Description

The Bandai HGCE #253 1/144 ZGMF-103HD Lightning Buster Gundam is a High Grade Cosmic Era model kit based on the mobile suit from the animated film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. Piloted by Dearka Elsman, the Lightning Buster Gundam is an upgraded version of the original GAT-X103 Buster Gundam, now powered by a nuclear reactor and equipped with an arsenal of long-range weapons. This snap-fit kit is suitable for beginner to intermediate builders and requires no glue or paint to complete. It was released in September 2024 as part of Bandai's HGCE lineup supporting the SEED Freedom film.

  • SEED Action System: Internal structure specialized for reproducing dynamic action poses from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series, with independently sliding hip joint axes for bold leg positioning.
  • Deployable Beam Cannons: Large back-mounted beam cannons can unfold from their stowed position and be repositioned to shoulder or waist firing positions via articulated arm parts.
  • Waist Beam Guns: Beam cannon on the waist can be displayed in deployed state using interchangeable barrel parts.
  • Missile Launcher Hatches: Rear fuselage hatches open to reveal stored missile warheads from the Type 77 Multi-Purpose Guided Missile Launchers.
  • Color-Accurate Molding: Precise color separation across the body achieved through multi-colored runners, minimizing the need for painting.
  • Double-Jointed Limbs: Elbows and knees feature double-jointed construction for enhanced posing range.
