Splash Paints 2K Ultra Clear Coat

The Splash Paints 2K Ultra Clear is a two-component urethane clear coat designed for airbrush application as a final protective top coat on scale models, Gunpla, and 3D prints. Available in Gloss and Matte finishes, this high-solid clear coat provides enhanced self-leveling, increased UV stabilization, and zero clear coat shrinkage during curing. Each set includes a 30 ml (1 oz) clear coat bottle and a 10 ml (0.3 oz) catalyst bottle, mixed at a 3:1 ratio before application.

Application Notes (Gloss)

  • 1st coat: Light coat. Flash off 5–10 minutes.
  • 2nd coat: Medium to wet coat. Flash off 5–10 minutes.
  • 3rd coat: Wet coat. Flash off 5–10 minutes.

Application Notes (Matte)

  • 1st coat: Tack coat. Flash off 5 minutes.
  • 2nd coat: Wet coat. Flash off 5 minutes.
  • Do not exceed 2 coats. Additional layers will make the surface glossy.
