Description

The Bandai HGTWFM #03 1/144 XVX-016 Gundam Aerial is a High Grade model kit from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. As the protagonist Suletta Mercury's personal mobile suit, the Gundam Aerial stands out with its signature Escutcheon shield system and luminous GUND-BIT technology. This snap-fit kit is suitable for beginner to intermediate builders and requires no glue or painting for a complete build. It was released in October 2022 as one of the first kits in the HGTWFM line.

Key Features

  • Separable Escutcheon Shield: The shield can be divided into 11 individual Bit Stave parts that attach to hardpoints across the mobile suit's body, recreating the Bit on Form configuration from the anime.
  • In-Mold Shell Unit: The chest Shell Unit uses in-mold decoration and clear parts with double-sided stickers to reproduce the iconic glowing effect, with selectable light-emitting and non-light-emitting states.
  • Clear Beam Effect Parts: Beam saber blades are molded in translucent clear plastic for a dynamic display appearance.
  • Long Barrel Beam Rifle: Bit Stave parts can be connected to the beam rifle to form an extended long-barrel configuration.
  • Double-Sided Stickers: Specially printed stickers with patterns on the adhesive surface create transparency and depth when applied to the inside of clear parts.
  • Full Articulation: Ball-and-socket joints, rotating waist, and multi-axis limb joints allow for a wide range of dynamic poses.
  • Snap-Fit Assembly: No glue or paint required. Molded in multiple colors of PS and ABS plastic with approximately 114 parts across 7 runners.
