Description

The Bandai MG 1/100 ASW-G-XX Gundam Vidar is a Master Grade model kit from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, built at 1/100 scale. Developed under the supervision of mechanical designer Ippei Gyoubu, this kit features a fully updated Gundam Frame with expanded shoulder articulation, plated cylinder parts, and interlocking knee armor mechanics. This is an intermediate to advanced level build recommended for modelers comfortable with inner frame construction and detailed assembly. The Gundam Vidar is the second Iron-Blooded Orphans mobile suit to join the MG line, following the MG Gundam Barbatos.

  • Updated Gundam Frame: The internal skeleton features expanded shoulder joint range of motion and plated cylinder parts that move in conjunction with the frame's articulation.
  • Deployable Hunter Edges: The toe and heel Hunter Edge blades can be deployed for combat poses.
  • Interlocking Knee Mechanics: The armor and thrusters behind the knees move in sync with the leg's bending motion for a seamless appearance in action poses.
  • Blowback Handgun Gimmick: The two handguns feature an MG-original gimmick that replicates blowback movement, and they can be stored on the front skirt armor.
  • Detachable Rifle Magazine: The 110mm rifle includes a removable magazine for added detail and playability.
  • Burst Saber with Purge Effect: The Burst Saber includes blade parts replicating the purged end shape, with six blades that attach from the side skirt armor.
  • Selectable Alaya-Vijnana Type E Cockpit: Interchangeable parts allow builders to display the cockpit in either activated or deactivated states of the Alaya-Vijnana Type E system.
