The Bandai MG 1/100 RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (AEUG) (Ver. 2.0) is a Master Grade model kit depicting the iconic mobile suit from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam in its Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG) color scheme. As the first Master Grade to receive the Ver. 2.0 treatment, this kit introduced a new standard of articulation and inner-frame engineering that influenced all subsequent MG releases. Recommended for intermediate to advanced builders, the MG line features detailed inner frame construction and multi-part armor assembly. In the series, the Gundam Mk-II was originally developed by the Titans before being captured by the AEUG and piloted by Kamille Bidan throughout the Gryps Conflict.
Key Features
Ver. 2.0 Articulation System: Armor-linked movable joints in the ankles, knees, and skirt armor enable a wide range of dynamic action poses with realistic armor separation.
Adjustable Hip Joint Axis: A sliding hip joint mechanism allows expanded forward leg articulation for crouching and action stances.
Double-Jointed Limbs: Both elbows and knees feature double-jointed construction for deep bends and natural posing.
Chrome Piston Details: Plated piston parts in the ankles and legs add mechanical realism to the inner frame.
Vinyl Tubing: Included mesh and vinyl tubing replicates the flexible cable details on the legs and weapons.
MS Catapult Display Stand: An included display stand recreates the Argama launch catapult scene, compatible with the MG Zeta Gundam Ver. 2.0 stand.
1/100 Scale Figurines: Three scale figures are included - one seated Kamille Bidan pilot figure and two maintenance crew figures with wire supports for floating poses.
