The Bandai SD Gundam Cross Silhouette #18 Tornado Gundam is a non-scale snap-fit model kit from the SD Gundam G Generation video game series. This kit marks the first-ever Gunpla release of the Tornado Gundam, a mysterious prototype mobile suit originally featured in the SNES game SD Gundam GX. Suitable for beginners, the SDCS line features simplified SD proportions with snap-fit assembly and pre-colored plastic, requiring no glue or paint. The Tornado Gundam was first revealed at the HOBBY NEXT PHASE 2022 AUTUMN event and represents a revival of the SDCS line after a multi-year hiatus.

• Dual Frame System: Includes both CS (Cross Silhouette) and SD frames, allowing builders to choose between taller CS proportions or classic compact SD proportions.
• Deployable Gatling Guns: The gatling guns mounted on the arms can be swapped between normal and deployed states using interchangeable parts.
• Connectable Beam Sabers: The two included beam sabers can be connected together to recreate the double-bladed beam saber attack from the G Generation games.
