Description

The Bandai HGUC #45 MS-14JG Gelgoog Jager is a 1/144 scale High Grade Universal Century model kit based on the high-performance Zeon mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. Also known as the Gelgoog Sniper Type, the MS-14JG is an upgraded variant of the MS-14 Gelgoog developed under the United Maintenance Plan, featuring enhanced mobility from its 24 posture control sub-thrusters and external propellant tanks. This snap-fit kit is suitable for beginner to intermediate builders, requiring no glue or paint for a color-accurate finished model. Originally released in April 2004, the kit remains a fan-favorite representation of this iconic Zeon sniper unit.

Key Features

  • Dedicated Sniper Pose: Includes a special trigger-finger right hand that allows the model to hold its Large Beam Machine Gun in the signature sniping pose from the anime.
  • Faithful Body Sculpt: The bulging, wave-like shapes throughout the body and the unique elbow joint structure are reproduced with a dedicated mechanism.
  • Detailed Thruster Units: Thrusters are molded separately from the armor panels in gray plastic for improved color separation, and propellant tanks on the backpack are removable.
  • Double-Jointed Neck: The head unit uses a ball joint at the top and a hinge at the bottom, allowing rotation and tilt for expressive posing.
  • Forearm Beam Spot Guns: Wrist-mounted beam spot guns are molded in high detail as part of the forearm assembly.
  • Snap-Fit Assembly: Color-molded PS and PE parts snap together without glue. Polycaps are included for joint movement.
