The Bandai HGUC #38 1/144 RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type is a High Grade Universal Century model kit based on the Earth Federation Forces mobile suit from the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. The GM Cold Districts Type is a cold-weather variant of the standard RGM-79 GM, designed for operations in subarctic environments with anti-icing treatments, improved communications equipment, and ballistic-focused armament. This snap-fit kit is suitable for beginner to intermediate builders and requires no glue or paint to complete. Originally released in July 2003, this classic HGUC kit captures the military realism and distinctive angular styling of the Cold Districts Type.
