Description
Official SNAA Retailer LA Scale Model is an authorized retailer of SNAA. All SNAA model kits are 100% genuine and sourced directly from the manufacturer.
Overview
The SNAA SC-007 Iron Sickle Kai is a 1/144 scale model kit from the Beyond Exquisite (BE) Round Table Knights series. Iron Sickle Kai carries the epithet "White Death Reaper" and is designed as a close-combat knight-class mecha built around a scythe-based weapon system - an uncommon armament choice that gives it a distinctly aggressive silhouette compared to the sword-and-lance loadouts used by other units in the series. SNAA is a Chinese original-IP manufacturer known for Western fantasy-themed mecha designs, and the Round Table Knights line is their most popular series among North American builders.
Key Features
Scythe Weapon System: Includes one oversized primary scythe (Steel Spike Sickle) that stands taller than the kit itself, plus two smaller secondary sickles (Strong Reaper Scythes) that mount on the backpack when not in use. The primary scythe can also be stored on the rear skirt armor.
Full Inner Frame: Complete internal skeleton shared across the Round Table Knights line, with newly tooled leg frame parts specific to Iron Sickle Kai that provide a sturdier lower body compared to earlier entries in the series.
High Articulation: Head pull-up with 360-degree rotation, extending shoulder joints, arms that bend to the shoulder, hip drop-down structure, front kick exceeding 90 degrees, leg bend approaching 120 degrees, and a knee linkage mechanism that moves the calf armor during bending.
RG-Style Color Separation: Outer armor uses layered part separation to achieve color accuracy without painting. Primary color scheme is white and gray with yellow accents.
Knight Shield: Forearm-mounted shield with adjustable angle and detailed surface sculpting.
Six Pairs of Replacement Hands: Rock/roll gesture hands, pointing hands, open hands, two pairs of weapon grip hands, and fist hands.
Cross-Compatibility: Weapons from previous Round Table Knights releases (including the Achilles sword) are compatible with Iron Sickle Kai's hand joints.
Builder Context
Iron Sickle Kai is a snap-fit kit that requires no glue or painting to complete, though the tight frame joints benefit from careful part insertion during assembly. The build is suited for intermediate builders - the frame assembly runs tight (which is good for long-term posing stability), and some gate placement on the armor parts is awkward enough to require attention during cleanup. Builders familiar with Bandai RG-grade kits will find a comparable level of detail density and part count at a lower price point.
Why Build This Kit
The SNAA SC-007 Iron Sickle Kai is the kit that put the Round Table Knights series on the community radar, largely because the oversized scythe weapon set is unlike anything else in the 1/144 scale third-party market - sickle and scythe loadouts are typically seen on demon or mecha-musume designs, not knight-class frames. At approximately 15 cm to the head and 17 cm to the horn tips, Iron Sickle Kai has more shelf presence than a standard Bandai HG and stands slightly taller than earlier Round Table Knights entries. The kit includes significant new tooling in the legs compared to previous releases in the series, making the lower body feel noticeably sturdier and more mechanically detailed. Builders should know that the hand joints on SNAA kits can be loose under weapon weight - the primary scythe is heavy enough that posing it one-handed is difficult without the display stand, and some builders recommend gluing the hand pegs. At its typical NA retail price of $27-$30, Iron Sickle Kai delivers a full inner frame, water-slide decals, a display stand, six pairs of hands, and three scythe weapons - a parts count that exceeds most Bandai RG kits at a comparable or lower price.

Previously built Gawain of this series, was not impressed with that build. Was hesitant to try another in this series. Glad I did, overall felt like major improvement every possible way compared to Gawain.

Great kit, but Packaged poorly or damaged on route
First time buying from here, kit came fast but could’ve been packaged better… the kit barely fit in the shipping box it came with and only filled with newspaper. everything is complete but the product box and manual is bent. Came in poor condition which I’m very sad
