability, it also enabled experienced pilots to disable many unnecessary limiters and push the mobile suit to its structural limit.Other changes from the F Type included the S Type's generator being 5% lighter, and its armor composition and structure were improved, improving its overall power-weight ratio. Finally, the S Type were all equipped with a head-mounted multi-blade antenna. Though the antenna itself was identical to those found on the F Type, the structure at its base was different, giving it improved communications and enemy detection capabilities. Despite having many special internal components, the S Type still shared 80-90% of its parts with the F Type, making it easy to resupply and maintain. This also meant that like the F Type, it could easily be modified to operate in space or under gravity.
MG 1/100 MS-07B Gundam Gouf Ver.2.0
Bandai
$51.00 $40.29The MS-07B Gouf is a mass production close-quarters combat ground mobile suit. It was first featured in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. The MS-07B Gouf is designed specifically for Earth-based, close-quarter MS combat. It featured much-improved mobility with a powerful backpack and leg-mounted thrusters for jet-assisted jumps based on the YMS-08A High Mobility Test Type. For armaments, it has the 5-barrel 75mm machine gun in its left hand and a heat rod, which could be used as a superheated slicing weapon or as a grappling weapon with a powerful electric shock effect. It also had a powerful heat sword stored within a shield, and could also use the standard Zaku II weapons, such as the 120mm machine gun or the 280mm bazooka. The Gouf outclassed the MS-06 Zaku II in terms of speed, power output, and melee combat ability, but its overall performance was not great enough to be justified by its increased cost. The Gouf's production was cut short by the development of a more cost efficient unit, the more powerful and nimble MS-09B Dom. Despite its very short production run, several variations were produced in limited numbers and it was still deployed across the world alongside Zakus and Doms. One customized unit was piloted by Visch Donahue, which had the original 5-fingered machine gun left hand replaced by a normal manipulator hand, in its place a 3-barrel 35mm machine gun was mounted on the left forearm.
MG 1/100 MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom
Bandai
$41.00The MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom is an upgraded variant of the MS-07B Gouf that was introduced shortly after the MS-09B Dom. It first appeared in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. During the deployment of the Gouf, its limited combat versatility became evident with its design concept of emphasis on hand-to-hand combat. Numerous disadvantages surfaced during operation on the battlefield, such as lack of flexibility due to the Gouf's fixed armament. The Gouf would be completely redesigned as the MS-07B-3, which was an improvement over the original. The Gouf Custom was designed with improved close quarters shooting and detachable weapons. It was designed primarily for ace pilots preferring a lighter mobile suit that could leap and jump as opposed to the heavy, yet effective MS-09B Dom.The Gouf Custom featured multiple changes to the MS-07B, including the elimination of the awkward five finger 75mm machine guns, replacing it with a normal manipulator and a wrist mounted 3-barrel 35mm Machine gun. The coil-like heat rod is replaced with a magnetic grappler wire that connects and disables an enemy with an electric charge rather than damaging them. The grappler wire could also be used as a repelling line that could slow or even halt the descent of a falling Gouf in the right conditions. The shield of the Gouf was modified so that it not only stored the Gouf's heat sword but is also capable of carrying a 75mm gatling gun, greatly enhancing the mobile suit's fire power.
MG 1/100 MS-09 Dom/2022
Bandai
$61.00The MS-09 Dom (aka MS-09B Dom) is a mass-production ground combat mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam. Its most well known pilots are the Black Tri-Stars.
MG 1/100 MS-09R Rick Dom
Bandai
$61.00The MS-09R Rick Dom (リック・ドム Rikku Domu?) is a mass production space combat mobile suit and a variant of the MS-09 Dom. It was introduced in the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam. Proposed by Zimmad as one of the competing designs for Zeon's next generation space-use mobile suit in the middle stage of the One Year War, the MS-09R was a variant of the ground-use MS-09 Dom. The MS-09 was chosen as the developmental base due to its good basic design. Its block structure was a major factor that enabled its specifications to be easily changed without modifications to its basic frame. The MS-09R removed the ground-use equipment of its predecessor and replaced them with space-use equipment, increasing its propellant capacity and its vernier thruster output. The thermonuclear jet engines on its feet were replaced with thermonuclear rocket engines. Its total spec, including cost and ease of manufacture, surpassed that of the MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type, the most advanced mobile suit at the time.In addition to retaining the Dom's armaments, including its signature Giant Bazooka, some units under Dozle Zabi were said to be equipped with the experimental Beam Bazooka. Though the Rick Dom's generator output was insufficient to use beam weapons, the Beam Bazooka did not require energy from the mobile suit to be used. However, the weapon never reached mass production due to frequent explosions, though it was rumored that an improved variant of the Rick Dom capable of using the Beam Bazooka safely existed.
MG 1/100 MS-14S Char's Gelgoog Ver 2.0
Bandai
$55.00The MS-14S (YMS-14) Gelgoog Commander Type is a commander mobile suit that entered production as the MS-14A Gelgoog. Featuring a high-powered generator, various thrusters to aid mobility, a large pointed oval-shaped shield, a Beam Rifle, and a Beam Naginata, the MS-14S Gelgoog Commander Type rivals the capabilities of the Earth Federation's RX-78-2 Gundam. In fact, compared to the Gundam, the Gelgoog Commander Type is slightly faster, more mobile and possesses a more powerful generator and beam weapon selection; this was proven by Char during his first sortie in his personal unit against Amuro Ray's Gundam during the One Year War. On the other hand, it has thinner and less durable armor than the Gundam (which is built with Luna Titanium Alloy), and the lack of built-in weapons makes the Gelgoog easier to disarm (which Amuro literally did) and leave weaponless.
MG 1/100 MSM-04 Acguy
Bandai
$54.00The MSM-04 Acguy (アッガイ Aggai?) is an amphibious mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. Following the Zimmad Company's MSM-03 Gogg, the Zeonic Company produced their own amphibious mobile suit for the Principality of Zeon, the MSM-04 Acguy. The Acguy used many of the same parts and components as the MS-06F Zaku II, including two of the Minovsky Ultracompact Fusion Reactors used by the latter. Even with the twin reactors, the Acguy left only a trace heat signature, making it effective for stealth and infiltration operations. It is also one of the tallest amphibious mobile suit used by the Zeon during the war. About 60 units were produced according to some sources. The Acguy's weapons consisted of four 105mm vulcan guns mounted in its unusually large head. In its right forearm was a mega particle gun, but in some units, this was replaced by a vulcan gun. The right forearm also had extendable claws known as Iron Nail (along with an extendable arm to increase striking distance) for striking the Earth Federation's mobile suits and property. In the left forearm was a six-tube missile launcher. Some models also had missile launchers in the right forearm, replacing the mega particle cannon and claws.
MG 1/100 MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) (Ver. Ka)
Bandai
$83.00The MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein is a mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative and is piloted by Zoltan Akkanen. The MSN-06S Sinanju Stein was developed to test the durability and follow-up capabilities of the Psycho-Frame. Two units of the Mobile Suit, referred to using the development code "Stein 01", were later stolen by the Neo Zeon remnants, the Sleeves. One unit was remodeled as the MSN-06S Sinanju and used as the flagship MS of the organization. In UC 0097, the other unit was seen in the fight over the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex and was embellished with the engravings that became root for the name of The Sleeves.
MG 1/100 MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam (Ver.Ka)
Bandai
$79.00The MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam was the titular mobile suit of the anime Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. It was also featured in the sequel series Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. Developed as part of Project Zeta, a third generation mobile suit development plan launched by Anaheim Electronics upon request from the AEUG, the Zeta Gundam was a revolutionary Transformable Mobile Suit (TMS). While Anaheim's previous attempt at creating a TMS, the MSN-001 Delta Gundam, failed due to issues with its transformable movable frame, the Zeta Gundam solved this problem by studying the design concept of the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II's movable frame, which had an excellent basic design. In addition, it adopted Gundarium γ alloy armor, previously used on Anaheim's RMS-099 Rick Dias. The Zeta Gundam was capable of transforming into a cruising mode known as "Wave Rider Mode". In this form, the Zeta Gundam adopted a wedge shape, concentrating the shockwave generated by supersonic flight underneath it and riding the resulting wave, hence its name. In this form, it was capable of entering the atmosphere without any optional equipment thanks to the Flying Armor mounted on the movable frame on its back, which protected it from shockwave and heat during atmospheric entry. The Flying Armor was based on data from the support vehicle of the same name, and could be replaced with other equipment, such as the Wing Binders for the Wave Shooter specification. The Wave Rider Mode could also function as a sub-flight system for other mobile suit.Due to the Zeta Gundam's complex transformation mechanism, it was impossible to mount generators in its upper body. Instead, it was equipped with a generator in each shin, a design concept inspired by the RX-78GP01-Fb Gundam "Zephyranthes" Full Burnern. Its legs were also installed with thermonuclear jet/rocket hybrid engines, which were capable of functioning both in space and in the atmosphere, allowing the Zeta Gundam to engage in aerial combat immediately after atmospheric entry. The Zeta Gundam's weapons were highly systematic and presented almost no hindrance when carried. It was armed with a pair of head-mounted vulcan guns, a pair of beam sabers stored in the side skirt armor that served as beam guns in Wave Rider Mode, a pair of forearm-mounted grenade launchers, an E-pac powered beam rifle, a shield attached to the left forearm that served as the Wave Rider Mode's nose unit, and the Hyper Mega Launcher, a powerful beam weapon developed from the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki's Mega Bazooka Launcher. Thanks to these weapons, it was capable of handling nearly all battlefield situations. Finally, the Zeta Gundam was equipped with the Bio-Sensor, a Quasi-Psycommu device that assisted with the mobile suit's controls using the pilot's brainwaves, improving its responsiveness. Though details about this device was unclear, there were instances of it allowing the Zeta Gundam to demonstrate abilities beyond its specifications during combat. Overall, the Zeta Gundam had exceptionally high operability and was regarded as a masterpiece of the Gryps Conflict era.
MG 1/100 MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam (Ver.Ka)
Bandai
$78.00The MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam (aka ΖΖ Gundam, ZZ; pronounced "Double Zeta") is the titular mobile suit of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and is piloted by Judau Ashta. A direct development of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, the ΖΖ Gundam, which had been completed through a prototype, was given the development code "θ" (thus also known as the "θ Gundam") as it was the sixth "Anaheim Gundam" after the RMS-099 Rick Dias (also known as “γ Gundam”). The development plan of the ΖΖ Gundam existed two years before the completion of the Zeta Gundam but was shelved due to internal competition and production delays. However, the performance advantage of the Zeta Gundam against new Titans mobile suits did not last long, and so development of the ΖΖ Gundam was resumed. The ΖΖ Gundam sought to reproduce the operating functions of the RX-78-2 Gundam and the G-Armor in a single machine. An advanced form of the RX-78-2 Gundam's Core Block System was also introduced. As a result, the ΖΖ Gundam can transform into a mobile armor form called the G-Fortress, which acts as a heavy combat bomber and for cruising in space and on earth. The ΖΖ Gundam can also separate into two independent fighter units, called the Core Top and Core Base. The Core Base, consisting of the ΖΖ's lower body and backpack, is operated through the FXA-07GB Neo Core Fighter attached to its front. The Core Top, consisting of the ΖΖ's upper body and double beam rifle, is operated through the cockpit in its nose unit or more frequently through the Neo Core Fighter, which is in its Core Block form, attached to the lower rear. The team on board the "Argama" typically operates the ΖΖ Gundam with a third Neo Core Fighter piloted by the Gundam's main pilot, Judau Ashta. When combining into the ΖΖ Gundam, forming the G-Fortress mode is the first step and consists of the Core Top and Core Base ejecting their Neo Core Fighters to dock with Judau's Neo Core Fighter in Core Block form. When transforming from the G-Fortress mode to MS mode, the large verniers in the arms and legs are retracted. However, this does not reduce total thrust as the surplus output is supplied to the attitude control thrusters distributed throughout the body and the number of operable thrusters are actually increased. Other parts that move during transformation include the flexible wing binders that also serve as arm-mounted wings shields, the shoulder thruster binders, the large backpack, etc.The engine installed in the backpack is originally meant for ships and could supply power for an entire ship. It also functions as the main thruster unit of the ΖΖ Gundam when in MS form, generating thrust equivalent to that of a large ship. The ΖΖ Gundam's armor is a multi-spaced structure composed of Gundarium γ alloy, capable of withstanding a mobile suit explosion at close range and resisting high water pressure. While it is impossible to completely defend against a direct hit of a mega particle beam, the wings shields are strong enough to prevent a direct hit on the cockpit. With its overall height limited to around 20 meters as requested by AEUG to maintain mobility, the ΖΖ Gundam's design also incorporated the movable frame and magnet coating technology. The generator output which had caused problems during early stages of ΖΖ's development was resolved by incorporating three compact, high-output generators. The movable modules and armor parts, which have a multi-layered structure, are connected by hinges and slide rails which have magnet coating, making them flexible and robust while allowing instantaneous transformation of the ΖΖ Gundam. However, the complexity of the system resulted in poor maintainability and productivity also deteriorated. The control system of the ΖΖ Gundam is equipped with a Bio-Sensor, which is a simplified Psycommu system, as an interface for Newtype pilots. An improved version of the Biosensor installed in the Zeta Gundam, it improves the responsiveness of the mobile suit by supporting the control system with the pilot's brainwaves. However, as a protective measure, the Biosensor is inactive when a pilot with low Newtype abilities boards the ΖΖ Gundam. The unit is mounted in the ΖΖ Gundam's Core Block and the synchronization of the device is improved by inputting the brainwave patterns of the Neo Core Fighter's pilot. The ΖΖ Gundam has a number of powerful weaponry, including two hyper beam sabers which are also usable as beam cannons, a double beam rifle, a 21-tube missile launcher installed on the backpack, and a high mega cannon on the forehead. While the ΖΖ has a very destructive arsenal, its weapons systems require a high level of energy. As a result, the ΖΖ often found itself almost completely drained of power after using its high mega cannon. The ΖΖ Gundam's structural issues due to its complicated construction and transformation systems were eventually corrected with the MSZ-010S Enhanced ZZ Gundam and its massive final upgrade FA-010S Full Armor ZZ Gundam.
MG 1/100 RGM-89 Jegan
Bandai
$49.00The RGM-89 Jegan is a mass-produced general-purpose mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. A state-of-the-art machine adopted by the Earth Federation Forces in U.C. 0089 as its main force mobile suit, the Jegan comes from the lineage of the RGM-79 GM as inferred by its "RGM" model number. However, it was not developed by the Earth Federation Forces' own engineers like most previous RGM series mobile suit. Instead, it was produced and supplied by the Anaheim Electronics (AE). Created through combining the Earth Federation Forces' expertise of the GM series with AE's MS development technologies, the Jegan's performance is significantly higher than the RGM-86R GM III. It also has improved productivity due to the use of Titanium Alloy Ceramic Composite armor, as well as high operability, and excellent versatility. All these allows it to become the "next-generation standard MS", and it operated as the main force MS for a long period of time. Several variations of the MS were also developed. The original Jegan is sometimes referred to as "Jegan Type-A" to differentiate it from later variants, and should not be confused with the later RGM-89R Jegan A-Type.The Jegan highly exemplified the original concept of MS being "mobile infantry for melee combat", and is designed for close combat in and around space colonies. It can also operate under gravity without any modifications. With a backpack containing a single main thruster, two small thrusters at the bottom, and two articulated vernier arms at the top, the Jegan's thrust and acceleration performance could match-high mobility-type machines from the Gryps War-era. Its backpack also featured exchangeable propellant tanks. Also notable are the verniers for attitude controls on the front shoulder armor, enlarged centre shoulder armor sections to fit the side thrusters, and a calf-mounted thruster on each leg. The use of lightened armor grants the machine high maneuverability, its front skirt armor is removed to maintain the legs' range of articulation, while its head has a long-range sensor installed in the forehead in addition to the fixed main sensors. The Jegan is armed with mainly short-range weaponry, including a beam saber, a short-range type beam rifle, three hand grenades, a vulcan pod system, and a shield with twin missile launchers.
MG 1/100 RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam Ver.Ka
Bandai
$103.00The RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam (aka Full Armor Unicorn, Unicorn) is the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam equipped with an array of weapons. It is piloted by Banagher Links. The Full Armor Unicorn Gundam was an enhancement plan devised by Takuya Irei while aboard the Nahel Argama and is based on his extensive knowledge of mobile suits. After Banagher's Newtype potential manifests itself, the psycoframe changes color to a vibrant green. Unlike other mobile suits with the Full Armor designation, the FA Unicorn does not have any additional armor for the MS itself (except additional shields). However, it does introduce a large array of weapons, which are added to the legs, backpack and forearms. The new array of weapons includes two backpack-mounted hyper bazookas, numerous hand grenades, two grenade launchers, two missile pods, three pair of Gatling guns, and two additional shields, one on the backpack and the other on the right forearm. The backpack also features two boosters taken from a Base Jabber Type 94 to compensate for the increased mass, with one of the additional shields situated between them. Thanks to its large amount of armament, the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam can handle any combat situations, and all the added weaponry can be ejected whenever their ammunitions are spent to avoid becoming dead-weight. Like the normal Unicorn, the Full Armor Unicorn can take control of an enemy's psycommu weapons, even Quasi-Psycommu bits, when the NT-D is activated. What is Ver.Ka In 2002, Bandai started releasing a Master Grade line under the label of “Ver. Ka” (Version Katoki), in honor with veteran mecha designer Hajime Katori. Some of the Ver. Ka kits were produced as a result of annual fan votes.
MG 1/100 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee
Bandai
$57.00The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (aka Banshee) is a mobile suit that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. It is built alongside its brother unit, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, under the Earth Federation's UC Project. Originally piloted by Marida Cruz, it was later assigned to Riddhe Marcenas. After its completion alongside the Unicorn Gundam, the Banshee was eventually stationed on Earth with the Augusta Research Lab and tested for atmospheric combat. Rather than that of a Unicorn, the Banshee's motif is that of a lion, illustrated with gold accents on the forehead, a golden collar to signify a lion's mane (the Banshee originally had the same collar as the Unicorn but this was changed after it suffered damages while battling in space), and a much more elaborate horn/V-fin.The Banshee's armor is almost entirely black, and its psycho-frame emits a golden-orange glow when the NT-D is activated. Although the Banshee lacks the Unicorn's distinctive La+ System, its performance in atmospheric combat is vastly superior, presumably because of a significant reconfiguring of the suit's operating system to account for Earth's gravity and the atmosphere's frictional resistance.Combat improvements were made according to Unicorn Gundam's battle data, which had been relayed to the Augusta Research Lab. However, the two Gundams have no major operating differences. Aside from lacking the Unicorn's La+ operating system, the Banshee's raw performance is equal to that of the Unicorn. In other words, any modification to the Banshee (i.e. atmospheric combat performance) could also be applied to the Unicorn, making both suits equal in ability. In the anime version, it weighs more than Unit 1 and has a larger effective sensor radius. Its armament also differs from that of Unit 1, as it is equipped with the added psycho-frame armaments "Armed Armor BS" and "Armed Armor VN", granting it better continuous battle capability than Unit 1, and it is said to have a higher degree of completion.
MG 1/100 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex (Gold Coating)
Bandai
$160.00 $142.00The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex[1] (aka Phenex) is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam UC: One of Seventy Two. It also appears in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. 0096: Last Sun and the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn novel. It makes its animated debut in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative, which succeeds the events of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OVA, and is piloted by Rita Bernal. The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex was a new machine secretly built under the direction of a EFSF official who disapproved of the Vist Foundation's involvement in the UC Project. Using a psycho-frame body delivered in advance, it was assembled independently by the Earth Federation Forces and reflects the data of Units 1 and 2. Rather than that of a Unicorn, the Phenex's motif is that of a phoenix, illustrated with a much more elaborate horn/V-fin and a golden body.
