The RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type is a limited production mobile suit introduced in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team OVA. The Gundam Ground Type was one of the early prototypes for the Earth Federation's mobile suit mass production plan, produced in limited numbers before the recovery of the RX-78-2 Gundam's combat data. As its name suggests, it was designed solely for ground combat, and all space-use equipment, as well as the Core Block System, were omitted. This caused the Gundam Ground Type to be lighter, allowing it to rival the performance of the RX-78 while under gravity.In order to save time and cost, the RX-79[G] was constructed using surplus parts for the RX-78. Since the quality of these parts varied greatly, differences in performance became a problem, so a limiter was added in order to ensure stable performance. This limiter can be disengaged, activating a state known as "MAX mode", greatly increasing performance. However, due to the heavy burden placed on the unit, this mode can only be activated for a limited time.Compared to the RX-78, the RX-79[G] featured many design changes. The head-mounted Vulcan guns were omitted in favor of the ability to mount various optional equipment to adapt to different situations, such as extra antennae for long-range communication or a Vulcan pod for enhanced close combat ability. An extendable snorkel camera for enemy searching was mounted on the left side of the head. The beam saber racks were moved from the backpack to the legs, and were changed to an enclosed type to prevent dust from entering. A Vulcan gun and a multi-launcher were mounted on the left side of the chest. Its backpack was designed to mount various equipment, such as a weapon container for carrying various handheld weapons or a parachute pack.The Gundam Ground Type was capable of using beam rifle. However, only a small number of beam rifles were manufactured for it, and few units were equipped with it. As such, its primary ranged weapons were physical projectile weapons, such as the 100mm machine gun and the 180mm cannon. Two spare magazines for the machine gun can be mounted on the side armor on the waist.As the RX-79[G] was built out of surplus parts for the RX-78, replacements parts were very limited, and many bases were forced to perform field repairs on their units using parts from other mobile suits, creating many custom type units. One such example was the unit piloted by Karen Joshua, which had its head replaced with the head of an RGM-79[G] GM Ground Type.

The 侍ノ弐 Sengoku Astray Gundam (戦国アストレイ頑駄無 Sengoku Asutorei Gandamu) is a Gunpla that appears in the anime Gundam Build Fighters. Based on the MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame it is built and controlled by Nils Nielsen. Based on the MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame that appeared in the Gundam SEED Astray series, this Gunpla is built by Nils Nielsen and embodies his love of his Japanese heritage. Aesthetically, it greatly resembles a samurai, with an enlarged V-fin that is modeled after the Crest-horn and additional facial scrupling that is modeled after a men. The Red Frame's original faceplate is hidden underneath this extra plating and can be revealed if the extra plate is destroyed. Armed with two swords and a shield, the Sengoku Astray is also uparmored, with the new shoulder armor containing a pair of hidden arms and thrusters at the back. With its swords, the Sengoku Astray can not only launch shock waves, but also cut through beam attacks and particle barrier. The Gunpla has a special melee attack, the ‘Particle Fa Jin', that allows it to destroy an opponent from within.

The GAT-X105B/FP Build Strike Gundam Full Package is a Gunpla from the anime series Gundam Build Fighters. It's built by Sei Iori and primary controlled by Reiji. The GAT-X105B/FP Build Strike Gundam Full Package is a Gunpla built by Sei Iori, and is a combination of the basic GAT-X105B Build Strike Gundam with the Build Booster and new weapons. As indicated by the name, it can be considered as the Build Strike with its complete weapons and equipment. The Build Booster is a support craft that when attached to the Build Strike adds a pair of Large Beam Cannons to the unit's standard armaments of four head-mounted Vulcan Guns and two Beam Sabers, and also improves its output.[1] The Full Package also gives the Build Strike a Chobham Shield and a Beam Gun that can transform into a Beam Rifle, and later into the Enhanced Beam Rifle.

The XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita is a custom Gunpla and the successor of the XXXG-01Wf Wing Gundam Fenice from the anime series, Gundam Build Fighters. The Gunpla is modeled and primary controlled by Ricardo Fellini. The XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita is the upgraded form of Ricardo Fellini's XXXG-01Wf Wing Gundam Fenice after it was severely damaged during his loss to the Qubeley Papillon at the semi-finals. The Gundam Fenice Rinascita is greatly modified compared to its predecessor, the trademark asymmetrical design has been forgone entirely and it sports new custom parts all over its body. The suit also gained several new weaponry, and its transformation capability has been restored as well. The latter allows Gundam Fenice Rinascita to carry out high speed travel after changing into Flight Mode.

The PF-78-3A Gundam Amazing Red Warrior is a Gunpla from the anime series Gundam Build Fighters Try. It is a variant of the PF-78-3 Perfect Gundam III. Built by Meijin Kawaguchi for his own use, the Gundam Amazing Red Warrior is a customized version of the PF-78-3 Perfect Gundam III "Red Warrior" that appears in the manga Plamo-Kyoshiro. This Gunpla is also the Meijin's way of honoring Takeshi Iori, who had used the Perfect Gundam. The Gundam Amazing Red Warrior can exhibit overwhelming speed during battle due to its greatly improved thrust, and has high maneuverability thanks to the flexibly mounted vernier units above the shoulder armors. The weapon mounted on the left side of the backpack can be changed to meet the needs of different battle, and this allows the suit to be highly adaptable. The combination of the Gunpla's high degree of completion and the Meijin's excellent piloting skills caused the Gundam Amazing Red Warrior to be a formidable foe for any opponent.

The ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos is the main mobile suit in the first season of the Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS anime and is piloted by Mikazuki Augus. The Gundam Barbatos is one of 72 "Gundam" frames that was produced and used in the Calamity War, roughly 300 years ago. After it was recovered, Chryse Guard Security used it as a power reactor. Aside from the fact that its Ahab Reactors were still functional, this was done mainly because Barbatos' cockpit was missing when it was found. A new cockpit similar to the one used by the CGS mobile workers was installed prior to its redeployment by the 3rd Group. Poor maintenance over the centuries since the Calamity War has degraded the Barbatos' armor and full combat potential. This is later rectified by Teiwaz technicians, who not only restored the Barbatos to its original look but also returned it back to a performance close to its original.Gundam units like the Barbatos are able to achieve a high energy output because they possess two Ahab Reactors. However because it is difficult to run them in parallel operation, only a total of 72 Gundam frames were ever produced. The burden experienced by the pilot is high as a result of the high output and maneuverability; however it's mitigated by the implementation of Inertial Control due to the use of Ahab Particles generated from the reactor when a phase transition occurs inside its vacuum device. The cockpit structure is positioned in front of the reactor to take advantage of this. Among the same frame machines, Barbatos has been adjusted for an emphasis on versatility, it has the potential to adapt to every circumstances by exchanging its equipment. The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (ユニコーン ガンダム Yunikōn Gandamu?, or Unicorn, Unicorn Gundam 01, Singularity One) is the titular prototype mobile suit of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn novel, its OVA adaptation and the television re-cut. Developed by Anaheim Electronics for the Earth Federation, it concealed a secret that could shake the future of all humanity, for it was the key to opening Laplace's Box. It is piloted by Banagher Links after the head of the Vist Foundation and his father, Cardeas Vist, entrusted it to him at the dawn of the Third Neo Zeon War in U.C. 0096.Produced as the final part of the E.F.S.F's reorganization plan, the "UC Project", the Unicorn Gundam is a revolutionary design meant to be the main symbol of the project's main goal: to destroy any traces of Zeonism in the Earth Sphere. Thus, not only does it feature a Gundam design, but it also incorporates an anti-Newtype system. Two prototype machines were completed at Anaheim Electronics' factory in Granada. However, when the Vist Foundation took control of the project, they installed a special "La+ Program" OS into the Gundam, turning it into a symbol of possibility by making it the key to finding Laplace's Box: the embodied hope of the Universal Century. Featuring the most advanced mobile suit technology of the time, its performance is unmatched.Incorporating test data from the experimental MSN-06S Sinanju Stein, the Unicorn Gundam's entire frame is built with Psycho-Frame material, drastically increasing the unit's responsiveness and allowing it to be piloted like an extension of the pilot's body. While mobile suits used during the Second Neo Zeon War implemented psycho-frame technology on a limited basis, the Unicorn is the first "full psycho-frame" mobile suit. In some cases, this responsiveness is so high that the machine appears to act on its own without any actions from the pilot. In addition, the Unicorn utilizes a special system known as the "NT-D" (or Newtype Destroyer) which activates the suit's psycho-frame and dramatically increases the suit's performance.In its normal form, the "Unicorn Mode", the Unicorn Gundam's head is similar in appearance to those of Londo Bell's mass-produced mobile suits, with the addition of a single, horn-like antenna on its forehead (which gives it the name "Unicorn"). Destroy Mode is the form when Unicorn Gundam's NT-D System is activated. The transformation is marked by an expansion of the suit's frame. The armor seams separate and lock down into various hard-points, while the newly exposed psycho-frame emits a pinkish-red or greenish (Awakened) glow (attributed to the Psycho-Field phenomenon). In this mode, the Unicorn becomes taller, reveal six more thrusters, and its head transforms to one with standard Gundam features, the visor and face guard retracts into the head to reveal the twin eyes and mouth plate, and the antenna splitting into a V-fin. To prevent its transformation being interrupted, the strength of its I-Field will be increased temporarily. Additionally, a pair of sub-sensors are revealed on the shoulders, and two concealed beam sabers extend out of the backpack.In Destroy Mode, the suit's psycho-frame scans the pilot's thoughts and directly transmits them to the suit's drive system; in other words, the Unicorn can be controlled by the pilot's thoughts alone. Additionally, the mode also causes the machine's performance - in thrust, generator output, and sensory radius - to be increased to unmeasurable levels. The NT-D also allows the Unicorn to take control of an enemy's psycommu weapons (also known as "Psycommu Jack") by emitting a Psycho-Field. However, the stress placed on the mind by manipulating an object more than tenfold the size of an average human is extraordinary. Even with the aid of the psycho-frame, the pilot's mind can only endure roughly five minutes of operation before a limiter is activated, deactivating the psycho-frame and returning the mobile suit to its Unicorn Mode.With the performance limiters disengaged, the Unicorn can accelerate up to 20 G's in Destroy Mode; to alleviate such high levels of G forces placed on the pilot, a drug administration system called the "DDS" is fitted on the pilot suit. It suppresses stagnated blood circulation due to high acceleration by administering the drug to the pilot. Furthermore, the DDS activates automatically upon the detection of another Newtype via the "Intention Automatic System".

The ZGMF-X56S/α Force Impulse Gundam is a Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is piloted by Shinn Asuka and later by Lunamaria Hawke. The ZGMF-X56S/α Force Impulse Gundam is the ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam equipped with the α Force Silhouette pack. The Force Impulse is a general purpose MS like the original Impulse, but has extremely high mobility under gravity and in zero gravity due to the Force Silhouette's high output thrusters and large wings. This pack also enables atmospheric flight, and adds a pair of beam sabers to the Impulse's standard armaments, granting the Force Impulse high melee and ranged combat capabilities. The Force Impulse is the most commonly used form of the Impulse due to its high versatility, and it is said that its aerial combat capabilities are equivalent to the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam's. The Force Impulse retains the same VPS colors as the original Impulse.

The GF13-001NHII Master Gundam is a mobile fighter introduced in the anime Mobile Fighter G Gundam. A state-of-the-art mobile fighter made by Neo Hong Kong, and a developmental improvement of the Kowloon Gundam. Its body is made up of DG cells, allowing it to disguise itself as the Kowloon Gundam. Although its body is made up of DG cells, it is completely controlled by Master Asia's strong mental power, so it does not self-propagate or self-evolve, and uses its abilities only for self-regeneration. This machine has strong characteristics as a dedicated fighting machine developed from the Kowloon Gundam, and its flexible joint structure and thrusters allow it to move in a variety of ways, reproducing many of the techniques of Master Asia. It is a member of the Devil Gundam Legion, and is treated as the leader of the Four Heavenly Kings subgroup that consisted of four Gundams.

The GAT-X105E+AQM/E-M1 Strike E + I.W.S.P. is a variant of the GAT-X105E Strike E introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 Δ Astray. It is piloted by Sven Cal Bayang and Lukas O'Donnell. The Integrated Weapon Striker Pack (I.W.S.P.) combines the primary characteristics of the Aile, Sword and Launcher Striker Packs, allowing the equipped mobile suit to handle various situations with only one set of equipment. As such it is very heavy, very powerful, very energy intensive and difficult to use. The I.W.S.P. also grants mobile suit the ability to fly within the atmosphere and was originally completed by Orb Union's Morgenroete Inc. during the last days of the first war with the model number, P202QX. AQM/E-M1 is a new model of I.W.S.P. developed by Actaeon Industries after the war, it is functionally identical to the P202QX. When using the I.W.S.P., the Strike E can also be equipped with either Strike or Duel Gundam's beam rifle as its optional handheld weapon.

The GX-9901-DX Gundam Double X (aka Gundam DX, Double X, DX) is a mobile suit produced by the New United Nations Earth in After War Gundam X and piloted by Garrod Ran. The GX-9901-DX Gundam DX was created by mobile suit engineers of the newly formed New United Nations Earth (NUNE). NUNE recovered the wreckage of GX-9900 Gundam X used by Jamil Neate during the 7th Space War and transplanted some of its system to the new mobile suit dubbed Double X. Furthermore, as creating a completely brand new design was extremely difficult, the mechanics used the Gundam X as the base unit when developing the Double X.The Gundam Double X has an improved Satellite System, the "Satellite System Mk-II". It consisted of a larger reflector unit on its back with six panels, and several energy radiator plates on the limbs as part of the new improved cooling system to increase the microwave energy absorption. Accompanying this increase in energy storage capacity, the single-barreled Satellite Cannon was upgraded into the two-barreled Twin Satellite Cannon, allowing Double X to unleash destructive force several times that of the Gundam X. The power of the Twin Satellite Cannon was demonstrated when Garrod Ran used it to destroy the island of Zonder Epta in one shot, and shown again when used to destroy the Space Revolutionary Army's Colony Laser. As the old system transplanted from Jamil's Gundam X still contains his brain wave patterns, Double X can use the Twin Satellite Cannon without a Newtype as its pilot.The Gundam Double X is also equipped with two Hyper Beam Swords stored on its side skirt armor, two Head Vulcans, four Breast Launchers and can use custom-made weapons including the Buster Rifle and Defense Plate. Because of its similarities to the Gundam X, the Gundam Double X can dock with a support craft developed for the Gundam X called the GS-9900 G-Falcon. While docked with the G-Falcon, the Double X is unable to use some of its weapons, but has the ability to use the weapons equipped on the aft section of the G-Falcon. Also, while joined with the G-Falcon, the Gundam Double X is able to safely re-enter Earth's atmosphere.Like the Gundam X, the Double X had a security key in the form of a G-Controller that is needed to activate and control it. However, while the Double X has its own G-Controller, its base system is still the same as the Gundam X. This means that even without the Double X's G-Controller, it can still be operated by anyone who has an older-model G-Controller used with the Gundam X - as demonstrated by Garrod, who stole the Double X in this manner.

The ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam (aka Freedom, X10A) is a mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and piloted by Kira Yamato.One of ZAFT's ZGMF-X series of Gundam units build in C.E. 71 using technology derived from the four captured Alliance's Gundam, the Freedom Gundam has Phase Shift Armor and its armaments include CIWS guns, beam sabers, shield, plasma beam cannons, railguns, and a beam rifle. When the latter three weapons are used simultaneously, the Freedom is said to be in 'Full Burst Mode'. The suit has full flight capabilities in the atmosphere and the back-mounted wings can be deployed in "High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT) Mode" to enhance its mobility in the atmosphere or in space. It also has an advanced targeting system, the Multi Lock-On System, that allows it to target and fire at multiple enemy units simultaneously. Due to its capabilities and loadout, the suit has a reputation as a specialized 'Mobile Suit Killer', but its high performance resulted in a complicated control system that demands extremely fast reaction speed and spatial awareness from its pilot.When required, the Freedom Gundam can dock with a support unit, the METEOR unit, for heavier firepower and greater speed. The Freedom Gundam has virtually unlimited combat endurance as it is equipped with a Neutron Jammer Canceller and powered by a nuclear reactor. Kira describes the suit as having over four times the power of the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. However, what this exactly means is unclear. The Freedom Gundam is meant to operate alongside the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, and they are often based on the warship, the FFMH-Y101 Eternal, which is designed specifically to maintain them. Even in CE 73, the suit is still considered by some people, such as Shinn Asuka, as the most powerful mobile suit out there. Overall, it is one of Clyne Faction's symbols of power, along with the Eternal, the Archangel, and the Justice.

The MSN-04 II Nightingale (MSN-04II ナイチンゲール?) is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children. It was piloted by Char Aznable during Char's Rebellion .The MSN-04 II Nightingale was developed exclusively for Char Aznable, the leader of Neo Zeon. its most prominent feature was the incorporation of a Psycho-Frame. As a result, the Nightingale was completed as a Mobile Sit (MS) with capabilities akin to a Mobile Armor (MA). The Nightingale was an MS with exceptional abilities and its silhouette greatly deviated from a human design, with overhanging binders on both shoulders, a large rear armor piece that extended backwards, and front armor as large as the legs. Despite its unconventional design., mobility devices placed on the shoulders and rear armor enabled the MS to gain high mobility and operability, and the five propellant tanks allowed for long combat operations. It was armed with a long-range, high-0power Large Mega Beam File, a Beam Tomahawk equipped with three devices, and 10 funnels. This armament configuration enabled the MS to gain combat abilities that could flexibly adapt to firefights, melee combat, and perform all-range attacks. The Nightingale was deployed during Char's Rebellion and overwhelmed Amuro Ray's RGZ-91 Re-GZ. It was as powerful as the RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam during the battle over Axis .

The MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam (aka ΖΖ Gundam, ZZ; pronounced "Double Zeta") is the titular mobile suit of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and is piloted by Judau Ashta. A direct development of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, the ΖΖ Gundam, which had been completed through a prototype, was given the development code "θ" (thus also known as the "θ Gundam") as it was the sixth "Anaheim Gundam" after the RMS-099 Rick Dias (also known as “γ Gundam”). The development plan of the ΖΖ Gundam existed two years before the completion of the Zeta Gundam but was shelved due to internal competition and production delays. However, the performance advantage of the Zeta Gundam against new Titans mobile suits did not last long, and so development of the ΖΖ Gundam was resumed.The ΖΖ Gundam sought to reproduce the operating functions of the RX-78-2 Gundam and the G-Armor in a single machine. An advanced form of the RX-78-2 Gundam's Core Block System was also introduced. As a result, the ΖΖ Gundam can transform into a mobile armor form called the G-Fortress, which acts as a heavy combat bomber and for cruising in space and on earth. The ΖΖ Gundam can also separate into two independent fighter units, called the Core Top and Core Base. The Core Base, consisting of the ΖΖ's lower body and backpack, is operated through the FXA-07GB Neo Core Fighter attached to its front. The Core Top, consisting of the ΖΖ's upper body and double beam rifle, is operated through the cockpit in its nose unit or more frequently through the Neo Core Fighter, which is in its Core Block form, attached to the lower rear.The team on board the "Argama" typically operates the ΖΖ Gundam with a third Neo Core Fighter piloted by the Gundam's main pilot, Judau Ashta. When combining into the ΖΖ Gundam, forming the G-Fortress mode is the first step and consists of the Core Top and Core Base ejecting their Neo Core Fighters to dock with Judau's Neo Core Fighter in Core Block form. When transforming from the G-Fortress mode to MS mode, the large verniers in the arms and legs are retracted. However, this does not reduce total thrust as the surplus output is supplied to the attitude control thrusters distributed throughout the body and the number of operable thrusters are actually increased. Other parts that move during transformation include the flexible wing binders that also serve as arm-mounted wings shields, the shoulder thruster binders, the large backpack, etc.The engine installed in the backpack is originally meant for ships and could supply power for an entire ship. It also functions as the main thruster unit of the ΖΖ Gundam when in MS form, generating thrust equivalent to that of a large ship. The ΖΖ Gundam's armor is a multi-spaced structure composed of Gundarium γ alloy, capable of withstanding a mobile suit explosion at close range and resisting high water pressure. While it is impossible to completely defend against a direct hit of a mega particle beam, the wings shields are strong enough to prevent a direct hit on the cockpit.With its overall height limited to around 20 meters as requested by AEUG to maintain mobility, the ΖΖ Gundam's design also incorporated the movable frame and magnet coating technology. The generator output which had caused problems during early stages of ΖΖ's development was resolved by incorporating three compact, high-output generators. The movable modules and armor parts, which have a multi-layered structure, are connected by hinges and slide rails which have magnet coating, making them flexible and robust while allowing instantaneous transformation of the ΖΖ Gundam. However, the complexity of the system resulted in poor maintainability and productivity also deteriorated.The control system of the ΖΖ Gundam is equipped with a Bio-Sensor, which is a simplified Psycommu system, as an interface for Newtype pilots. An improved version of the Biosensor installed in the Zeta Gundam, it improves the responsiveness of the mobile suit by supporting the control system with the pilot's brainwaves. However, as a protective measure, the Biosensor is inactive when a pilot with low Newtype abilities boards the ΖΖ Gundam. The unit is mounted in the ΖΖ Gundam's Core Block and the synchronization of the device is improved by inputting the brainwave patterns of the Neo Core Fighter's pilot.The ΖΖ Gundam has a number of powerful weaponry, including two hyper beam sabers which are also usable as beam cannons, a double beam rifle, a 21-tube missile launcher installed on the backpack, and a high mega cannon on the forehead. While the ΖΖ has a very destructive arsenal, its weapons systems require a high level of energy. As a result, the ΖΖ often found itself almost completely drained of power after using its high mega cannon. The ΖΖ Gundam's structural issues due to its complicated construction and transformation systems were eventually corrected with the MSZ-010S Enhanced ZZ Gundam and its massive final upgrade FA-010S Full Armor ZZ Gundam.

The MBF-02+EW454F Strike Rouge Ootori is a variant of MBF-02 Strike Rouge introduced in the HD Remaster of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It is primary piloted by Cagalli Yula Athha, and later by Kira Yamato. The Strike Rouge Ootori is the Strike Rouge equipped with the multi-purpose EW454F Ootori Striker, which Morgenroete Inc. has been developing since the first war. The Ootori Striker is a striker pack based on the P202QX IWSP (Integrated Weapons Striker Pack) and is also meant to allow a MS to handle various situations without changing equipment. However, it has a simpler structure leading to better reliability and ease of maintenance.Compared to the Aile Striker, Ootori Striker's flight system is a vast improvement as it is capable of powered flight in the atmosphere. The pack is equipped with a beam launcher, railgun, large anti-ship sword, missile launcher and several wing-mounted missiles. The droptanks on the bottom wings contain a stealth support system that utilizes mirage colloid but not much detail is known. In addition, the Ootori Striker can function as an independent unit when it is separated from the Strike Rouge.

The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (aka Banshee) is a mobile suit that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. It is built alongside its brother unit, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, under the Earth Federation's UC Project. Originally piloted by Marida Cruz, it was later assigned to Riddhe Marcenas. After its completion alongside the Unicorn Gundam, the Banshee was eventually stationed on Earth with the Augusta Research Lab and tested for atmospheric combat. Rather than that of a Unicorn, the Banshee's motif is that of a lion, illustrated with gold accents on the forehead, a golden collar to signify a lion's mane (the Banshee originally had the same collar as the Unicorn but this was changed after it suffered damages while battling in space), and a much more elaborate horn/V-fin.The Banshee's armor is almost entirely black, and its psycho-frame emits a golden-orange glow when the NT-D is activated. Although the Banshee lacks the Unicorn's distinctive La+ System, its performance in atmospheric combat is vastly superior, presumably because of a significant reconfiguring of the suit's operating system to account for Earth's gravity and the atmosphere's frictional resistance.Combat improvements were made according to Unicorn Gundam's battle data, which had been relayed to the Augusta Research Lab. However, the two Gundams have no major operating differences. Aside from lacking the Unicorn's La+ operating system, the Banshee's raw performance is equal to that of the Unicorn. In other words, any modification to the Banshee (i.e. atmospheric combat performance) could also be applied to the Unicorn, making both suits equal in ability.In the anime version, it weighs more than Unit 1 and has a larger effective sensor radius. Its armament also differs from that of Unit 1, as it is equipped with the added psycho-frame armaments "Armed Armor BS" and "Armed Armor VN", granting it better continuous battle capability than Unit 1, and it is said to have a higher degree of completion.
