The Bandai HG 1/144 RX-77-02 Guncannon (Cucuruz Doan's Island Ver.) is a High Grade model kit based on the Guncannon as it appears in the 2022 theatrical film Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island. This kit stands out as the only Cucuruz Doan's Island movie kit released as a regular retail product, featuring two interchangeable backpack units that allow builders to recreate either Kai Shiden's low-recoil cannon configuration or Hayato Kobayashi's missile launcher variant. Recommended for beginner to intermediate builders, this snap-fit kit requires no glue or painting and features excellent articulation for dynamic posing. The film reimagines the classic 15th episode of the original 1979 Mobile Suit Gundam series, directed by the legendary Yoshikazu Yasuhiko.
