        HG 1/144 HGUC RMS-106 Hi-Zack
Bandai
$13.00The RMS-106 Hizack (aka Hi-Zack) is a mass-production general-purpose mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. It was based on the MS-06 Zaku II series and was used by EFF groups, including the Titans, during the Gryps War. A mass-produced mobile suit developed at Granada with help from Anaheim Electronics, which absorbed the Zeonic Company which was once the major mobile suit developer for the Principality of Zeon. While the Hizack's external appearance resembles that of Zeon's famous Zaku II, it was a vast improvement over the older mobile suit. The Hizack's design incorporated both Earth Federation and Zeon technologies, with the latter contributing to it having the same high operating reliability and ease of production as the Zaku II. Data from the MS-06F2 Zaku II F2 Type was also referenced during development. The Hizack is outfitted with a titanium alloy ceramic composite armor and has a higher output generator than that of a Zaku. It is also faster and more agile than its predecessors and is easy to pilot. The Hizack is most often equipped with a 120mm machine gun kai, beam saber, or heat hawk. It sometimes uses a beam rifle, but due to its low generator output, it can only carry one beam weapon at a time. The Hizack can also be equipped with missile pods. Although the Titans were assigned to wipe out the remnants of Zeon forces, their Hizack uses a similar dark green color scheme. Meanwhile, the regular Earth Federation Forces used a dark blue color for their units.

PG 1/60 Perfect Grade GN-001 Gundam Exia
Bandai
$211.00The GN-001 Gundam Exia (aka Exia, Gundam Seven Swords) is a mobile suit featured in season one of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and is piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei. Specializing in close combat and armed mainly with melee weapons, the Gundam Exia is one of four Gundams deployed in AD 2307 by the paramilitary organization, Celestial Being, to eliminate world conflicts through armed interventions. To fight against the world with their small numbers and win, these Gundams have overwhelming power and equipped with advanced technology a century ahead of its time. Notably, the semi-perpetual GN Drive mounted in the center of the Gundams provide almost limitless energy and generates special, multifunctional GN Particles. The GN Particles grant outstanding mobility, including independent flight capabilities, and are also utilized for beam weaponry, attitude control, and stealth purposes as the discharged particles can cause electromagnetic interference, leaving conventional communication and radar devices useless. The Gundams also share common aspects with conventional mobile suits, such as the use of E-Carbon for its armor material. However, the Gundams' E-Carbon has higher defensive power due to the use of advanced materials. An example of Exia's overwhelming power is that its output was estimated to be about six times that of the SVMS-01 Union Flag, one of the newest conventional mobile suits at the time. The technical hurdles that had to be overcome to create the powerful Gundams and their GN Drives were high, making their production extremely difficult and caused the Gundams' development to occur in phases. The first generation machine, the GN-000 0 Gundam, established the basic system of a mobile suit powered by a GN Drive, and armed with a beam gun and beam saber. Subsequently, four second generation machines were developed with individual capabilities required for armed intervention, and their data served as a basis for the third generation machines, which included Exia and the other three Gundams deployed in the armed interventions. Specifically, Exia was developed from the GNY-001 Gundam Astraea, a general-purpose mobile suit with human-like movability that was used for testing various weapons, and the two machines have a number of similarities in terms of appearance. The Astraea's movability aspect is particularly appropriate for the Exia, which requires the same range of articulations as the human body due to its close combat specialization. Thus, while the Exia is armed mainly with melee weapons, its basic performance remains that of a general-purpose mobile suit. In fact, Exia is the only Gundam deployed for the armed intervention that has a body structure capable of range of articulations like the human body's, and the omission of such a structure in the other three Gundams is simply because they do not require it as their specialization is in other areas. To achieve its wide range of articulations, Exia has the most complex basic frame out of the four Gundams, its armor is also more minutely segmentalized as well. This armor design however causes some internal structures and the joints to be unprotected during certain poses, lowering Exia's defensive capability. On the other hand, this design does provides better mobility, giving Exia the best projectile evasion capability among the four Gundams. The Exia also has finer attitude control capabilities than the other Gundams, which is beneficial for close combat, and this is related to its GN Cables. The GN Cables, also known as “GN Power Lines”, are the light purple-colored cables running through various parts of the Exia's body and also one of its eye-catching visual features. While these cables are also found on other Gundams, the ones extending from the shoulders to the upper arms are unique to Exia. The cables facilitate the supply of tremendous amount of GN Particles, and thus energy, to each part of the Gundam instantaneously. They are also used for attitude control due to the GN Particles' mass reduction effect, and so, the Exia which has more cables on its exterior than the other Gundams is able to achieve finer control. In terms of defense however, such placements are dangerous, and later in GN-001REII Gundam Exia Repair II, the cables become mostly stowed in the armor. The GN Particles' mass reduction effect also lightens the Gundam, and can be used to alter the mass ratio of various body parts. Due to this latter ability, it is possible to freely control the machine's inertia and turning capabilities when in the air, and for Active Mass Balance Auto-Control (AMBAC) when in space. This also eliminates the need for the legs to "walk” when moving. As for the control of GN Particles, it is largely carried out by the two clavicle antennas on the Gundam's torso. A minor role is played by the third generation Gundams' head antenna, which is experimentally equipped with particle control functions. The head antenna also has communications and radar search functions, as well as the black box for quantum communication linkage with Veda (the Celestial Being's quantum computing system). The rest of the Gundams' humanoid head unit also contain systems responsible for controlling the entire body, much like a human's head. On a side note, the Exia's head is designed to look like the helmet of the pilot suit worn by the Gundam Meisters in AD 2307-2308 to express the belief of “Meister = Gundam”.While the GN Drive can produce GN Particles endlessly, even when the Gundams are inactive, there is a limit to the amount that could be instantaneously produced. Thus, continuous or heavy usage of beam weapons and other GN Particles consuming systems might cause the Gundams to run out of particles. To avoid this, the Gundams have GN Condensers in various body parts to store excess GN Particles. For maintenance purposes, the condensers can display the particles' compression rate and the amount stored. During mission, this display function is used for transmitting coded messages to allied units. On the matter of GN Drives, Celestial Being only created five units as that was deemed to be the minimum needed for armed interventions. The low number is not only due to difficulties in manufacturing the GN Drive, which requires Jupiter's high gravity environment, but also because having more GN Drives would increase the risk of them falling into the enemy's hands. The Gundam Exia is nicknamed “Gundam Seven Swords” as its development code was “Seven Swords”, and as indicated by this name, it is equipped with a total of seven blades to meet the needs of the moment during combat. Of these seven, the GN Sword, GN Long Blade, GN Short Blade are physical blades, while the rest are beam-based and consisted of two GN Beam Sabers and two GN Beam Daggers. The GN Sword serves as the primary weapon and due to its low energy consumption, the Exia has an advantage in prolonged combat, which mainly occurs when fighting ace pilots or when subjected to traps such as the three major bloc's joint military exercise. The three physical blades also serve as countermeasures against GN Field, a protective barrier made of GN Particles. In other words, Exia is also intended to fight against Gundam/GN Drive-equipped machine that is piloted by a betrayer or captured by the enemy and used against Celestial Being. Early on, an alternate configuration of the GN-005 Gundam Virtue also had an anti-betrayer role, but its design was dropped and this increased the responsibilities placed on Exia and its Gundam Meister.Other armaments include a GN Shield for defense that also provides protection to the internal structures and joints that might be exposed during movements. The GN Shield is usually in a compact size to maintain Exia's range of articulations, but can expand to increase the defensive area when needed. Similarly, the GN Sword, can fold its blade and has a Rifle Mode for ranged combat. The last of Exia's armament is another ranged weapon in the form of a pair of low-power GN Vulcans mounted in the forearms. During battles, the Exia gloriously sliced through its opponents in close combat, leaving a powerful impression on those who witnessed it and contributing greatly to the instillment of a "fear of Gundams" in the world. This was already anticipated by Celestial Being, and it is because of this that the organization's tactical forecaster, Sumeragi Lee Noriega, selected the Exia to intervene in the AEU-09 AEU Enact's presentation ceremony, which became the unveiling of the paramilitary organization. The Gundam Exia has an "Over Boost Mode" that temporarily boosts its GN Drive's performance and thus increase the mobile suit's capabilities. During an emergency, the Exia can activate a special "Trans-Am System" that enhances its thrust and defensive capabilities, as well as increase its output to three times that of its normal specifications for a limited period of time. This system also causes the Gundam to glow red, but it is a double-edged sword as Exia's performance will drop dramatically once it ends. A number of additional optional equipment was also developed for Exia, such as the high mobility Avalanche Unit and the GNR-001E GN Arms Type-E support machine. When equipped with the Avalanche Unit, the Exia becomes the GN-001/hs-A01 Gundam Avalanche Exia and can speed past specialized high-speed mobile suits, which it normally cannot do despite having remarkable mobility. When docked with the GN Arms Type-E, the Exia becomes the GN-001+GNR-001E GN Armor Type-E, obtaining better mobility, offensive and defensive capabilities.

Mega Size 1/48 MSM RX-78-2 Gundam
Bandai
$92.00The RX-78-2 Gundam is the titular mobile suit of Mobile Suit Gundam television series. Part of the RX-78 Gundam series, it was built in secret on Side 7. The Gundam would turn the tide of war in favor of the Earth Federation during the One Year War against the Principality of Zeon. It was primarily piloted by Amuro Ray. The Gundam was incredibly advanced for its time. Built from lightweight Luna Titanium Alloy, its frame was both lighter than that of Zeon's mass-produced mobile suits and much sturdier, able to shrug off a MS-06 Zaku II's machine gun fire with little to no damage. Its offensive power was above and beyond that of the Zakus. The Gundam would engage in most battles with its beam rifle, making it the first mobile suit to have firepower equivalent to a battleship's beam cannons. In addition, it made use of two beam sabers, blades of extremely hot plasma which could cut through any metal with ease. Those beam sabers could be extended into a spear-like beam javelin, which could be used to stab into an enemy from a longer distance. The Gundam also used more conventional weaponry; it could launch rockets with a "Hyper Bazooka", the Federation's answer to the bazookas used by Zeon's Zakus; in addition, its head was outfitted with a pair of small vulcan guns, as a way of attacking light-armored aircraft and vehicles without wasting ammo or energy from its more powerful armaments. It also made use of a very unconventional close-range weapon known as the "Gundam Hammer" - a large weapon similar to a flail which could be swung at enemies to deal crushing damage. The Gundam Hammer was eventually upgraded for use in space and outfitted with a number of verniers on the ball, and renamed to be the "Hyper Hammer". Lastly, it wielded a shield which would offer it a defense against enemy attacks that not even its Luna Titanium body could withstand without damage. Gundam pilot, Amuro Ray, would make use of the shield as a decoy in many battles, taking advantage of its size to fool the enemy into thinking he was charging at them, then attacking the enemy through the shield. In terms of technology, the Gundam was equipped with a sophisticated Learning Computer which would collect pilot and enemy data during skirmishes and allow the Gundam to operate more effectively. The data from the computer was used by the Federation to improve the controls of the Gundam's mass-produced form, the RGM-79 GM. In addition, it was upgraded by Federation technician Mosque Han shortly before the Battle of A Baoa Qu to improve its reaction times, the joints of the Gundam were given a Magnet Coating, based on the experimental procedure performed on the RX-78-3 "G-3" Gundam and later used on Amuro's intended successor unit, the RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex".The Gundam makes use of the Core Block System implemented in the other V Project units. The torso of the Gundam is mostly hollow so that a FF-X7 Core Fighter can dock with it. This allows the pilot to jettison the legs and torso of the Gundam should the machine be too heavily damaged and gives the pilot a chance to escape from battle. Later, during Operation Odessa, the Gundam is given a support unit known as the G-Fighter. The two G-Fighters were designed to take advantage of the Gundam's modular system and diversify the Gundam's role in active combat. These modes ranged from the assault bomber G-Armor to the close combat support tank G-Bull. Officially, it is called a prototype, but it is also said to be more of a custom-made machine that is finished with high quality materials and the best technology.

        MG 1/100 ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam
Bandai
$61.00The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and is piloted by Rau Le Creuset. Like the other ZGMF-X series of Gundams created by ZAFT in CE 71, the Providence is equipped with Neutron Jammer Canceller and powered by a nuclear reactor. It is also armored with Phase Shift armor and features armaments reverse engineered from the stolen mobile suits of the Earth Alliance. Initially designed as a close combat unit with large beam sabers, the Providence is later changed into a DRAGOON system equipped unit when Rau Le Creuset is designated as its pilot and because it could be powered by the nuclear reactor, but it still retains the heavy armor of the former's design. As this change is made after the main body's design is completed, some of the new parts could not be integrated into the body. An example is the six quantum communication cables running from the backpack to the chest that are mounted externally due to lack of interior space. Though exposed, these cables still have solid protection as they are covered by Phase Shift armor. The DRAGOON system is the Providence's main weapon and is first tested on the YMF-X000A Dreadnought Gundam. It allows pilot with high spatial awareness, like Rau, to control multiple wireless guided weapon pods through quantum communication, hence enabling a single mobile suit to simultaneously battle with multiple enemies and attack from multiple directions, including its blindspot. The Providence's DRAGOON system is mounted on the large backpack and the hips, and includes 11 weapon pods that mount a total of 43 beam gun. Paired with the Multi Lock-On System, it is virtually impossible for these weapon pods to miss its mark. The suit's backpack has thrusters of different sizes to prevent loss of mobility caused by added weight of the DRAGOON Systems. Other armaments of the suit include four CIWS guns, a shield with two beam guns and a large beam saber, and a hand-carried large beam rifle. It was considered one of the most powerful mobile suits in C.E.71.

        MG 1/100 Wing Gundam Ver.Ka XXXG-01W
Bandai
$45.00 $37.00The XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (aka Gundam Zero-One) is the titular mobile suit of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series. The unit was primarily piloted by Heero Yuy.Out of the five original Gundams created for Operation Meteor, Wing Gundam is the most well-balanced in terms of abilities and bears the closest resemblance to their common ancestor: the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero. Similar to Wing Zero, the Wing Gundam can transform into an alternate flight form known as "Bird Mode" and has a powerful Buster Rifle as part of its armaments. However, the "ZERO System" interface (which had technical problems) and other parts considered to be excessive were not included, and the skills of the pilot are needed to make up for the shortfall. The major contributor to Wing's mobility is the pair of wing units on the backpack. These units not only generate lift but can also change the aerodynamic characteristics of the mobile suit through the movements of their individual panels, supporting a range of speeds from stall to hypersonic. Even in outer space, the wing units exhibit high attitude control capability using both AMBAC and built-in vernier thrusters. By transforming into Bird Mode, Wing's mobility and movement range are increased further, allowing it to conduct operations that other Gundams could not. The leg thrusters on the back of the knees serve as the main verniers in Bird Mode and are also used for dashing on the ground in MS mode. The Wing Gundam EW is Hajime Katoki's redesign of Wing created after the release of the Gundam Wing sequel OVA/movie Endless Waltz, which has been featured in the Glory of the Losers manga re-telling of the series (among other works). The redesigned Wing retains largely the same armament and abilities, but resembles Wing Zero in appearance even more than before and can be equipped with extra energy cartridges to enable the Buster Rifle to fire a maximum of nine shots instead of three.

HG 1/144 HGGS MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame
Bandai
$15.00The MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame is a Mobile Suit introduced in the manga series Gundam SEED Astray and featured in the photo-novel Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray B. It is piloted by Gai Murakumo. The MBF-P03 Astray Blue Frame was one of five identical prototype combat mobile suits developed using stolen data from the Earth Alliance's G Project and was designated for testing optional equipment. Its computer contains data and blueprints for various optional equipment. Most of the technology from the G Project was successfully copied with the exception of Phase Shift armor. In its place the Astrays' designers made the machines out of a lighter foaming metal compound and were built with minimal armor over the frame. This made the Astray mobile suits lighter and faster than their G Project counterparts.Originally, the Astray Blue Frame was armed with the standard armament of the other prototype Astray suits. These weapons include two head-mounted "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS, two back-mounted beam sabers for close combat, a Type 71 beam rifle, and a single physical shield. However its mercenary pilot used his resources to outfit the Astray Blue Frame with a wide variety of equipment to suit multiple combat situations and to meet the needs of different mission. Like the other prototype Astray suits, Astray Blue Frame's backpack can be lowered to the back skirt armor, allowing the mounting of additional equipment on its back.

The ZGMF/A-262PD-P Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam is the combination of the ZGMF/A-262B Strike Freedom Gundam Type II and the MDE262S Proud Defender support craft, replacing the Super DRAGOON wing backpack and giving it enhanced combat ability. It uses advanced nanoparticle technology controlled by its wings to create various offensive and defensive abilities, including the creation of a spherical energy shield capable of absorbing heavy attacks from all directions, and a wide-scale electric attack that can shut down enemy targets and destroy projectiles within a large area around it.

HG 1/144 HGIBO ASW-G-66 Gundam Kimaris Vidar
Bandai
$17.00The ASW-G-66 Gundam Kimaris Vidar is a mobile suit introduced in the second season of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS. It is piloted by Gaelio Bauduin. After Vidar removed his mask and revealed himself to be Gaelio Bauduin, the Gundam Vidar was retrofitted into the Gundam Kimaris Vidar, reclaiming the name Kimaris. This conversion was conducted quickly as it was planned from the beginning. The Gundam Vidar's Alaya-Vijnana Type E was retained, but the third Ahab Reactor was purged as it only served to hide the suit's true identity, which is no longer needed. The Gundam Kimaris Vidar is meant for the decisive battle against McGillis Fareed and his Gundam Bael. This variation of the Kimaris has existed since the Calamity War era.The Gundam Kimaris Vidar's equipment is the same as those used in the Calamity War era, and meant to give it an advantage in zero-gravity combat, making it the polar opposite of the Gundam Kimaris Trooper, whose equipment is meant for ground combat. Besides having a drill lance and a sword as its main weapons, Kimaris Vidar is also armed with a pair of drill knee and two shields. With its variety of weapons, the suit has the potential to be used in any range, and is considered to have a high level of completion amongst the Kimaris’ variations. Like the Gundam Kimaris and Gundam Kimaris Trooper, the Gundam Kimaris Vidar's primary battle style involves hit-and-run attacks with its lance.

        MG 1/100 MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam (Ver.Ka)
Bandai
$71.00The MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam (aka ΖΖ Gundam, ZZ; pronounced "Double Zeta") is the titular mobile suit of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and is piloted by Judau Ashta. A direct development of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, the ΖΖ Gundam, which had been completed through a prototype, was given the development code "θ" (thus also known as the "θ Gundam") as it was the sixth "Anaheim Gundam" after the RMS-099 Rick Dias (also known as “γ Gundam”). The development plan of the ΖΖ Gundam existed two years before the completion of the Zeta Gundam but was shelved due to internal competition and production delays. However, the performance advantage of the Zeta Gundam against new Titans mobile suits did not last long, and so development of the ΖΖ Gundam was resumed. The ΖΖ Gundam sought to reproduce the operating functions of the RX-78-2 Gundam and the G-Armor in a single machine. An advanced form of the RX-78-2 Gundam's Core Block System was also introduced. As a result, the ΖΖ Gundam can transform into a mobile armor form called the G-Fortress, which acts as a heavy combat bomber and for cruising in space and on earth. The ΖΖ Gundam can also separate into two independent fighter units, called the Core Top and Core Base. The Core Base, consisting of the ΖΖ's lower body and backpack, is operated through the FXA-07GB Neo Core Fighter attached to its front. The Core Top, consisting of the ΖΖ's upper body and double beam rifle, is operated through the cockpit in its nose unit or more frequently through the Neo Core Fighter, which is in its Core Block form, attached to the lower rear. The team on board the "Argama" typically operates the ΖΖ Gundam with a third Neo Core Fighter piloted by the Gundam's main pilot, Judau Ashta. When combining into the ΖΖ Gundam, forming the G-Fortress mode is the first step and consists of the Core Top and Core Base ejecting their Neo Core Fighters to dock with Judau's Neo Core Fighter in Core Block form. When transforming from the G-Fortress mode to MS mode, the large verniers in the arms and legs are retracted. However, this does not reduce total thrust as the surplus output is supplied to the attitude control thrusters distributed throughout the body and the number of operable thrusters are actually increased. Other parts that move during transformation include the flexible wing binders that also serve as arm-mounted wings shields, the shoulder thruster binders, the large backpack, etc.The engine installed in the backpack is originally meant for ships and could supply power for an entire ship. It also functions as the main thruster unit of the ΖΖ Gundam when in MS form, generating thrust equivalent to that of a large ship. The ΖΖ Gundam's armor is a multi-spaced structure composed of Gundarium γ alloy, capable of withstanding a mobile suit explosion at close range and resisting high water pressure. While it is impossible to completely defend against a direct hit of a mega particle beam, the wings shields are strong enough to prevent a direct hit on the cockpit. With its overall height limited to around 20 meters as requested by AEUG to maintain mobility, the ΖΖ Gundam's design also incorporated the movable frame and magnet coating technology. The generator output which had caused problems during early stages of ΖΖ's development was resolved by incorporating three compact, high-output generators. The movable modules and armor parts, which have a multi-layered structure, are connected by hinges and slide rails which have magnet coating, making them flexible and robust while allowing instantaneous transformation of the ΖΖ Gundam. However, the complexity of the system resulted in poor maintainability and productivity also deteriorated. The control system of the ΖΖ Gundam is equipped with a Bio-Sensor, which is a simplified Psycommu system, as an interface for Newtype pilots. An improved version of the Biosensor installed in the Zeta Gundam, it improves the responsiveness of the mobile suit by supporting the control system with the pilot's brainwaves. However, as a protective measure, the Biosensor is inactive when a pilot with low Newtype abilities boards the ΖΖ Gundam. The unit is mounted in the ΖΖ Gundam's Core Block and the synchronization of the device is improved by inputting the brainwave patterns of the Neo Core Fighter's pilot. The ΖΖ Gundam has a number of powerful weaponry, including two hyper beam sabers which are also usable as beam cannons, a double beam rifle, a 21-tube missile launcher installed on the backpack, and a high mega cannon on the forehead. While the ΖΖ has a very destructive arsenal, its weapons systems require a high level of energy. As a result, the ΖΖ often found itself almost completely drained of power after using its high mega cannon. The ΖΖ Gundam's structural issues due to its complicated construction and transformation systems were eventually corrected with the MSZ-010S Enhanced ZZ Gundam and its massive final upgrade FA-010S Full Armor ZZ Gundam.

MG 1/100 Gundam Dynames Celestial Being GN-002
Bandai
$47.00The GN-002 Gundam Dynames (aka Gundam Dynames, Dynames) is a mobile suit featured in season one of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and is piloted by Lockon Stratos. Using combat data obtained from the Gundam Astray Blue Frame Third, the Blue Frame Second L was upgraded into the Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise. The new MS has better balance and its main weapon, Tactical Arms II, is an improved version of the original Tactical Arms and has 2 new forms, Gatling Arm and Sword Arm. Blue Frame 2nd Revise retains the other weapons of Second L as well as the Trans Phase Armor system around the cockpit. It also stores additional power packs on its rear skirts, which are often used together with the Gatling form. Like the original Blue Frame, the Blue Frame 2nd Revise can be equipped with the Scale System for aquatic missions. The paramilitary organization, Celestial Being, deployed several Gundams in AD 2307 to eliminate world conflicts through armed interventions, and the Gundam Dynames which specialized in long-range shooting is one of them. Like its fellow Gundams, Dynames has a semi-perpetual GN Drive in the center of its body that provides almost limitless energy and produces special, multifunctional GN Particles. The GN Particles grant outstanding mobility and are also utilized for beam weaponry, attitude control, and stealth purposes as they can cause electromagnetic interference, leaving conventional communications and radar devices useless. The Dynames is a third-generation unit developed using the operational data from the second-generation GNY-002 Gundam Sadalsuud, inheriting the reconnaissance mobile suit's powerful sensing capabilities that are now utilized for long-range shooting.During combat, the Dynames primarily serve as a sniper as well as a fire support unit for its allies. Its main weapon is the extremely long-range and powerful GN Sniper Rifle, and when operating this rifle, Dynames is in "Sniper Mode", whereby the Gun Camera hidden in its head is exposed and a precision shooting scope in the cockpit is deployed. The Dynames is however not just limited to long-range attacks as it has a variety of guns and weapons, allowing it to engage in close to mid-range combat when needed, and adapt to various types of missions (including solo missions) as well as changing battlefield conditions. Other standard armaments of the Dynames included GN Beam Sabers on its rear waist unit for close combat, GN Missiles on its knees and front waist armor that can be used to deter approaching enemies, and a GN Shield on the left shoulder for defense. As for optional armaments, it can equip GN Beam Pistols for close to mid-range combat, a GN Full Shield for enhanced defensive capabilities, and a Super Substratospheric Altitude Gun to snipe targets outside the atmosphere from the ground.Besides mounting the GN Beam Sabers, the Dynames' rear waist unit can be used to support the Gundam when it is shooting from seated positions and has a pair of propulsion systems, known as GN Verniers, that create thrust by releasing GN Particles. These verniers are also utilized by other Gundams and have a mechanism whereby their cores are revealed when being activated and when increasing their output. Additionally, the verniers can be moved at the point of attachment, allowing their thrust direction to be adjusted. The overall layout of the Dynames' cockpit is similar to other third-generation Gundams, except for two differences. The first is the aforementioned precision shooting scope stored in the ceiling that lowers down when in use and retracts when not needed. The second is a dock on the right side for placing the individual support AI, Haro, which serves as a sub-pilot, controlling various aspects of the Dynames so the Gundam Meister, Lockon Stratos, can focus on shooting using the precision shooting scope. The third generation Gundams deployed in AD 2307 have several common pieces of equipment, including a pair of clavicle antennas on the torso that serves as the primary control device for the GN Particles, light purple-colored "GN Cables" on various body locations to facilitate the supply of GN Particles to each part of the Gundam and for attitude control purposes, and GN Condensers placed throughout the body to store excess GN Particles, ensuring a reserve of particles that the Gundam can rely on when its operation consumed more than what the GN Drive can produce instantaneously. There is also the special "Trans-Am System" that the Gundams can activate during an emergency to enhance their thrust and defensive capabilities, as well as increase their output to three times that of their normal specifications for a limited time period. This system also causes the Gundams to glow red, and in Dynames' case, its shooting accuracy is improved as well. Unfortunately, this system is a double-edged sword, as the Gundams' performance will drop dramatically once it ends. Additional optional equipment was also developed for the Dynames, such as the set of a sub-aquatic sniper rifle and accompanying sensors that change it into the GN-002/DG014 Gundam Dynames Torpedo and the GNR-001D GN Arms Type-D support mecha that it can dock with to form the more powerful GN-002+GNR-001D GN Armor Type-D. A successor machine with all-around improved performance is later developed based on the Dynames' data and it is known as the GN-006 Cherudim Gundam. Additionally, the Dynames that was moderately damaged during the battle with the UN Forces was eventually refurbished into the GN-002RE Gundam Dynames Repair and deployed on Earth following the defeat of the A-Laws and the Innovators.

PG 1/60 Perfect Grade ZGMF-X10A Strike Freedom Gundam Seed Destiny
Bandai
$360.00 $296.00The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam (aka Strike Freedom, Freedom) is the successor of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam. Introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, it is piloted by Kira Yamato. A mobile suit tuned to meet Kira Yamato's needs, the Strike Freedom has Variable Phase Shift armor, and like its predecessor, ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, is primarily armed with powerful ranged weapons. Its armaments include head-mounted CIWS, an abdomen-mounted multi-phase beam cannon, hip-mounted railguns, combine-able beam sabers and beam rifles, DRAGOON pods controlled by the new Super DRAGOON system and beam shields. It is powered by the new Hyper-Deuterion Engine, and is also equipped with the Neutron Jammer Canceller and the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system.Due to Kira's stellar piloting, his mobile suit is rarely hit during combat and thus Strike Freedom's design emphasizes maneuverability over its armor's defensive capabilities, though beam shields were installed as a compensatory defensive measure. As a result, its armor is split into smaller pieces to improve the movement range of the joints (a similar armor-splitting system was also implemented in ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam). To compensate for exposing more of its internal parts, the suit's internal skeleton and joints adopted PS armor materials. When these parts phase-shift, they gain strength and near human flexibility. Additionally, excess residual energy within the body can be discharged through the joints' glowing effects. The internal PS armor materials also help to withstand the massive output and Gs caused by the Hyper Deuterion engine and the new propulsion system, playing a role in increasing Strike Freedom's mobility. However, the main contributor to the MS's superior mobility are the mobile weapon wings, which can be deployed in the "High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT)" Mode to enhance the suit's mobility in the atmosphere or in space. The wings also features a variant of the "Voiture Lumiere" propulsion system, which can generate a visual effect called the "Wings of the Skies" similar to ZGMF-X42S Destiny's Wings of Light and is used as a means of high speed movement. The Strike Freedom's Super DRAGOONs are based on ZAFT's second generation DRAGOON system, with additional unique modifications. Designed for Kira's use, they allow him to hit more targets at once using the Multi Lock-On System and Full Burst Mode as compared to when he was piloting the original Freedom. They also grant Kira the ability to hit the enemy from multiple directions remotely. Like the Freedom, Strike Freedom is designed to operate alongside another mobile suit, in this case, the ZGMF-X19A ∞ Justice Gundam and is stationed on board the warship Eternal. It also has full flight capabilities in the atmosphere and can dock with the METEOR unit to further augment its firepower.

HG 1/144 HGUC RX-77-02 Guncannon (Cucuruz Doan's Island Ver.)
Bandai
$30.00The RX-77-2 Guncannon was a mobile suit used by the Earth Federation Forces introduced in the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam. A middle-range support mobile suit developed simultaneously with the RX-78 Gundam and the RX-75 Guntank as part of Operation V, the Guncannon adopted the same Core Block System as the other two units. Due to its role as an artillery support unit, the Guncannon's design prioritized durability over mobility, and it was not equipped with any melee weapons. However, its armor was particularly heavy, capable of surviving a direct hit from an MS-09R Rick Dom's giant bazooka.Similar to the Guntank, the Guncannon's main weapons were a pair of shell-firing cannons, chosen for their reliability over beam weapons. These cannons could be optionally swapped out for a pair of spray missile launchers. Unlike the Guntank, however, the Guncannon's generator output allowed it to equip a beam rifle. It was also equipped with a pair of head-mounted Vulcan guns and hand grenades for attacking enemy strongholds.Though its head design appeared to be simpler than the Gundam's head, the Guncannon's sensor system was in fact more complicated than the Gundam's due to its need to engage in artillery warfare. This "twin eyes with goggles" sensor design were later inherited by the RGM-79 GM. While the Guncannon's mobility was adversely affected by its weight, it was still comparable to that of the Zeon's MS-06 Zaku II. Furthermore, the backpack thrusters have sufficient thrust to enable jumping maneuvers under gravity for a short period of time.
