Description

The Bandai HGUC #66 1/144 RX-78GP02A Gundam GP02A Physalis is a High Grade Universal Century model kit based on the nuclear-armed mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Piloted by Delaz Fleet ace Anavel Gato after being stolen from the Earth Federation, the GP02A is infamous for its Atomic Bazooka and heavily armored design. This snap-fit kit is suitable for beginner to intermediate builders and requires no glue or painting to complete. It was one of the largest HGUC kits at the time of its original 2006 release.

  • Expandable Shoulder Binders: Both shoulder binders can be deployed to recreate the GP02A's flying mode silhouette.
  • Atomic Bazooka Gimmick: The bazooka features a linking mechanism between the rear half (shoulder-mounted) and the front half (stored in the shield), allowing it to be wielded even in flying mode.
  • Included Display Stand: A dedicated display stand is included for aerial posing, with an adapter to also mount the HGUC GP01Fb (sold separately) for a duel display.
  • Radiator Shield: The large shield stores the bazooka barrel and replicates the in-universe cooling system design.
  • Beam Saber Effect Parts: Two beam sabers with effect parts are included for melee combat poses.
  • Detailed Articulation: Ball-and-socket joints at the neck, wrists, and thighs, with 90-degree bend at elbows and knees, plus poseable skirt armor for leg clearance.
