XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 is a testbed mobile suit developed by the Earth Federation's Strategic Naval Research Institute (SNRI). It was featured in the Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam manga series. The F97 is specifically designed by the SNRI to be used near Jupiter, where the strong gravitational field creates serious propulsion problems. Units operating on Earth and near Earth's orbit usually achieve high mobility using thrusters distributed across the mobile suit's body. However, under Jupiter's gravitational influence, this would require enlargement of the thrusters, leading to an increase in the mobile suit's size and mass. Larger thrusters would require more powerful reactors, which in turn adds more mass.To resolve this, the F97 is equipped with a set of four movable thrusters in an X-shaped array. Used in tandem with the unit's AMBAC system, these thrusters allow high mobility around Jupiter's orbit without increasing the size and mass of the mobile suit – and when combined into one huge thruster column, they are capable of dramatically increasing the unit's top speed. Of course, there are tradeoffs; a unit designed for these unique conditions like the F97 is difficult to control on or near Earth.Though technically the F97 are general purpose mobile suits, they were designed with extra emphasis on their close range combat abilities. With their high mobility, they easily outmaneuver most enemy mobile suits, allowing them to slip into close range and past the beam shield. Additionally, the Crossbone Vanguard leader, Berah Ronah, sought to fight the war against the Jupiter Empire with as little loss of life as possible. With blades it is easier to take out a mobile suit without destroying the cockpit than it is with a beam rifle.Another notable equipment is the Anti-Beam Coating cloak, which can be stored on the F97's back and unfolded when needed. When unfolded, it covers the mobile suit's entire body, and disperses beam energy over the cloak. It can usually withstand five standard beam shots without spending any energy, with the additional advantage of stealth. Like its predecessor F91 Gundam F91, its "mouth" can be opened as a vent. The F97 is also equipped with a plug-in type core fighter, which mounts the movable thrusters and two standard beam sabers.Four units were made in total and given by SNRI to the Crossbone Vanguard. In order to cover this secret dealing, they were assigned the codes X-0, XM-X1, XM-X2, and XM-X3 and given the name Crossbone Gundam.

$72.00

The ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam is the titular mobile suit of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny and was piloted by Shinn Asuka. A straight-built Gunpla version is piloted by Shimon Izuna in Gundam Build Fighters Try. The ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam is a high performance general-purpose MS commissioned by ZAFT Chairman Gilbert Durandal, who ordered it to be incorporated with the most advanced technology of the time, including technologies banned by the Junius Treaty. Based on the ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam and Shinn Asuka's combat data, it is designed to handle any combat situations with a single set of varied armament, a concept first tested on the ZGMF-X56S/θ Destiny Impulse. For close combat, it has two beam boomerangs that double as beam sabers, a pair of palm beam cannons, and a large beam sword. For ranged battle, it is equipped with a long-range beam cannon and a beam rifle. For defense, it mounts a small physical shield as well as two beam shield generators. Lastly, the suit has a standard set of CIWS.For the Destiny Gundam to use its variety of weapons effectively and quickly, it needs to have a wider range of body movements as well as be more flexible. To achieve a wider range of body movements, the suit's basic structural components are split into smaller, movable pieces, while its armor is divided into smaller pieces in a manner similar to that of the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam's. The exposed gaps in the armor due to smaller armor pieces are remedied by mapping out the ranges of motion of the frame using Shinn's combat performance to determine the most efficient way to separate the armor parts. This ensures the wider range of body movements do not compromise defensive power. To be more flexible, the Destiny's joints are constructed of the same materials found in Phase Shift armor. This allows the joints to possess near-human flexibility when phase-shifted and a faint metallic glow is produced when discharging excess residual energy within the body through the joints. Through these measures, the suit met its requirements, however, various problems remain to be solved, including maintenance problems and production issues.Other special aspects are the Destiny's use of the new Voiture Lumiere propulsion system and the use of Mirage Colloid to create illusionary copies of itself. Destiny's Voiture Lumiere propulsion system is installed in the wings, which are improved version of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam's wings, and will produce a special light effect known as Wings of Light during high speed movements. The Voiture Lumiere propulsion system is frequently used alongside the Mirage Colloid to confuse the enemy as the real Destiny sets up for a high-speed attack. Like the ZGMF-X666S Legend Gundam, the Destiny Gundam is powered by the Hyper-Deuterion Engine and armored with Variable Phase Shift armor. Although classified as a "Second Stage Series" mobile suit, as indicated by the "S" in its model code, the Destiny should be a "Third Stage Series" instead based on its performance. This is done to hide the fact that it is a nuclear-powered suit and should have an "A" instead.

The XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero (ウイングガンダムゼロ EW Uingu Gandamu Zero?) (aka Wing Zero) is a mobile suit that appears in the OVA/movie Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz and the manga Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz: Glory of the Losers. Wing Zero was based on the Zero Frame technology developed by the five Gundam Scientists, which was an inner frame with all the necessary components for the mobile suit to operate, completely separate from the armor platings and energy conduits for weapons. The performance of the frame itself surpasses that of the OZ-00MS Tallgeese, and the complete separation of armor and internal structure allows Wing Zero to continue fighting after losing up to 90% of its armor. In the Glory of the Losers manga, Wing Zero is developed from the wreckage of the destroyed Wing Gundam Proto Zero, and upgraded with wing binders from the OZ-00MS Tallgeese Flugel. It combines the armament and equipment of the TV version and the EW version, such as having a shield and being able to transform into Neo-Bird Mode.

GN-0000+GNR-010/XN 00 XN Raiser (aka 00 XN Raiser, pronounced Double-Oh Sun Raiser), is the combination of the GN-0000 00 Gundam and the GNR-010/XN XN Raiser. It appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam 00V side story. 00 XN Raiser carries a pair of GN Buster Sword IIIs that can combine into one large sword. The additional pair of manipulator arms on the XN Raiser allows the 00 XN Raiser to carry more weapons, as well as grant it another pair of arms for combat use. XN Raiser's binders do not dock into the 00 Gundam's twin GN Drives; instead, they fold up when the XN Raiser is docked onto the 00 Gundam. The entire system docks onto the 00 Gundam's back as a weapons backpack.

Full Mechanics 1/100 GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam

Full Mechanics 1/100 GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam

Bandai

$61.00

The GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. It is piloted by "Biological CPU" Orga Sabnak. One of three second-generation GAT-X machines, Calamity is built on the X100-series frame and inherits GAT-X103 Buster Gundam's artillery attack concept. It can also be used to provide support from the rear and is armed with several powerful range weapons, but it completely lacks any close combat weaponry. Its armament consisted of two back-mounted high-energy long-range beam cannons, a chest-mounted multi-phase energy cannon, 2-barrel ram cannon equipped shield attached to the left arm and a hand-carried plasma-sabot bazooka. Due to its Trans-Phase armor, a more energy-efficient form of the Phase Shift armor, Calamity has a longer operational time than the first generation GAT-X machines and also has more energy for its power-hungry beam weapons. With the powerful thrusters installed around the body, it can hover over deserts or bodies of water easily. However, as it lacks true flight capability within the atmosphere, it often has to ride on top of GAT-X370 Raider Gundam when the latter is in MA mode to keep up with its flight-capable sister units when moving to the combat zone. In this configuration, Calamity uses Raider much like ZAFT suits use the Guul subflight lifter. The control system of the Calamity is very complex and its customized OS can only be used by the "Biological CPU".

The STTS-909 Rising Freedom Gundam is a mobile suit introduced in the animated film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. Using all previous operational data from the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam, the unit was designed incorporating transformation technology acquired by Orb through the MVF-M11C Murasame. Also, its weapons are developed and manufactured from PLANT, and latest technologies from various countries and organizations are used to develop this unit. It shares a frame with the STTS-808 Immortal Justice Gundam, as well as containing the same panoramic monitor cockpit and OS. This state-of-the-art mobile suit is also remarkable in that it is even more compact in size than previous Freedom units. Its equipment mainly consists of long-distance combat armament, with Variable Phase Shift Armor (VPS Armor) that can neutralize physical ammunition. With its common frame as a base, equipment may be changed depending on usage needs, making this a multi-role unit capable of utilizing numerous variations.Unlike its predecessors, the Rising Freedom Gundam is battery-powered, necessitating the use of various measures to conserve power for its energy-intensive loadout.

Bandai

$15.00

The GN-001REII Gundam Exia Repair II (aka Gundam Exia Repair II, Exia Repair II, Exia R2) is the repaired and upgraded version of the GN-001RE Gundam Exia Repair. Appearing in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 season 2, it is piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei. For the final battle against the Innovators, the reborn Celestial Being deployed all usable mobile suits they have, including the Exia Repair II (aka Exia R2) that served as a spare machine for Setsuna F. Seiei. Built from the wreckage of the Exia Repair by a team of mechanics led by Ian Vashti, the Exia R2 incorporated the latest technology and is more powerful than its predecessors. The light purple-colored GN Cables on the exterior of the original Exia and Exia Repair are now mostly stowed in the Exia R2's armor. These cables facilitate the supply of GN Particles, and thus energy, to each part of the Gundam instantaneously, and are also used for attitude control due to the particles' mass reduction effect. The internalization of these cables resolves the defensive concerns regarding their previously exposed placements, improving the Exia R2's defensive capability. The Exia R2 also has enhanced mobility as additional thrusters are installed on various parts of its body.Due to the proliferation of GN Drive Taus, it is now much more difficult to overwhelm enemy machines compared to before. To counter this, the Exia R2 has been reworked into a "one-hit-kill" machine. It is armed with a GN Sword Kai, two GN Beam Sabers a pair of GN Vulcans, and a GN Shield. Overall attack power is enhanced thanks to the GN Sword Kai, a powered up version of the original Exia's GN Sword. However, this focus on singular attack power resulted in decreased comprehensive battle strength as the total number of swords is reduced from the original Exia's seven to the current three.Like the original Exia, the Exia R2 has an "Over Boost Mode" that temporarily boosts its capabilities. The Exia R2's primary tactic is to combine a single GN Sword Kai attack with the "Over Boost Mode" to defeat the enemy quickly, and this was successfully employed against the GN-000 0 Gundam. A damaged Exia R2 was recovered after the battle, but its GN Drive was damaged beyond repair by 0 Gundam's attack. It was then repaired into the GN-001REIII Gundam Exia Repair III, powered by a particle storage tank.

MG 1/100 RMS-099 Rick Dias Quattro

MG 1/100 RMS-099 Rick Dias Quattro

Bandai

$44.00

The RMS-099 Rick Dias (RMS-099 リック・ディアス Rikku Diasu?) is a second-generation mass-production attack-use mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Developed by Anaheim Electronics, the RMS-099 (MSA-099, MSA-009) Rick Dias became one of the first mass-produced mobile suits of the AEUG's Zeta Project for their fight against the corrupt Titans. Because many engineers who worked on the Rick Dias were former Principality of Zeon members, the Rick Dias featured many similarities to Zeon mobile suits such as a mono-eye sensor. Originally, the Rick Dias ("Dias" is derived from Bartolomeu Dias, the Portuguese explorer who first rounded the Cape of Good Hope) was supposed to be called γ Gundam (Gamma Gundam) as it is built out of the new Gundarium γ. This material was developed by Axis and has strength similar to standard Gundarium yet weighs less, making the suit lighter and thus allowing it to accommodate a greater fuel capacity. The Rick Dias is one of the earlier mobile suits to use the 360-degree panoramic cockpit, and the first original design to be constructed by the AEUG. One notable feature is that unlike other mobile suits at the time, the cockpit of the Rick Dias is built into its head and not the chest. Built into its hands are specialized launchers that can be used to launch fire-suppressing gas or a binding adhesive. For combat, the Rick Dias can be equipped with a variety of weapons, making it a versatile mobile suit.

MS-06S Char's Zaku II is a mobile suit featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga and its OVA adaptation. It was piloted by Char Aznable during the One Year War. Char's MS-06S Zaku II is a customized version of the standard MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type (an overall improved MS-06F Zaku II) painted in his personal red colors. Being a commander's unit, a horn-like decoration was also attached to its head. Despite the high risks, Char personally ordered the removal of its limiters, allowing it to use its thrusters to the maximum limit. The hit-and-run tactics enabled by the resulting high thrust, and the impression its distinctive colors made on the battlefield, led to Char's nick name, "Red Comet". After the Clash of Loum, Vice Admiral Dozle secretly ordered Char to command the Falmer, a custom Musai-class battleship, and unit emblems and victory markings were applied to his MS-06S. These included bright white lines indicating it as the commander's unit, the unit number "A12" and emblems of the Falmer.
