Splash Paints 1K Acrylic Lacquer Primer

The Splash Paints 1K Primer is a single-component acrylic lacquer primer designed for airbrush application on plastic model kits, resin parts, and 3D prints. Available in four colors — White, Light Grey, Dark Grey, and Black — the 1K Primer is a ready-to-use surfacer that fills scratches as fine as #800 grit and provides a smooth foundation for basecoat application. Each bottle contains 60 ml (2 oz) of pre-thinned primer with no catalyst or mixing required.

Application Notes

• Apply at least 2–3 coats for optimal film thickness prior to basecoat application.
• Flash off until matte between coats.
• Wet-sand with #1500–2000 grit before applying basecoat for a smooth finish.
• The White primer has an off-white finish; bright colors may require a pure white base coat after priming.
• A respirator must be worn during use. Product is flammable and must be kept away from all heat sources.
