The Bandai Perfect Grade (PG) 1/60 ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam is a large-scale snap-fit plastic model kit based on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. Redesigned by Hajime Katoki, this was the first PG kit he supervised and remains one of the largest Perfect Grade kits ever produced when its Super DRAGOON wings are fully deployed. This is an advanced-level build recommended for experienced builders due to its high part count, complex internal frame construction, and intricate wing mechanisms. The Strike Freedom is piloted by Kira Yamato and serves as the successor to the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam in the series.
Key Features
Expandable Super DRAGOON System: Eight Super DRAGOON wings feature spring-loaded deployment gimmicks, making this the largest PG kit when fully deployed.
Gold-Finished Inner Frame: The internal skeleton uses extra-finish gold-colored parts that are revealed through sliding armor panels and movable joints during HiMAT and Full Burst Mode poses.
LED Head Unit: An included LED unit illuminates the eyes when powered by a CR1220 battery (sold separately).
Fully Articulated Construction: Double-jointed elbows and knees, fully articulated fingers, sliding hip joint axes, and improved joint mechanisms provide exceptional posability and stability.
Dedicated Display Base: An adjustable-angle display stand is included for dynamic aerial action poses.
Comprehensive Weapon Loadout: Includes two beam rifles, two railguns, two beam sabers, and a beam shield with clear PET part.
Kira Yamato Pilot Figure: A 1/60 scale seated pilot figurine is included.
