The Bandai HGUC #49 1/144 MRX-009 Psycho Gundam is a High Grade Universal Century kit based on the transformable mobile armor from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Piloted by Cyber Newtype Four Murasame, the Psycho Gundam is the largest stand-alone HGUC kit to date, standing approximately 30cm (12 inches) tall when completed - rivaling many Master Grade kits in size despite its 1/144 scale. This is a snap-fit kit suitable for beginner to intermediate builders, requiring no glue or painting to complete. Originally released in 2004, the kit features approximately 218 parts plus polycaps and remains an impressive centerpiece for any Gundam collection.

  • Full Transformation: Transforms between Mobile Suit mode and Mobile Fortress mode without swapping parts, faithfully recreating the in-series capability.

  • Fully Articulated Fingers: All ten fingers are individually articulated on ball-and-socket joints, with mega beam cannon barrels precisely reproduced on each fingertip using slide mold technology.
  • Chest Mega Particle Cannons: Three chest-mounted scattering mega particle cannons are separately molded as individual components to faithfully recreate their intricate details.
  • Comprehensive Articulation: Ball-and-socket joints on the head, wrists, thighs, and ankles, with 90-degree bend on elbows and knees and pivoting skirt armor panels.
  • Shield: Included shield can mount on either forearm, with the default position on the left arm.
  • Snap-Fit Assembly: Molded in color with stickers included for detail markings - no glue or paint required.
