HG 1/144 HGUC RGM-79G GM Ground Type

Bandai

$20.00

The RGM-79[G] GM Ground Type is a ground based predecessor to the RGM-79 GM. It first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. An early prototype of the Earth Federation Forces' mobile suit mass production project, the GM Ground Type was developed before the RX-78-2 Gundam's operational data was recovered. Even though it was only able to operate on Earth, its internal parts were all tuned for ground combat, and it was equipped with Luna Titanium armor, causing its mobility, maneuverability, and general performance to surpass the later RGM-79 GM.It is said that its performance under gravity even rivals that of the RX-78.The GM Ground Type was a simplified version of the RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type, and produced using the same production line.Compared to the Gundam Ground Type, the GM Ground Type omitted the chest-mounted Vulcan gun and multi-launcher, the weapon container mount on the backpack, and was equipped with a less powerful generator. It also did not incorporate parts from the RX-78 series, though its head unit was similar in specs to that of the RX-78's.Since it was produced after the production format was established, its ease of production, ease of maintenance and availability of parts were all greater than its predecessor.Due to its use of Luna Titanium alloy, it was unsuited for mass production and produced in limited numbers. However, the GM Ground Type was important in establishing the EFF's mobile suit production framework. The operational data it collected contributed to the development of later mobile suits. Finally, the basic structure of its head was later inherited by the RGM-79 GM, becoming the iconic face of Federation mass production mobile suits.

PG 1/60 Perfect Grade UNLEASHED RX-78-2 Gundam

Bandai

$296.00

The RX-78-2 Gundam is the titular mobile suit of Mobile Suit Gundam television series. Part of the RX-78 Gundam series, it was built in secret on Side 7. The Gundam would turn the tide of war in favor of the Earth Federation during the One Year War against the Principality of Zeon. It was primarily piloted by Amuro Ray. The Gundam was incredibly advanced for its time. Built from lightweight Luna Titanium Alloy, its frame was both lighter than that of Zeon's mass-produced mobile suits and much sturdier, able to shrug off a MS-06 Zaku II's machine gun fire with little to no damage. Its offensive power was above and beyond that of the Zakus. The Gundam would engage in most battles with its beam rifle, making it the first mobile suit to have firepower equivalent to a battleship's beam cannons. In addition, it made use of two beam sabers, blades of extremely hot plasma which could cut through any metal with ease. Those beam sabers could be extended into a spear-like beam javelin, which could be used to stab into an enemy from a longer distance. The Gundam also used more conventional weaponry; it could launch rockets with a "Hyper Bazooka", the Federation's answer to the bazookas used by Zeon's Zakus; in addition, its head was outfitted with a pair of small vulcan guns, as a way of attacking light-armored aircraft and vehicles without wasting ammo or energy from its more powerful armaments. It also made use of a very unconventional close-range weapon known as the "Gundam Hammer" - a large weapon similar to a flail which could be swung at enemies to deal crushing damage. The Gundam Hammer was eventually upgraded for use in space and outfitted with a number of verniers on the ball, and renamed to be the "Hyper Hammer". Lastly, it wielded a shield which would offer it a defense against enemy attacks that not even its Luna Titanium body could withstand without damage. Gundam pilot, Amuro Ray, would make use of the shield as a decoy in many battles, taking advantage of its size to fool the enemy into thinking he was charging at them, then attacking the enemy through the shield. In terms of technology, the Gundam was equipped with a sophisticated Learning Computer which would collect pilot and enemy data during skirmishes and allow the Gundam to operate more effectively. The data from the computer was used by the Federation to improve the controls of the Gundam's mass-produced form, the RGM-79 GM. In addition, it was upgraded by Federation technician Mosque Han shortly before the Battle of A Baoa Qu to improve its reaction times, the joints of the Gundam were given a Magnet Coating, based on the experimental procedure performed on the RX-78-3 "G-3" Gundam and later used on Amuro's intended successor unit, the RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex".The Gundam makes use of the Core Block System implemented in the other V Project units. The torso of the Gundam is mostly hollow so that a FF-X7 Core Fighter can dock with it. This allows the pilot to jettison the legs and torso of the Gundam should the machine be too heavily damaged and gives the pilot a chance to escape from battle. Later, during Operation Odessa, the Gundam is given a support unit known as the G-Fighter. The two G-Fighters were designed to take advantage of the Gundam's modular system and diversify the Gundam's role in active combat. These modes ranged from the assault bomber G-Armor to the close combat support tank G-Bull. Officially, it is called a prototype, but it is also said to be more of a custom-made machine that is finished with high quality materials and the best technology.

RG 1/144 MSN-02 Zeong

Bandai

$66.00

The MSN-02 Zeong (ジオング Jiongu) is a prototype mobile suit appearing in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. It was first piloted by the "Red Comet" Char Aznable. Developed by the Principality of Zeon at the A Baoa Qu space fortress during the One Year War, the Zeong was built exclusively for Newtype pilots. It initially had the model number "MS-16X" and was developed based on the data of multiple experimental units. The Zeong was also the first mobile suit to use the Psycommu system, which allowed a Newtype pilot to utilize its wire-guided remote-controlled forearms for all-range attack effectively. Each forearm was built with five mega particle cannons in its fingers. The Zeong also has three more mega particle cannons on its body, two in the waist and one in the head. The Zeong was expected to be around 35m tall when fully completed, making it much larger than most mobile suits of the time. Its large size was attributed to the difficulties in miniaturizing the Psycommu system. Though another account suggested that it was due to the need for larger generators to power its thirteen mega particle cannons. In the end, this mobile suit was only 80% complete when it was deployed, thus its lack of legs and exposed upper arms. Although the legs would aid in the AMBAC System, their omission did not hinder the Zeong from performing at 100% combat capacity, since two rocket thrusters were installed at where the legs were supposed to be.Although the Zeong was developed for Newtypes, it could also be operated by normal pilots. In this situation, the mobile suit would be controlled by a pilot in the torso cockpit and a gunner in the head cockpit. The two cockpits were connected by a traversal tube. In contrast, a single Newtype pilot could fully operate the Zeong from either one of the cockpits, though due to the mobile suit's prototype nature, its activation and initialization could only be done in the torso cockpit. In order to ensure the recovery of its data and pilot, especially if the pilot was a Newtype, the head also doubled as an escape pod and could detach from the main body when necessary.

HG 1/144 HGGTO MS-05S Zaku I

Bandai

$22.00

MS-05S Char's Zaku I (MS-05S ザクⅠ(シャア専用機)?) is a mobile suit featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga, its OVA adaptation and Mobile Suit Discovery . It was Char Aznable's own customized MS-05 Zaku I Anticipating a war of independence, the Principality of Zeon forces made their preparations for the outbreak of war by mass-producing the MS-05 Zaku I. The MS-05 Zaku I was armed with ranged weapons and a shield affixed to its forearm, and in close combat, it was designed to carry out ramming attacks using the armor attached to its left shoulder. However, a few ideas for revisions were suggested based on mobility test data. A new type of shield mounted on the right shoulder was developed, which could protect the machine over a wider area. And for offense, a new type of left shoulder armor was introduced, with spikes installed for increased damage during ramming attacks. In addition to the standard MS machine gun (drum magazine type) and Type A1 MS bazooka, the MS machine gun (belt-fed type) was developed, which had increased ammunition thanks to a feed mechanism mounted on the mobile suit's back. This new equipment, which eliminated the problems of the MS-05 Zaku I, was intended for use by the improved MS-06 Zaku II that was being developed at a rapid pitch. However, since the war of Zeon independence broke out just before the MS-06 Zaku II entered full-scale mass production, some units of the MS-05 Zaku I were fitted with this MS-06 Zaku II eq

HG 1/144 HGGTO MS-04 Bugu (Ramba Ral Custom)

Bandai

$22.00

The MS-04 Bugu (MS-04 ブグ?) is a mobile suit featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin MSD Cucuruz Doan's Island manga, the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin OVA, its television recut, and the Mobile Suit Discovery design series. Developed by Zeonic from the YMS-03 Waff , tests were conducted at the Dark Colony in U.C. 0077 . In U.C. 0078, Ramba Ral's Bugu fought in the Battle of Mare Smythii . The development of the mobile suit took a huge step forward thanks to the compact fusion reactor and fluid pulse system designed by Dr. Torenov Y. Minovsky, resulting in the birth of the prototype YMS-03 Waff. The MS-04 Bugu was completed using data gathered with the Waff, and it was designed with a focus on its mobility, maneuverability, and ease of production as a weapon, making this the first machine capable of handling genuine combat. To improve its mobility, the power pipes that transmitted energy as part of the fluid pulse system were attached to the outside of its armor, and the increased supply of the energy used to drive its limb joints gave it very high maneuverability. However, as is often the case in the development of high-performance prototypes, it was designed with no regard for ease of production. With its high production cost, it was unsuited for mass production, and the role of official mass-produced machine was given to the redesigned MS-05 Zaku I. Though the Bugu never entered mass production, several units were built .

HG 1/144 HGUC FA-78-3 Full Armor 7th Gundam

Bandai

$20.00

The FA-78-3 Full Armor 7th Gundam is a mobile suit introduced in M-MSV. It was later redesigned and appears in the video game Mobile Suit Gundam: Battlefield Record U.C. 0081. The FA-78-3 Full Armor 7th Gundam is the additional armor-equipped version of the RX-78-7 7th Gundam. Unlike the previous FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam, the Full Armor 7th Gundam is able to fight without any drop in performance. This is accomplished with the addition of built-in sub-generators and propellant tanks in the Full Armor components. The emphasis of the Full Armor components is offensive power rather than defensive power. In addition, the tail stabilizer on the rear waist, which is the mass center of the MS, act as an AMBAC device and dramatically improved the unit's acceleration capability.

HG 1/144 HGUC MSM-07E Z'Gok Experiment

Bandai

$15.00

The MSM-07E Z'Gok-E (aka MSM-07E Z'Gok Experiment) is an experimental amphibious mobile suit introduced in the Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket OVA . The Z'Gok E was an experimental improved version of the MSM-07 Z'Gok. Besides improved beam cannons in its arm, allowing for rapid-fire, the original Z'Gok's head-mounted missile launchers were also replaced with torpedo launchers for additional firepower when operating underwater. To allow for better cruising range underwater, the suit's main propulsion systems were relocated from the back to the legs to create a more streamlined body shape. Its limbs were also designed to be retractable for the same reason. The thrusters built into its back were meant for jumping and various ground based movements, and greatly boost the suit's mobility on land. The Z'Gok E used a standardized cockpit with the introduction of the United Maintenance Plan, and was powered by an improved generator which gave the suit ample performance.

HG 1/144 HGUC RGM-79GS GM Command Space Type

Bandai

$10.00

The RGM-79GS GM Command Space Type is a mobile suit introduced in the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. Following the success of the RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type, a late production type GM deployed in the One Year War, development of new localized warfare machines using the suit as a basis started. The basic concept is to maintain the fundamental design of the GM Cold Districts Type while improving on its output and mobility. Demands of MS pilots who were unsatisfied with the original RGM-79 GM's performance were also taken into account, and with the upcoming counter offensive in space against the Principality of Zeon in mind, a decision was made to simultaneously developed a ground use unit and a space use unit. The end results were the space use GM Command Space Type, and the ground use RGM-79G GM Command. Both suits were also used to collect data for the development of next-generation mass production models.Specifications wise, the GM Command series is said to be a match for the Zeon's MS-14A Gelgoog, but as many of the machines were deployed to areas outside of the main battlefield that had low urgency, its functions were often suppressed and it could not display its full potential. To improve on the GM Cold Districts Type’s mobility, the GM Command series’ thrusters are distributed all over its body. Furthermore, the backpack, which contains the main propulsion system, was also boldly redesigned and optimized separately for the GM Command Space Type and GM Command. This difference in the backpack is the biggest characteristic that differentiates the two machines, and is related to the different gravitational environment that they operate in, 0G and 1G respectively. While the GM Command had downward-pointing thrusters concentrated on the bottom of the backpack, the GM Command Space Type's thrusters are spread around the backpack and faces various directions. The GM Command Space Type's thruster output is also boosted by 10%, has more apogee motors, as well as a greater propellant capacity for higher operating time. With the GM Command series use of a generator with higher output, intakes and ducts are also added to enhance cooling functions. This higher output generator is however a double-edged sword. Although it allows for full-scale operation of equipment like beam gun and beam rifle, such generators at that time could only be manufactured in zero gravity facilities, so mass production of the suit then at the Earth Federation Forces’ largest production facility at Jaburo was not possible. This had a negative impact on the suit's production number during the war.Due to the accumulation of manufacturing and designing knowledge, the GM Command series' maintainability and operability was greatly improved compared to the very first mass production models that had inconsistent standards. Unlike the normal GM, the GM Command series has additional sensors in the head such as environment monitoring sensors to thoroughly detect human presence/survivability, and this boosts the suit's anti-personnel and anti-material evasive capabilities. The GM Command series is also the first in the GM series to utilize the mono-eye camera in the head to improve producibility. Communication capabilities are enhanced via the shoulder antenna, which also helps to prevent interferences or jamming caused by frequency bands used by civilians inside and outside of colonies. It was relatively easy to change the GM Command series' armor, backpack, and other parts; furthermore, its specifications can also be changed with little modification to the base structures. As the GM Command series was deployed as replenishment units during the war, only a small number were produced. Assignment of the machine to experienced MS pilots was prioritized, and as these pilots were often appointed as commanders of newly formed MS platoon, the GM Command series also gained a reputation as a 'Commander Use Unit' even though it was not specifically built for commanders. There were also cases where the suit was supplied on a platoon scale, leading to a considerable number of operational units in total.

HG 1/144 HGUC MS-09 Dom / MS-09R Rick Dom

Bandai

$22.00

The MS-09 Dom (aka MS-09B Dom) is a mass-production ground combat mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam. Its most well known pilots are the Black Tri-Stars. A heavy mobile suit developed by Zimmad, the MS-09 Dom was a ground combat machine equipped with hovercraft technology. It was fitted with thermonuclear jets and rockets under its feet, allowing it to quickly move across the ground, greatly improving its mobility compared to previous ground-use mobile suits. Thanks to sensors located in front of its feet, it was able to traverse uneven terrain. While in cruising mode, it could hover across the ground using only its thermonuclear jets. The Dom can hover at a maximum speed of 381 km/hr for up to 5 hours. Its primary thrusters adopted the Saturn Engine, a type of thermonuclear engine that used heavy elements such as zinc and lead as propellant, granting it higher thrust than thermonuclear engines that used lighter elements as propellant. The mobile suit's design was largely unchanged from the YMS-09 Prototype Dom aside from its appearance. It inherited the same cross-shaped monoeye rail from the MS-07C-5 Gouf Test Prototype, granting it an improved view of aerial targets. Lateral field of view was obtained by auxiliary sensors. For defense, the Dom was heavily protected, adopting a unique "skirt armor" design to protect weak points in the back, such as thrusters. Its cockpit hatch armor, which was its greatest weakness in the front, was also greatly enhanced. However, since the cockpit was entered directly from the front of the Dom, pilots in desert and wetland areas complained that the console panel would become dirty from entering and exiting. Meanwhile, the Dom's head was merged into its chest, a design intended to deflect and ricochet enemy projectiles, as well as lowering the possibility of being hit.The Dom's primary weapon, the 360mm Giant Bazooka, was developed in parallel with the mobile suit. It was capable of sinking a space cruiser with a single shot. It was also armed with a heat saber for close combat, as well as a scattering beam cannon in its chest, which was capable of blinding the enemy. It was said that the beam cannon was originally intended to be an energy port for beam weapons, but was repurposed after the development of beam weapons was delayed.

The MS-06CK Zaku Half Cannon is based on the MS-06 Zaku II and was designed to provide mid-range artillery support . The MS-06CK Zaku Half Cannon is the same MS as the MS-06C Zaku II with the addition of the MS-06K's backpack. The backpack can be equipped with a 180mm cannon or a large gatling gun.

HG 1/144 HGUC MS-06s Zaku II Char's Custom

Bandai

$13.00

The MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam. After repeated engagements since the start of the One Year War, the regular Zaku II had already become insufficient for ace pilots. In order to make effective use of the mobile suit's reserves of power, this mobility-enhanced Zaku II for commanders was hastily developed. The Zaku II Commander Type has an antenna on the head for enhanced communication capabilities and to visually distinguish squad-leaders or higher ranking pilots from other squad-members or lower ranking pilots. Commanders are also allowed to paint their machine in personal colors. It also features a powerplant with higher output that gave the Zaku II Commander Type greater thrust and acceleration. This allows it to move at speeds 30% higher than that of the standard Zaku II. However, since the amount of propellant has not been changed from the standard type, it would naturally run out of propellant quickly when maneuvering at full speed.[1] Despite this limitation, the Zaku II Commander Type proved to be incredibly dangerous in the hands of the ace pilots it was assigned to, such as the "Red Comet" Char Aznable, who sank five Magellan-class battleships in the Battle of Loum.

MG 1/100 RX-77-2 Guncannon

$32.00

The RX-77-2 Guncannon was a mobile suit used by the Earth Federation Forces introduced in the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam. A middle-range support mobile suit developed simultaneously with the RX-78 Gundam and the RX-75 Guntank as part of Operation V, the Guncannon adopted the same Core Block System as the other two units. Due to its role as an artillery support unit, the Guncannon's design prioritized durability over mobility, and it was not equipped with any melee weapons. However, its armor was particularly heavy, capable of surviving a direct hit from a MS-09R Rick Dom's giant bazooka.Similar to the Guntank, the Guncannon's main weapons were a pair of shell-firing cannons, chosen for their reliability over beam weapons. These cannons could be optionally swapped out for a pair of spray missile launchers. Unlike the Guntank, however, the Guncannon's generator output allowed it to equip a beam rifle. It was also equipped with a pair of head-mounted vulcan guns and hand grenades for attacking enemy strongholds.Though its head design appeared to be simpler than the Gundam's head, the Guncannon's sensor system was in fact more complicated than the Gundam's due to its need to engage in artillery warfare. This "twin eyes with goggles" sensor design was later inherited by the RGM-79 GM. While the Guncannon's mobility was adversely affected by its weight, it was still comparable to that of the Zeon's MS-06 Zaku II. Furthermore, the backpack thrusters have sufficient thrust to enable jumping maneuvers under gravity for a short period of time.

HG 1/144 HGUC RGM-79FP GM Striker

$15.00

The RGM-79FP GM Striker is a ground close combat mobile suit and variation of the RGM-79C GM Type C. It was featured in the original design series Harmony of Gundam, the manga series Mobile Suit Gundam - Acguy: 2250 Miles Across North America, as well as the manga series Mobile Suit Gundam: We're Federation Hooligans!! and its sequel manga series Mobile Suit Gundam Katana. From the data collected by the RX-78-2 Gundam and the RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type, the Earth Federation Forces recognized the frequent occurrence of close combat during mobile suit battles, as well as the effectiveness of the Principality of Zeon's close combat-specialized mobile suit, the MS-07B Gouf. It was decided that the RGM-79C GM Type C, one of the general performance improvement variants of the RGM-79 GM still in development, would serve as the basis of a specialized close combat GM variant. The GM Striker was equipped with a set of full body additional armor known as Wearable Armor, based on the reactive armor used by the RGM-79F Desert GM as well as existing research on Chobam Armor, designed to protect the mobile suit from the ballistic weapons used by Zeon mobile suits. It was also fitted with a high-thrust backpack and improved leg thrusters. Weapons wise, it is equipped with one to two Beam Sabers, two Vulcan Guns, a 100mm Machine Gun, as well as an experimental Twin Beam Spear, a weapons with twice the firepower and reach of the beam saber. Finally, it has a Spike Shield, which can serve as a striking weapon in addition to defense.

HG 1/144 HGUC RGM-79 GM

Bandai

$10.00

The RGM-79 GM (aka GM, pronounced Jim) was the first mass-produced mobile suit of the Earth Federation. It first appears in Mobile Suit Gundam. The RGM-79 GM is a mass-produced mobile suit based on the RX-78-2 Gundam. Its basic frame is easily adaptable to modifications into mission specific GM models, and has a fairly high level of mobility, for the time, both on Earth and in space. It has a maximum acceleration of 0.94 Gs in space, which is better than the Gundam's and roughly twice of the Zaku's. On Earth's surface, the GM is also faster than the Zaku II. The armor of the GM uses Titanium Alloy, a sturdy metal that could be refined more quickly and easily than the Gundam's Luna Titanium Alloy. Although titanium alloy is less durable than luna titanium, it is also slightly lighter which reduces the GM's overall mass compared to the Gundam's and is still superior to the Zaku II's super-high tensile steel armor. The GM was primarily armed with a beam spray gun, a less powerful version of the Gundam's beam rifle but could still destroy MS in one shot. Early in production, the beam spray gun had yet to be mass-produced so most GMs were equipped with various machine guns. These machine guns continued to be used by the GMs later, and the machine could also use the Gundam's beam rifle when required. It could also use a mass production version of the Gundam's Hyper Bazooka for heavier firepower. For close combat, the GM has a beam saber, and a shield similar to the one used by the Gundam. Commander units sometimes featured a second beam saber. Lastly, the GM has a pair of head-mounted 60mm vulcan guns for intercepting missiles, small vehicles or to stop enemy MS from closing in. From the GM started the RGM series that remained the mainstay of the Federation's mass production mobile suits until the end of the Federation itself.
