HG 1/144 HGUC RGM-79G GM Ground Type

HG 1/144 HGUC RGM-79G GM Ground Type

Bandai

$20.00

The RGM-79[G] GM Ground Type is a ground based predecessor to the RGM-79 GM. It first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. An early prototype of the Earth Federation Forces' mobile suit mass production project, the GM Ground Type was developed before the RX-78-2 Gundam's operational data was recovered. Even though it was only able to operate on Earth, its internal parts were all tuned for ground combat, and it was equipped with Luna Titanium armor, causing its mobility, maneuverability, and general performance to surpass the later RGM-79 GM.It is said that its performance under gravity even rivals that of the RX-78.The GM Ground Type was a simplified version of the RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type, and produced using the same production line.Compared to the Gundam Ground Type, the GM Ground Type omitted the chest-mounted Vulcan gun and multi-launcher, the weapon container mount on the backpack, and was equipped with a less powerful generator. It also did not incorporate parts from the RX-78 series, though its head unit was similar in specs to that of the RX-78's.Since it was produced after the production format was established, its ease of production, ease of maintenance and availability of parts were all greater than its predecessor.Due to its use of Luna Titanium alloy, it was unsuited for mass production and produced in limited numbers. However, the GM Ground Type was important in establishing the EFF's mobile suit production framework. The operational data it collected contributed to the development of later mobile suits. Finally, the basic structure of its head was later inherited by the RGM-79 GM, becoming the iconic face of Federation mass production mobile suits.

HG 1/144 HGUC MRX-009 Psyco Gundam

Bandai

$61.00

The MRX-009 Psycho Gundam (aka Psyco Gundam) is a transformable mobile armor introduced in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Developed by the Earth Federation Forces' Murasame Newtype Lab as a Cyber Newtype-use machine, the Psycho Gundam incorporates several concepts from the MSN-02 Zeong. At 40 meters tall, it is more than twice the size of a regular mobile suit. This is due to the sheer bulk of the Psycommu System, and the addition of features like a Minovsky Craft System, an anti-beam barrier as well as complex transformation mechanisms. Classified as a large Mobile Armor (MA), it can transform into a Mobile Armor mode known as "Mobile Fortress Mode" that is capable of atmospheric flight thanks to the Minovsky Craft System. Plans for a "Mobile Fortress" in the base defense role were drafted after the One Year War.The Psycho Gundam is entirely controlled by the Psycommu System, and as it was designed to be used by Cyber Newtypes, it cannot be handled by normal humans as the psychological burden is tremendous and potentially fatal. The Psycho-Control System allows the pilot to control Psycho Gundam via remote operation when apart. Besides the superb defensive capabilities offered by the anti-beam barrier, the Psycho Gundam also has overwhelming offensive capabilities, and is armed with 3 diffuse beam cannons in its body, 10 beam cannons in its fingers, and 2 small mega beam cannon in the head. Two units were produced in total.

HG 1/144 HGUC ORX-005 Gaplant TR-5 (Hrairoo)

HG 1/144 HGUC ORX-005 Gaplant TR-5 (Hrairoo)

Bandai

$30.00

The ORX-005 Gaplant TR-5 [Hrairoo] is a prototype transformable mobile armor, it is a variant of the ORX-005 Gaplant TR-5. The unit is featured in the photo-novel Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans. One problem with the standard ORX-005 Gaplant is the intense G-force produced by the movable shield binders, making it best used with a Newtype pilot. Due to this, when it was first produced, the ORX-005 Gaplant TR-5, it was instead mounted with booster shields used by TR-1 Hazel. Aside from this, a few changes were applied during the TR-5's initial service, such as applying an enhanced sensor unit and V-fin onto the head sensor, and replacing the main engines in the backpack with a thermonuclear hybrid jet-rocket engine, as with other machines of the TR series. For its main armament, the TR-5 carries a long blade rifle, which is mounted on the underside of the machine in mobile armor form.Later on, near the end of Gryps conflict, the TR-5 Hrairoo is further refined as an Area Dominance Mobile Armor, similar in purpose to RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium", but for all three major environment (atmosphere, ground, space). The booster shields were changed back to the moveable shield binders. The side armor and back armor have additional thrusters and armor mounted onto it, greatly increasing its maneuverability and defense; the back waist armor also comes with a moveable hardpoint, allowing it to mount an additional manipulator arm. The front waist armor is also enhanced, and thus now has spray beam emitters for defense, as well as two hidden arms underneath. The long blade rifle is upgraded to be able to equip 2 booster-type shields, which further increase its mobility (standard booster shields), attack power (micro missiles shields), or defense (spray beam shield).Furthermore, it can be equipped with the Hrududu II support unit. The shoulders mount booster-equipped claw units with beam emitters that can connect to the long blade rifle to form a very powerful beam cannon. With the Hrududu II, Gaplant gains four more hard points, allowing it to mount additional manipulator arms, shield units, and eventhe arms of the Psyco Gundam.

HG 1/144 HGUC LM314V21 Victory 2 Gundam

Bandai

$16.00

The LM314V21 Victory 2 Gundam (aka Victory 2, V2) is the successor of the LM312V04 Victory Gundam featured in Mobile Suit Victory Gundam. Its development involves Myra Miggelle, wife of Hangerg Ewin, one of the founding members of League Militaire. It is piloted by Üso Ewin. Developed from the LM312V04 Victory Gundam, the Victory 2 (V2) Gundam was the newest Gundam produced by the League Militaire as their new symbol, replacing the older Victory Gundam. Nevertheless it shared many similarities with its predecessor, most notably the Core Block System, in which the V2's body is consisted of a Core Fighter (also known as V2 Core Fighter) attached to the suit's upper and lower body. This allowed damaged parts to be quickly and easily swapped out in the middle of battle. The V2 Core Fighter can also combined only with the upper body (also known as V2 Top Limb, or "Hanger" as it was informally known) or the lower body (also known as V2 Bottom Limb or "Boots") to form the V2 Top Fighter and the V2 Bottom Fighter respectively. Its armaments were mostly identical to the original Victory as well, although most of its systems were upgraded to better combat the newer mobile weapons being produced by the Zanscare Empire. Like its two predecessors, the V2 could also be outfitted with a variety of equipment to adapt to different mission roles. These upgrades typically saw the V2 outfitted with additional armor or extra weapons (or both). The most important upgrade, however, was the Minovsky Drive System, which was derived from the Victory Gundam's Minovsky Flight System and provided the unit with unparalleled power and maneuverability. This system allowed the V2 to fly in space without the use of conventional rocket thrusters (though some were still incorporated for maneuvering) and achieve incredible speeds. If used on Earth, the Minovsky Drive allowed the V2 to hover in mid-air without additional support, a significant advantage over the beam rotor technology used by Zanscare's mobile suits. The Minovsky Drive can also be used for both offensive and defensive purposes, sometimes simultaneously. The system's high-energy exhaust plumes manifested as a giant pair of wings ("Wings of Light"), which could be used as either gigantic beam sabers or as massive beam shields to shield both the Gundam itself and other targets. The defensive ability of the Wings of Light is nigh-unbreakable, if not absolute: not even the ZMT-S29S Zanneck's beam cannon, which could hit targets on Earth from high in the atmosphere, could penetrate them.

HG 1/144 HGUC MSM-08 Zogok (Unicorn Ver.)

HG 1/144 HGUC MSM-08 Zogok (Unicorn Ver.)

Bandai

$22.00

The MSM-08 Zogok is a prototype amphibious mobile suit introduced in the original design series MSV and made its animated debut in Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. It later appeared in the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. The MSM-08 Zogok is a prototype amphibious mobile suit with improved melee capabilities that was developed during the One Year War. A variant of the MSM-07 Z'Gok, the Zogok was one of the special operations "Ag series" mobile suits created by Zeon engineers at California Base for Zeon's invasion of the Earth Federation Forces' underground military headquarters of Jaburo. It was meant to work alongside the other mobile suits of the series, such as the MSM-04G Juaggu, and its role was that of the vanguard. Unlike Z'Gok, Zogok is not equipped with any firearms like mega particle cannons; instead, it has unique melee weaponry such as arm punches using its extendable arms, launchable boomerang cutters from the top of its head, etc. These weapons were also selected to minimize the emission of light and heat, lowering the chances of being detected during the infiltration into the heavily guarded Jaburo. Although an amphibious unit, the Zogok's combat capabilities are primarily meant for ground battles. The Zogok's aquatic ability is limited to travelling underwater using the propulsion units in the sole of its feet. Its backpack has no function underwater and was designed with maximum ground performance in mind. Like many other of Zeon's amphibious mobile suits, the Zogok has no independent head unit to reduce underwater resistance. The functions of such a head unit were integrated into the chest. The large mono-eye camera in the center of the chest has a wide range of motion, and the transparent cover protecting it has fairly high durability.

HG 1/144 HGUC MS-05B Zaku I

HG 1/144 HGUC MS-05B Zaku I

Bandai

$13.00

The MS-05B Zaku I was a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam. The MS-05B was the late production variant of the Zaku I and the first mobile suit assigned to combat units. An improvement over the MS-05A Zaku I Early Type, the B Type was visually identical to the A Type, but featured an improved cockpit design and better armor material. Like its predecessor, the MS-05B's power transmission pipes were all fixed and contained inside its armor. However, as the B Type saw wider deployment than the A Type, the flaws of this design quickly became apparent: since the power pipes took up most of its internal space, it was very difficult to improve its generator output or swap out parts. The structures of its limbs were also very complex due to the internalized power system. These problems would later be addressed by the MS-06 Zaku II series. Its weapons included a custom machine gun, a 280mm bazooka, and a spike shield. It could also be equipped with the standard weapons used by the MS-06 series, including the 120mm machine gun and the heat hawk.

HG 1/144 HGUC Me02R-F01 Messer Type-F01

HG 1/144 HGUC Me02R-F01 Messer Type-F01

Bandai

$31.00

The Me-02R Messer is a mass-produced mobile suit developed from the AMS-119 Geara Doga. It was featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash. The mainstay mobile suit of the anti-Earth Federation terrorist organization "Mafty" in U.C. 0105, the Messer was produced by Anaheim Electronics under Mafty's commission. Created as a part of the same line as former Neo Zeon mobile suits like the AMS-119 Geara Doga and the MSN-04 Sazabi, the Messer has various Zeon-type mobile suit design elements, such as the mono-eye sensor in the head, rounded armor parts and spiked shoulder armor. This is likely done to hide Anaheim Electronics' involvement with an anti-Federation organization. However, features such as air intakes on the chest, which were usually only seen on Federation MS, were also incorporated.Despite its large size and heavy armor, the Messer has high maneuverability and mobility due to powerful main thrusters on its back as well as various sub-thrusters on its legs and waist. It also has vectored tail stabilizer on its back that can be used for air braking and attitude control when free falling from high altitudes. The Messer was intended for guerilla warfare and adopted armaments including vulcan guns, beam sabers, a beam rifle and a shield so as to be highly versatile. It can also use various weapons derived from Federation MS. Most of the time, the Messer will enter combat using the Galcezon sub-flight system.

HG 1/144 HGUC MSN-03 Jagd Doga (Gyunei Guss Custom)

HG 1/144 HGUC MSN-03 Jagd Doga (Gyunei Guss Custom)

Bandai

$27.00

The MSN-03 Jagd Doga (ヤクト·ドーガ) is a Newtype-use mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. It is piloted by Gyunei Guss and Quess Paraya. The Sleeve-customized version is piloted by Zechst Ade as seen on Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn: The Noble Shroud manga. Based on the frame of the mass-produced AMS-119 Geara Doga, the MSN-03 Jagd Doga was a special suit designed to be used by Neo Zeon's Newtype pilots. Developed using data from the evaluation tests of the AMS-120X Geara Doga Psycommu System Test Type and the AMS-119N Röte Doga, it has a Psycho-Frame cockpit for controlling the six funnels stored on its shoulder-mounted funnel pod shields. Unlike previous mobile suits that utilize funnel weapons, the Jagd Doga cannot recharge its funnels. Other weapons of the suit include a beam saber with attached heat knife for close combat, two triple missile launchers behind the funnel pod shields, and a beam assault rifle for Gyunei's unit, while Quess' unit carried a mega Gatling beam gun.The Jagd Doga's sensors, thrusters, and nuclear reactor have also been significantly improved compared to those on Geara Doga. As a result, it has greater speed and mobility, and more power for its weapons and other systems. In terms of performance, the Jagd Doga was the second most powerful mobile suit in the Newborn Neo Zeon's arsenal, second only to the MSN-04 Sazabi. In U.C. 0096, Quess' Jagd Doga was repaired and modified by the Sleeves for their own use. A Geara Doga's right arm served as a replacement for the original that was lost during the Second Neo Zeon War. However, it also lost the right arm's funnel pod shield because of this. Other modifications include a Geara Doga's backpack replacing its original one, two funnels for its remaining funnel pod shield, and it was repainted yellow and dark gray and given the personal markings of units used by the Sleeves.

HG 1/144 HGUC RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (AEUG)

HG 1/144 HGUC RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (AEUG)

Bandai

$20.00

The RX-178 Gundam Mk-II is a mobile suit introduced in the anime series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. It is a successor of the famous RX-78-2 Gundam that served in the One Year War. A direct descendant of the RX-78-2 Gundam developed by the Titans, the Gundam Mk-II is the first mobile suit to utilize the new movable frame concept. In this new concept, rather than merely serving as a structural framework, the movable frame incorporates all the mobile suit's vital mechanisms, including the actuators and control systems required for movement, and excludes the mobile suit's weapons, armor, and propellant tanks. This approach dramatically improves the mobile suit's responsiveness, reliability, and energy efficiency, as well as making it far more agile than traditional designs.Another characteristic of the Gundam Mk-II is that some of its legs' movable parts are exposed and this design feature is based on the prevailing idea at that time that avoiding being hit by the enemy is the preferable choice. The origin for this idea is because no existing armor can fully protect against beam weaponry, thus it is better to increase the mobile suit's mobility by weight reduction rather than equip more armor which would lead to a higher weight and lower mobility. The mobile suit also has what had become the standard 360-degree panoramic screen and linear seat fitted in a circular cockpit that also functions as an escape pod. The multiple panels of the panoramic screen make up a single 360-degree display, covering the entire inner surface of the cockpit. The image displayed on this screen is a computer simulation constructed from the cameras distributed around the mobile suit's exterior. The viewpoint is that of the mobile suit's head, and the image is carefully edited to remove the mobile suit itself. The linear seat is suspended in the center of the cockpit, supported by a linear arm which electromagnetically counters G-forces and impact shocks in order to protect the pilot. Together, the panoramic screen and the linear seat gives the pilot a larger field of view and eliminates blind spots. The most notable flaw of the Gundam Mk-II is that it is armored using the obsolete titanium alloy ceramic composite. Another flaw is that the movable frame's leg sections have rigidity issues associated with the strength of the structural material used, and this problem persisted even after six design revisions. Despite this, for a brief time period, the Gundam Mk-II's movable frame makes it one of the most agile mobile suits available. Three Gundam Mk-II were produced in total. They were later stolen by the Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG) and given a new paint scheme. Despite being used by two different factions, the Gundam Mk-II's weaponry remains mostly unchanged. Its only fixed weapons are two beam sabers, but it can carry a vulcan pod, a shield, a beam rifle, a hyper bazooka and a clay bazooka if necessary.

The LM314V23/24 V2 Assault-Buster Gundam is one of several upgrades to the LM314V21 Victory 2 Gundam featured in Mobile Suit Victory Gundam. It is piloted by Uso Ewin. To cope with different combat situations, the Victory 2 Gundam can be equipped with two different sets of optional parts, creating the LM314V24 Victory 2 Assault Gundam and the LM314V23 Victory 2 Buster Gundam. As the parts of the Assault and Buster configurations do not overlap, it is possible to mount both sets simultaneously, creating the Assault-Buster configuration which has overwhelming offensive power and high defensive capabilities. However, it increases the V2's overall mass considerably.

HG 1/144 HGUC RX-93 Nu Gundam

HG 1/144 HGUC RX-93 Nu Gundam

Bandai

$31.00

The RX-93 ν Gundam (aka Nu Gundam, Nu) is a mobile suit that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. It was designed and piloted by Amuro Ray. The ν Gundam is one of the most advanced mobile suits during the Second Neo Zeon War in U.C. 0093, together with Char Aznable's MSN-04 Sazabi, it is used by Amuro Ray who also came up with its basic design. It was manufactured at Anaheim Electronics' Von Braun plant and completed in a short period of time (about three months) under the supervision of chief engineer October Saran. Its design is based on the average specification values of each successive generations of Gundam-type units from the original RX-78-2 Gundam to the MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam, and updated with state-of-the-art technologies introduced at the time. Test data collected by various mobile suits, such as the YRA-90A μ Gundam and the RX-9 Narrative Gundam, were also used in its development. The ν Gundam's design focuses on versatility and operational aspects, as well as emphasis on reliability and durability for protracted battles. It adopts unitized parts that are designed according to EFF standards, except for the Psycho-Frame, for easier procurement of parts and materials and reducing special components as much as possible. It can be easily repaired due to maintenance feedback and combat data. In addition, it reflects Amuro Ray's experience as an MS pilot cultivated over the years.Incorporating the Psycho-Frame technology secretly provided to Anaheim Electronics by Char Aznable of Neo Zeon, the ν Gundam was able to utilize Psycommu weapons and channel the emotions and mental energies of a Newtype pilot. It is also the first Gundam-type machine to be equipped with Funnels, and a newly developed MS control program is installed to account for the ν Gundam's center of mass during the separation and movement of the Funnels. Despite its short development time, the ν Gundam proved to be a formidable mobile suit and when combined with legendary ace pilot Amuro Ray's immense skill and experience, this powerful, state-of-the-art machine was able to almost single-handedly hold back the whole Neo Zeon force, and its Psycho-Frame was put to the test to determine the history of humanity living on earth.

HG 1/144 HGUC RX-105 Xi Gundam

Bandai

$71.00

The RX-105 Ξ Gundam, also known as the Xi Gundam (Ξクスィー ガンダム Kusī Gundam?, "Ksi Gundam") , is a mobile suit that appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway movie. Procured by the Anti-Earth Federation movement Mafty for the attack on the Adelaide conference , it was piloted by Mafty Navue Erin .It and the RX-104FF Penelope were classified as fifth-generation MS and are said to have been developed and constructed by Anaheim Electronics. It was a unique MS with a built-in Minovsky Flight Unit and was equipped with the latest Beam Barrier system. Since the Penelope relied on optional units to obtain similar functions, it can be said that the Xi Gundam was a truly completed fifth-generation MS that could function independently. Furthermore, it was armed with standard equipment such as a Beam Rifle and Shield, as well as Funnel Missiles that made it a unique, heavily armed unit. The large arms were also one of its iconic external features and the forearms also functioned as containers for Triple Missiles. The Xi Gundam was an MS of an extremely high degree of perfection which fought against the Penelope and the Circe Unit with Hathaway Noa as its pilot .

HG 1/144 HGUC AMX-003 Gaza-C

Bandai

$20.00

The AMX-003 (MMT-1) Gaza-C is a mass-production transformable mobile suit first featured in the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ anime series. The design was given an update and appears in the photo-novel/OVA Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. Like many mobile suits designed around the time of the Gryps Conflict, the Gaza-C line of mobile suits from Axis Zeon were built around the concept of a versatile transforming frame. Although the Gaza-C was approved and put into mass production, there were minor flaws in the design, and the manufacturing resources of the Axis asteroid was limited, so many of the Gaza-C's parts were recycled from older Gaza-A and Gaza-B construction mobile suits.Despite this, the Gaza-C was a successful design that provided an excellent balance of speed, maneuverability, and firepower for little cost and was the first mass-produced version of the Gaza-series. However, one major problem with the Gaza-C is that due to its flimsy construction, the mobile suit would literally fall apart after using its transformation systems only a few times; the average lifespan of a Gaza-C would be three combat missions. This flaw was remedied in later Gaza models.

HG 1/144 HGUC RX-78NT-1 Gundam Alex

HG 1/144 HGUC RX-78NT-1 Gundam Alex

Bandai

$20.00

The RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1, nicknamed Alex, was a Newtype-use mobile suit created by the Earth Federation Forces. It was introduced in the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. By the time of the One Year War, the Principality of Zeon's lead Newtype researcher, Dr. Flanagan, had been conducting his research for more than ten years. In contrast, the Earth Federation Forces only began their Newtype research in August, U.C. 0079. This was because the EFF did not see the military value of Newtypes due to the small number of examples and low replicability. However, concepts similar to Newtype-use unit were still included as part of the RX Project. Based on existing research to improve mobile suit responsiveness, as well as reports from the Newtype pilot Amuro Ray and operating data from the RX-78-2 Gundam, the EFF began the development of a Newtype-use mobile suit with the goal of improved durability and responsiveness. For this purpose, the fourth RX-78 series unit was redesigned as a custom unit for Amuro Ray and received the new model number of RX-78NT-1.The Gundam NT-1's development was carried out by the Augusta Base, originally a facility that researched issues relating to soldiers' mental health, it was chosen because some of its researchers published essays proving the Newtype concept. For additional protection, it was equipped with a set of optional Chobam armor, earning it the nickname "Alex", which was derived from the model number prefix "RX" and the acronym "Armor Layered EXamination", the project name of its armor. To ensure the extra weight from the Chobam armor does not hinder its mobility, the NT-1 was designed with expanded propellant capacity in mind. Inspired by the Zeon concept of using the leg itself as a large vernier unit, it was fitted with propellant tank/sub-thruster hybrid units on its legs. It was also fitted with a large number of additional thrusters, both to improve its mobility and to compensate for the added weight of its armor. Thanks to its magnet coating and the use of a high-speed, large-capacity learning computer more advanced than the one used by the RX-78-2, the NT-1's responsiveness was more than three times that of existing mobile suits. In addition, it was also equipped with a panoramic cockpit and linear seat, two features that would eventually become standard on mobile suits, under the belief that they would enable a Newtype pilot to better make use of their expanded awareness. Finally, based on analysis of combat data from the RX-78-2 Gundam, it was pointed out that the loss or damage of hand-carried weapons may impact the mobile suit's combat ability, so the NT-1 was equipped with a pair of concealed 90mm Gatling Guns in its forearms.

Bandai

$80.00

The RX-104FF Penelope (RX-104FF ペーネロペー?) is a mobile suit that appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway movie . It was piloted by Lane Aim of the Earth Federation Forces' Circe Unit . In U.C. 0105, in response to Mafty's anti-Federation activities and assassinations of Federation bureaucrats, the Circe Unit was ordered to capture and destroy the members of Mafty. Hathaway's Ξ Gundam and Lane's Penelope, two Gundam-type mobile suits, confronted each other on Earth . The RX-104FF Penelope was a mode where the RX-104 Odysseus Gundam was equipped with the FF (Fixed Flight) unit. It was classified as a fifth-generation MS alongside the RX-105 Ξ Gundam, which was developed around the same time. The MS was unique due to its capability to achieve independent flight and was considered to be an MS that would greatly change the course of mobile suit operations under gravity. These functions largely depended on the FF Unit, while the Ξ Gundam had a different structure that integrated all of the functions into a single MS. In addition to the FF unit, it was said that an optional armament known as the Argos Unit was developed but its details were unknown. It was also said to be equipped with a Psycommu or Quasi-Psycommu unit. The MS was also capable of supersonic flight by deploying a Beam Barrier in its direction of movement, but this required the MS to transform into its Flight Form .

$23.00

The MSN-02 Zeong (ジオング Jiongu) is a prototype mobile suit appearing in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. It was first piloted by the "Red Comet" Char Aznable. Developed by the Principality of Zeon at the A Baoa Qu space fortress during the One Year War, the Zeong was built exclusively for Newtype pilots. It initially had the model number "MS-16X" and was developed based on the data of multiple experimental units. The Zeong was also the first mobile suit to use the Psycommu system, which allowed a Newtype pilot to utilize its wire-guided remote-controlled forearms for all-range attack effectively. Each forearm was built with five mega particle cannons in its fingers. The Zeong also has three more mega particle cannons on its body, two in the waist and one in the head. The Zeong was expected to be around 35m tall when fully completed, making it much larger than most mobile suits of the time. Its large size was attributed to the difficulties in miniaturizing the Psycommu system. Though another account suggested that it was due to the need for larger generators to power its thirteen mega particle cannons. In the end, this mobile suit was only 80% complete when it was deployed, thus its lack of legs and exposed upper arms. Although the legs would aid in the AMBAC System, their omission did not hinder the Zeong from performing at 100% combat capacity, since two rocket thrusters were installed at where the legs were supposed to be.Although the Zeong was developed for Newtypes, it could also be operated by normal pilots. In this situation, the mobile suit would be controlled by a pilot in the torso cockpit and a gunner in the head cockpit. The two cockpits were connected by a traversal tube. In contrast, a single Newtype pilot could fully operate the Zeong from either one of the cockpits, though due to the mobile suit's prototype nature, its activation and initialization could only be done in the torso cockpit. In order to ensure the recovery of its data and pilot, especially if the pilot was a Newtype, the head also doubled as an escape pod and could detach from the main body when necessary.

The RX-78GP01-Fb Gundam "Zephyranthes" Full Burnern is the upgraded space-use version of the RX-78GP01 Gundam "Zephyranthes". Introduced in the anime OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, it is piloted by Kou Uraki. The RX-78GP01 Gundam "Zephyranthes" was designed to operate in both Earth and Space by using the appropriate Core Fighter and although the space-use unit was ready, the suit was unfortunately wrecked before it could be fitted on. The damaged GP01 was recovered and the engineers of Anaheim Electronics gave it a massive overhaul while repairing it, creating the RX-78GP01-Fb Gundam "Zephyranthes" Full Burnern, which is designed for space combat. The renovation process was completed in two days, with operational testing carried out at Anaheim Electronics's Livermore factory. Its armor is more streamlined for better mobility in space, and thrusters are mounted in the chest, shoulders and legs. The air-intakes on the chest are replaced with reverse thrusters, with the covers expanding during use. The shoulder armor now contains shoulder vernier pods, and added thrusters are attached to the back of the legs and the soles. Propellant tanks are built into the shins to further extend the suit's operating time. The backpack is equipped with built-in generators and also has the most noticeable addition: the two Universal Boost Pods. The Universal Boost Pods allow the Full Burnern to have superior acceleration and mobility when compared to other units at that time. As a result, the pilot has to contend with high G-forces due to overwhelming acceleration.
